dinner was nothing special considering that they rushed to clear everything away leaving us with paper cups and demanding immediate payment
I don't think we will return.
It's a shame because the place is nice but the organization is painful

09/02/2025: I was in this place a couple of years ago in the summer nice nice good food. I decide to come there in the winter. I don't know if it has changed management or in the winter I would define them as a bit disappointing. It doesn't have beer on tap, evidently from what we saw the place wasn't full on Saturday night so perhaps this was the choice not to have them, because they don't consume much of it... the sandwich with the tartare was good, however the hamburger one wasn't that great, an overcooked hamburger almost looked like the MC's! Never mind the desserts had almost nothing of those listed, we opted for a pistachio millefeuille (that is, a poor quality pistachio thrown on top that had everything except pistachio flavour) so let's leave it alone. If I were to go back, given how it looks at this moment, totally different from the summer, I would not go back and I do not recommend it! What survived was the tartare sandwich, even the bread was of good quality but let's leave the rest alone! Hoping this review of mine will be an inspiration to review something and improve or rather return to the place I met in the summer!!!

18/02/2025: Abbiamo mangiato in questo ristorante dopo visitare la Villa Adriana. Abbiamo mangiato un ottima frittura di calamari e gamberi, dei piatti di pasta con polpo ed un ottimo raviolo fuori menu. Da non perdere il tiramisù della casa.

10/04/2025: Esperienza eccellente in questa cucina romana autentica! Fin dal primo momento siamo stati accolti con una gentilezza rara: il personale è estremamente cordiale, attento e professionale, capace di farti sentire davvero a casa. Un aspetto che abbiamo particolarmente apprezzato è stata la trasparenza assoluta sul peso della carne, dichiarato con chiarezza e confermato al momento del servizio, cosa purtroppo non sempre scontata.
Ma il vero trionfo è stata l’amatriciana: semplicemente strepitosa. Il guanciale croccante al punto giusto, il sugo ricco e saporito, e la pasta perfettamente al dente. Un piatto da standing ovation, che da solo varrebbe il viaggio.
Consigliatissimo per chi cerca sapori autentici e un servizio impeccabile. Torneremo sicuramente!

16/03/2025: We are a family from Turin joined by a couple of friends from Frosinone. We were literally enchanted by the welcome and kindness of the staff. The location is wonderful, but above all the food is of excellent quality and the prices are below average. But I want to give a special thanks to Simona who welcomed us in a fantastic way. We will return with the entire dance school, that is 30 people on Saturday 22 March.
26/01/2025: I've been going to this place for 10 years. Value for money is unbeatable. The steak is wonderful... the only point of improvement I see is in the variety of first courses which could be wider.

08/03/2025: Uncommentable. Shameful behavior of an employee towards polite, patient and above all paying customers, despite the attacks against us. I waited to review because I deluded myself that an apology would be forthcoming from the owner who wasn't present that evening, but evidently such behavior only upsets polite people.
07/03/2025: I had the opportunity to come last week, a disappointing experience both for the service (extraordinary expectations and general disorganization) and for the manners of the staff, as at a certain point an employee lashed out at some customers, verbally attacking them in a rude way, a truly surreal scene! Taking a look at the other reviews on Google I also notice a certain resourcefulness in responding to the more negative ones, some of which I must say are even funny and creative, I suggest (provided it is ever possible to evade passive aggressive responses, otherwise the effort is appreciated) to invest this energy in organizing and understanding any criticisms from customers. (Use gpt chat for text understanding)

07/04/2025: Always pleasant as a place for live concerts or a drink. A bit of disorganization, probably due to the many people present (cover 883), when ordering food. I didn't get the sandwich (I had to request it after all the other friends at the table had almost finished theirs) and a second beer didn't really arrive... and I asked not to let it arrive because it was now almost the end of the evening.
05/04/2025: What a beautiful place, all in saloon style! Live music and a very varied eating menu, from Mexican to pasta, pizza and meat. The pizza, however, was too chewy... I definitely recommend the Texmex.

19/02/2025: Everything perfect, now that they've also changed the bun I can confidently say that it's one of the best burgers in Rome. I live in Piazza Bologna, I'm surrounded by sandwich shops - even mainstream ones - but none compare to Ciccio! The same namesake certainly does not reach this quality and I say this as a customer of both!

Whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner, you will find what you are looking for in good quality, even to take away.
It offers first courses, second courses of meat or fish, side dishes and excellent round and sliced pizza, but their specialty is burgers, of which they have an endless list.
Friendly staff and fast service.
