17/08/2025: Some friends from Montesilvano recommended this restaurant to us, and it was the best recommendation of our holiday. A simple place, impeccable staff, and excellent food. The fried pecorino cheese slices are unforgettable, the stuffed gnocco fritto (a dish I'd never tried) is noteworthy, the mutton is superb, and let's not forget the traditional arrosticini. Don't miss the dessert: the coconut and lemon tiramisu is delicious. The price is very fair. It's one of those places where you feel at home and it's nice to return.

Fresh food, friendly and helpful staff.

13/04/2025: We really enjoyed our sunny afternoon spent at Maude last month. Lewis was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and made the wine tasting a lot of fun! The wines were great and if ever back in Wanaka I would definitely go again!
23/03/2025: Wine tasting - delicious, fun and informative experience in the most sunniest surroundings. Loved everything about it: the wines we tased, the sunny spot, and the English guy who did the tasting. Can recommend 100%.
Best to make a reservation, it’s 20NZ$. We purchased 2 bottles afterwards and got one wine tasting fee deducted and will remember Maude for our next wine purchase when back in Germany.

07/09/2025: I arrived on a Sunday at 8:10 pm, less than half the tables were occupied, the pizza counter was full, I had asked for a table for myself to get just 2 slices of pizza from the pre-made ones, I ate them in a matter of 10 minutes and they told me that I couldn't take a table at that time because they were all already booked, stupid treatment of them.

27/08/2025: It's a fantastic dive—I say dive, but not in a derogatory way. It's a super simple place, with two beers, both lager, and an appetizer: cured meats and cheeses, both very good.
A main course: handmade arrosticini, meat, and liver. If you ask, they can have other meats to roast. Forget the desserts, they're not worth it; otherwise, everything else is superb.
It has the air of an authentic, rural "Ritrovo."
The owner and staff are very kind.

08/07/2025: Mi avevano straconsigliato questo posto in tanti e finalmente stasera ho avuto il piacere di provarlo insieme alla mia famiglia.
Ho chiamato di martedì alle 19 per un tavolo da 21 persone alle 20.30, il proprietario è stato gentilissimo, ha accontentato tutte le nostre richieste ed è venuto a sincerarsi più volte che la cena stesse procedendo al meglio, un vero padrone di casa attento al cliente e sicuro del prodotto che offre che in effetti è eccellente!
Le aspettative erano alte ed è riuscito a superarle con degli arrosticini magistrali e degli antipasti caserecci tutto da 10!!
In terrazza si sta benissimo, siamo in piena estate con 40 gradi e lí era un paradiso, tirava un’arietta fresca super piacevole quasi da golfino tanto che a un certo punto, essendo aumentato il vento, ha avuto subito l’accortezza di chiudere la veranda per le signore. Se cercate un posto in cui mangiare gli arrosticini più buoni di sempre conditi da cortesia educazione e professionalità dello staff qui vi sentirete nel posto giusto e allo stesso tempo a casa! Grazie presidente per portare alto il nome dell’Abruzzo in quel di Pianella! Ci rivedremo presto e spesso!
25/06/2025: Among the best places in Abruzzo for the quality of arrosticini..the liver ones are the best, top also the fried cheese as the quality/price ratio obviously weekends a reservation is mandatory. Sergio and Cristina are very friendly

20/06/2025: Allora qualche giorno fa sono stata allo stabilimento per una cena di classe,ogni alunno ha pagato anche una parte per i professori. In chiamata quando abbiamo stabilito il menù che prevedeva : giro pizze , nuggets,crocchette, bevande (non aspettavo solo acqua) e arrosticini. Gli arrosticini hanno detto durante la cena che non sarebbero arrivati. Sinceramente 32 euro è stato esagerato per quello che abbiamo ricevuto.
12/05/2025: Arrivati alle ore 13:00 circa ci fanno accomodare senza prenotazione. Nel locale a quell’ora c’erano circa 4/5 tavoli occupati. La ragazza dello staff dopo circa 10/15 minuti ci dice che avrebbero preso la nostra ordinazione a breve, pazientemente aspettiamo. Passano altri 20 minuti e la ragazza ci ripete la stessa frase. Dopo 50 minuti chiedo io alla ragazza se ci prende l’ordinazione e lei mi riferisce che lei non le prende ma ha già detto a chi di dovere di prendere la nostra ordinazione. Nel frattempo il locale si riempie ed il cameriere (quello delle ordinazioni) si precipita di tavolo in tavolo a prendere le ordinazioni (tranne da noi). Alle ore 14:20 decidiamo di alzarci ed andare via dopo che ci viene consegnato al tavolo un cestino di pane ed un acqua mai ordinata. A quel punto chiedo di parlare con il proprietario che ci pone le sue scuse (oramai inutili) e ci dice che se ci accomodiamo di nuovo ci fa mangiare subito. Siamo andati via.
Giusto assumere e far lavorare ragazzi giovani ma con la voglia di lavorare non di fare i divi con gli occhiali da sole per il ristorante.
