26/01/2026: Perfect tasting experience with Lewis at Maude. He was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate (but not wanky).
We didn’t book and quickly popped in right when they opened, they squeezed us in for a tasting of 7 wines from their multiple vineyards in Otago.
Their Pinot Noir selection was unbelievable, and we took a couple of bottles home with us (which were very reasonably priced for the quality).
We sat in the sun on an outdoor table overlooking the mountains and lake, and it was a dream.
Thanks for having us!

You risk making friends with people you've never met before sitting at the next table.

06/01/2026: Excellent pub restaurant with pizzeria and grill! Excellent, high-quality products at a fair price. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. The only downside is they don't have anything gluten-free! Not even a simple bottled beer!

24/10/2025: A very warm welcome with a clear desire to share their cuisine. Squash flan and mini cabbage stew to start, then an assortment of meats and desserts, all very tasty, including a revisited Tiramisu to discover.
19/10/2025: Specializing in meat cooking, from arrosticini to premium cuts. I really liked the research that goes into every dish and ingredient, all selected according to a very specific criterion: customer satisfaction. Fillet arrosticini, usually hard to find in a restaurant, are available here. The Godot appetizer was thrilling, two courses that vary according to the seasonality of the products, but which are a sublime explosion of flavors. One of these was the pumpkin tart on a cheese fondue and balsamic reduction, with a crunchy note provided by the puffed Venere rice, a flavor explosion. The wine cellar was also interesting, well-stocked for interesting pairings with the dishes. The meat was also exceptional and cooked to perfection. A very positive experience.

Special mention for the service and, in particular, for the young waitress, who demonstrated remarkable skill in resolving the small inconveniences that can arise on a busy Saturday night.
With staff of this quality, you can go far.
Recommended.

11/10/2025: Everything was very good, the atmosphere was pleasant and the staff were very kind.
But the house Cerasuolo was amazing and made us forget all our worries. The arrosticini were delicious and the Pizzo was excellent.
What can I say? We'll be back soon!!
09/10/2025: Disappointing evening. Terrible arrosticini. Disappointing hamburgers. Expensive bill (at least there was one tasty thing). When we got home, everyone went to the bathroom. Not to be repeated.

25/01/2026: A trattoria with a unique atmosphere, as welcoming as a dinner at grandma's, but with the flavors of an expert chef. Arrosticini? A legal drug. One leads to another, and in the end you count them just to figure out how many you'll order next time (spoiler: more). Simple appetizers but made with love, just like they used to be. And all topped off with friendliness, courtesy, and the irresistible aroma of the grill.
The prices are fair for the quality, and anyway... to eat this well, you're happy to spend them.

25/01/2026: A truly pleasant experience, a true hidden gem! The atmosphere is warm, familiar, and unconventional. A perfect blend of rusticity and hospitality, making you feel instantly at home.
The appetizers were tasty and beautifully presented, perfect for a light start to the meal, leaving room for the arrosticini, the main course,
among the best I've ever tasted, cooked to perfection.
The prices are fair considering the quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail.
Highly recommended for those seeking authenticity and true flavors!

20/06/2025: Allora qualche giorno fa sono stata allo stabilimento per una cena di classe,ogni alunno ha pagato anche una parte per i professori. In chiamata quando abbiamo stabilito il menù che prevedeva : giro pizze , nuggets,crocchette, bevande (non aspettavo solo acqua) e arrosticini. Gli arrosticini hanno detto durante la cena che non sarebbero arrivati. Sinceramente 32 euro è stato esagerato per quello che abbiamo ricevuto.
12/05/2025: Arrivati alle ore 13:00 circa ci fanno accomodare senza prenotazione. Nel locale a quell’ora c’erano circa 4/5 tavoli occupati. La ragazza dello staff dopo circa 10/15 minuti ci dice che avrebbero preso la nostra ordinazione a breve, pazientemente aspettiamo. Passano altri 20 minuti e la ragazza ci ripete la stessa frase. Dopo 50 minuti chiedo io alla ragazza se ci prende l’ordinazione e lei mi riferisce che lei non le prende ma ha già detto a chi di dovere di prendere la nostra ordinazione. Nel frattempo il locale si riempie ed il cameriere (quello delle ordinazioni) si precipita di tavolo in tavolo a prendere le ordinazioni (tranne da noi). Alle ore 14:20 decidiamo di alzarci ed andare via dopo che ci viene consegnato al tavolo un cestino di pane ed un acqua mai ordinata. A quel punto chiedo di parlare con il proprietario che ci pone le sue scuse (oramai inutili) e ci dice che se ci accomodiamo di nuovo ci fa mangiare subito. Siamo andati via.
Giusto assumere e far lavorare ragazzi giovani ma con la voglia di lavorare non di fare i divi con gli occhiali da sole per il ristorante.
