25/09/2024: The main reason why you have to visit Casa Venezia is of course the homemade ice cream. You can occasionally find unusual varieties here. My favorite, which I unfortunately only found once, was Menta Naturale. White ice cream with peppermint. There were even real little peppermint leaves in there. Not this typical turquoise after eight ice cream. Of course, this is also available for people who want their usual food. 😁 Andrea please do Menta Naturale again 😉. The new lemonades are also very good and unique. As an oregano lover, I personally recommend the Foccacia Crocante for food. A sandwich with cheese, ham and lots of oregano. Super tasty. Unfortunately this year there was a little less oregano on it but I'm sure that was an exception.

08/09/2024: Here I'm just reviewing the ice cream. We have been coming to Union Lido for 30 years and since then we have always enjoyed Andrea's ice cream. It was always the best ice on the course. Last year it was great, this year we were super disappointed. It was so watery and went quickly. You could also tell by the consistency and that it was very cold. Water crystals are colder than cream or milk crystals. Unfortunately, you can no longer rely on lasting quality. Water ice cream is cheaper than cream ice cream. And the ball now costs €2. We will happily be able to do without that.

27/02/2025: I ordered from home twice and both times they completely got my order wrong 👎

20/02/2025: Better sandwiches than those in higher category restaurants. Not to mention those at the McDonald's opposite, who emerge with broken bones from the confrontation. Rather dirty and unkempt place. Too bad they don't have recycling bins, it all ends up in the same bin. From this point of view the MC is better.

26/01/2025: Attracted by the good reviews we stopped here for dinner. 3 tables and a few chairs, they work more for takeaway. In fact, even though we were the only ones seated, it took them a while to bring the 2 sandwiches and the potatoes. It must be said that we can hear the noise of extractor fans a lot but the smells of food still permeated our clothes. Decent food. 1 piadina, 1 hamburger sandwich, 2 small portions of potatoes and 2 cans of drink... €24 with a fairly anonymous receipt.

06/11/2024: I always go to this pizzeria and, if I can't go in person, I place the order. I was there on 6/11 with a bottle of water in my hand, I ordered my pizza and I wanted to eat it at the table. When the pizza was ready, a member of staff told me not to put my bottle of water, which I didn't buy from them, on the table. I then left the pizza (already paid for) and left. Bottom line: If this is your venue's policy, I didn't know; If I had known, I would have respected it. Being a foreigner, it seemed like an act of racism to me

25/08/2024: Hearing the owner swear... you can't. Not to mention the rude response to some (non-Italian) customers who asked if it was possible to change the channel. Finally, there are two of us waiting to be served, on our turn we ask for ice creams as an answer -"there's a fridge, take them". If he said it before we would have avoided hearing him curse🥴.For discreet eating.

22/08/2024: In hindsight I would have taken photos of the dishes but hunger and the goodness of the sandwiches did not allow me to document the dishes!!! Excuse me Slightly out of the way place, we arrived there by mistake, everything was excellent from the staff, super polite and professional with a touch of friendliness, to the sandwiches and clubs served! Try the one with Fassona's joke, a real treat!!!!

15/03/2025: It's pleasant because it's a nice way of eating... More than anything else. But then they provide few towels, and when it's crowded the service tends to be insufficient...

15/03/2025: Burnt hamburger.. I ordered a salad, considering that there is no choice of condiments, I was hoping for at least oil with balsamic vinegar.. unicp dressing oil with wine vinegar, on the other hand 4 sachets of salt.... horrible service!!!
