08/09/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lots of places in Italy try to make a good American-style burger, but Bark in Gioiosa Ionica really stands out. Everything here is absolutely amazing and made in-house — from the fresh beef patties to the buns, even the ketchup and mayo. The deep-fried mac and cheese balls were out of this world! The quality and care that goes into every detail shows, and nothing is missing from this place. Big compliments to the Bark team for delivering such a great experience. Highly recommended!

29/08/2025: Amazing!!!!!! Excellent food, gorgeous location, even in the summer for dinner in the square. The staff is friendly and always attentive to customer needs, and the service is fast. Highly recommended, a must-see when in Mesagne! Compliments for everything!

It's very spacious, with a children's play area, making it suitable for families. Ample outdoor parking is available. Recommended.

21/09/2025: A nice and courteous lady took our orders and gave us recommendations. And the food was absolutely delicious. It's nice to be able to choose the starter as the main course. And it's very dog-friendly. We'll definitely be back this week.

13/09/2025: Great burgers, I couldn't finish the plate. From the pictures I thought it would be a small basket of fries... No, I recieved like 400gr of fries, with a 200 GR burger patti, that was to much for little old me. I recommend the butcher sauce. It's mayo based with chipotle, not to spicy. I should have taken it with the fries. Good place if you crave a burger after eating pasta and pizza for a month😂

12/09/2025: We went to this place tonight and were warmly welcomed by the owner, who was incredibly helpful. He invited us to leave our motorcycle helmets and jackets inside so we wouldn't have anything in the way during dinner. He also suggested we try a mixed BBQ tasting, and I have to say, we were absolutely blown away! Everything was delicious, even the dessert, and the service was attentive and precise, making us feel right at home.

10/08/2025: I've been a customer for years, but it's been a while since I've been there, and I've noticed some changes in the dishes that I didn't like. The prices are getting higher and higher, and the plates are getting smaller. €15 for a chicken steak (because it wasn't even called tagliata). If you order the burgers, you'll be satisfied, or the specials of the month, but the rest leaves something to be desired. Desserts are good. We had to leave because it was too hot; the air conditioning didn't seem to work. It's a shame because it's always been a pleasant place to spend the evening.

The passion for detail is palpable here, both in the unique atmosphere—with those wonderful handcrafted outdoor tables made from wooden pallets—and in the kitchen. Every cut of meat, like every sandwich, is a true delight, cooked to perfection and so tender it literally melts in your mouth, offering an explosion of flavor. Special praise goes to the staff: professional, friendly, and always available, they make you feel right at home. Truly a place not to be missed!

I was just passing through Otranto, but if I were to find myself in the area, I would definitely return. I'd also say the price was excellent.

09/09/2025: I ordered a gluten-free HD hot dog and fries to go. The potatoes were a pleasant surprise: artisanal, perfectly cooked, and truly tasty. Congratulations! Regarding the gluten-free HD hot dog, I think there's room for improvement. • The gluten-free bread is a bit dry: simply heating it on a griddle would make it more fragrant and pleasant. • I wasn't entirely convinced by the sausage used: I was expecting a more sophisticated product, along the lines of those typical of Trentino or Germany, which would give the dish more personality, rather than a standard supermarket-style sausage. • In terms of balance, I found the bread a bit too much compared to the condiments. Another observation concerns the sauces: paying €0.30 for a very small sachet of mayonnaise didn't thrill me. These sachets are usually provided free, and considering the price, I would have expected a more original or higher-quality option to justify the cost. Considering the price, which is close to that of a hamburger, I think opting for higher-quality toast and sausages would make the hot dog much more competitive and satisfying. Overall, the experience wasn't bad, and I'll definitely try the hamburger too: maybe it'll surprise me!

20/08/2025: We stumbled upon this place during our vacation in Latronico. I have to say I'd go back 100 times over. 🥰 The place is quite large, clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Fair prices, excellent pizza, quality ingredients, and well-leavened dough, especially easy to digest. 🍕🍟🍔 I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a good pizza or even a good sandwich, because they were so inviting to look at. 😍
