14/12/2024: If I were you, I would go back to making sandwiches.... Unsatisfactory experience of a Saturday evening in Pavia. We book for 8.30pm for four people without difficulty; the place presents itself as "new management", but in reality we soon discover that it is simply a "repositioning" of the old 'Puro': no ​​more sandwiches, but (according to the employees) the place aims to be a chip shop, focaccia and pizzeria. As soon as we sat down, the waiter immediately alerted us to a series of unavailable products (including fried in batter and some supplì). From the menu we decide to order a mixed fry to share (a fried fish, perhaps a little out of place compared to the menu proposals), two pizzas and two "scrocchiarelle", focaccias based on mortadella from Prato (apart from one cooked with herbs, the only cured meat you can choose). When ordering, the waiter apologizes and tells us that the Prato mortadella is actually finished (and that it will be replaced with Bologna mortadella). The mixed fried fish was decent, even though it was most likely a frozen product (I don't think it was indicated on the menu). The flatbreads were soft, but poorly seasoned, and the mortadella was really too cold, as if it had been taken out of the fridge a moment earlier. Let's get to the piece de resistance: the pizzas. Although the "local" products that the place promises to use seemed to be interesting, the dough was really skimpy, with little or no leavening, and in the end they looked like anything but pizzas. Finally, I would add that it is not acceptable to pay €2.50 for a 75cl of tap water. PS: to top off the experience, one too many hairs on my pizza made the evening even more enjoyable.

19/07/2024: Long wait for everything even to sit down even though the place is half empty, poor food... they brought us the sandwiches... after 10 minutes the drinks and only because I got up to ask for them... and the chips never arrived! terrible!! We won't go there again!

Camerieri tutti giovani e molto in gamba! Ci hanno fatto mangiare in terrazza visto che il tempo lo ha permesso, ci torneremo sicuramente!

08/08/2024: The choice of board games is really wide and is a plus, the prices seem good but... we waited several minutes before being considered, in a somewhat surreal atmosphere given the absence of music and the furniture improvised. The glasses were disposable, not suitable for drinks. Despite this, my girlfriend ordered something that was a cross between a Margarita and a Moscow Mule and when I tasted it I have to say that it was good and well executed. However, not knowing the history of plastic, I saw a Cosmopolitan on the list and ordered it with a disastrous result to say the least. I knew that I wouldn't get something memorable, since "blueberry" and not cranberry was written among the ingredients and the lime juice was missing, but I couldn't imagine receiving it in a poorly made plastic cup, with the ingredients that together covered yes and not a quarter of the glass, and practically hot; because such a glass could not be cooled. I don't see any reason to include a drink like that on the list, I "fixed" it by adding an ice cube, but it certainly wasn't enough. The crème brulée was good despite the burn not being at its best, given the circumstances I would have generally appreciated more elasticity, perhaps applying a small discount which would not have meant much economically but which would have made me walk away more calmly. However, I wish good luck to the place and to the young people who work there, because I believe that with some forethought it can have good margins for improvement

08/11/2024: Like all McDonald's, an excellent meeting point for socializing. In the center of Ferrara, even when eating under the portico you don't have to suffer car traffic, as can happen in other places. Do not underestimate the splendid view of the entire square of Ferrara Duomo, etc. etc.

Last night the manager treated the young foreign boy who was making coffee very badly due to a mistake (seen with my own eyes) by one of her colleagues! In front of customers there are ways and ways to scold people! The guys who served the tables were very nice and quick! Quite a long wait! HI

13/12/2024: Sono andato regolarmente da Buns da quando ha aperto, almeno un paio di volte l’anno e ho notato che la qualità del cibo e del servizio è costantemente ma inesorabilmente calata mentre i prezzi continuano a salire. Tanta fuffa sui social dove i panini sembrano meglio di quelli di in&out finché ci si schianta contro la realtà. 13€ per un panino assemblato senza passione, con carne che sembra precotta (completamente disidratata) e bacon che per consistenza assomiglia ai Kellogg’s, per di più arriva servito in cestini di plastica e in un ambiente poco ospitale (ho visto verande messe meglio in qualche fast food della periferia Bulgara). Ho scritto fast food ma di “fast” c’è poco perché ho atteso il doppio di quello che di solito si aspetta per un risotto in un ristorante. Inoltre, ciliegina sulla torta, definire “spiacevole” il comportamento di quello che credo fosse il capo della sala verso gli altri camerieri, credo sia riduttivo: nessuno dei clienti sembrava a suo agio.
