30/07/2025: We returned last night for the second time. The girl who welcomed and served us was very kind and friendly. The dishes were generous, and the fries were crispy. The quality/price ratio was excellent.

11/12/2025: I'm sharing my experience because I rarely feel like I have to stand with one hand in front and the other behind me in a café. Puff pastry with apples costing a modest €3.50 each because it's labeled "dry pastries." The price, of course, is given on the wrapped tray. Total for a liter of milk THAT'S EXPIRING and four ordinary pieces of puff pastry with apples... €16. I was wrong not to ask, not to check... BE CAREFUL.

09/04/2026: Takeout order for 7:15 PM, delivered at 7:35 PM. Dry, overcooked burgers. The fries split open and fell out of the bag. Ordered 3 sandwiches, received sauces for 2.

Great selection of beers, the staff is very kind and friendly. Highly recommended. 😊
31/03/2026: We dined at this restaurant on Saturday evening, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing on several fronts.
Starting with the service, the waiter was unable to answer our questions, demonstrating a lack of knowledge of the menu. The fried appetizers were soaked in oil, which dripped abundantly, and were served without small plates. When we requested them, only one plate arrived for three people. We definitely won't be returning.

Fast service, friendly staff, fair prices.

28/03/2026: We went after the volleyball game with my bad team. The sandwich was huge and had chips; I struggled to finish it.
You leave with a full belly, having had a good time, and having spent a fair amount.
Recommended for anyone unfortunate enough to find themselves in Rho ❤️

22/09/2025: We stopped for a quick and reasonably priced late breakfast. The avocado toast options are large. The avocados were tasty and the one with the scrambled eggs and bacon was exceptionally good.
The French toast was ok but definitely the French make it.
The coffee was very good.
There is outside seating and toilet facilities.

€10 cover charge (€2.50 each for what, exactly? For the air conditioning? For the privilege of sitting down?).
The famous €6.50 cheddar fries were supposed to be "a generous portion"—their words. Probably plenty for a hamster. A tiny portion, almost symbolic. And the funny thing is, they even told us, "I'll make you add more." Yes, of course. Invisible, though.
Drinks:
– 2 Pepsi Zeros for €6 total
– 1 Guinness for €7
– 1 30cl draft beer for €4
Prices typical of Milan's historic center, an experience like a poorly organized village festival.

05/11/2025: This evening we wanted a beer before dinner, and we ordered two beers, both very good, with a wide selection! With the two beers, we enjoyed some fries, nice and hot and crispy. Intrigued by the burgers served at the next table, we decided to have a burger and a focaccia, which were very well cooked and excellent quality. What can I say... what a great discovery, Doktor Maltz!!! We'll definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
19/09/2025: I've lived in Rescaldina for many years, but in recent weeks, Doktor Malz has become my weekly "refreshment spot."
Wednesdays have become my regular stop at the bar: Franco is someone who has made history here, and maybe it's the atmosphere, maybe it's the friends I've met at the bar, maybe it's the food and beer that are exceptional—honest and authentic, no frills—but every now and then, an evening like this is truly refreshing.
What can I say... just writing about it makes me wish it were Wednesday already!

30/04/2026: I'd like to give this 0 stars, but that's not possible, so I'll give it one.
I had lunch here with my son: we had the mixed tacos, served cold. The tortilla wasn't even slightly reheated, inedible. The sandwich was also disappointing: the bread was completely cold and the bacon was as hard as a shoe sole.
When I mentioned this to the cashier, they told me that tacos are supposed to be served cold... 😅
Honestly, I'm speechless. Inedible food and very little courtesy.

06/04/2026: A very nice stop just a step away from the most crowded area. Risotto Milanese was perfect and hamburger big and juicy with perfect fries.
06/04/2026: One of the most active scenes of Milan student life on a thursday. International nights were the highlight of my year there. Every week I would come here and speak to people from all over the world whislt chugging my 9% Carlsburg. Truly a sacred place.
You would be a fool not to expirience this at least once, I reccomend going on thursday (international student night) during term time.

29/03/2026: A great place to eat unusual burgers. The place doesn't look great... we're on Via Pistoiese and it looks like the garage of a house down the road. Inside, they've done everything they could to make it nice and welcoming. That aside, my family and I appreciated the young woman who served our table for her proactive presence and helpfulness. The burger was also very good, without too many frills. The meat and fries were good. The cheesecake was also good. Everything was homemade. The beer from the masters is a sure thing. Well done.
15/03/2026: A terrible experience for us. We ordered the American sfizio and the nuggets as appetizers, at €9 and €7 respectively, which are way too high for frozen appetizers. I would have expected the food to be at least partially fresh.
For sandwiches, we ordered a bacon burger and a hulk burger, both of which were too dry and tasted almost identical. The only positive note was definitely the meat, which was very, very good. Otherwise, we would have definitely enjoyed the experience at a different price.
