17/03/2026: We had dinner here for Women's Day. The place was packed with waiters, yet the service was very slow and quite disorganized. For the occasion, all female customers were given a complimentary sweet, but it wasn't mentioned or offered.

21/02/2026: I ordered delivery and overall the experience was positive. The sandwich was good and well-filled. It arrived a little cold, but considering the distance, that's understandable. Unfortunately, the fries suffered and weren't as crispy as they should be. A less positive note was the chicken popcorn: it was really very salty, definitely too much for me. Overall, a good experience. Delivery was half an hour late, but it's a Saturday night, so I understand.

We ate finger food (perhaps a small plate could have been placed for those, but no big deal) and then we indulged in the various delicacies of the American-made BBQ. The portions were generous, so we'll definitely be back. I recommend using TheFork for a 20% discount on food.

I spent a wonderful evening at Birroteca Mercury with a group of friends, and I can say it's one of those places you'll want to return to. The atmosphere is welcoming, informal, yet refined, perfect for sharing a dinner with friends, accompanied by excellent beer and quality food. We started with various fried foods: truly excellent, crispy, and well-prepared. The potatoes with bacon and cheese deserve a special mention: rich and flavorful, perfect with a good beer. The menu is varied and well-thought out, with many options including piadinas, delicious dishes, and desserts, all carefully prepared. Special praise goes to Davide, who with expertise and passion recommended the Craunberry: his recommendation was so convincing that half the table decided to order it, leaving completely satisfied. A concrete example of how service can make a difference. Congratulations for your professionalism and ability to guide you through your choices. I personally tried an IPA, fragrant and well-balanced, and a splendid Chimay blonde, perfectly served, chilled, and beautifully presented in its glass. The beer culture and the careful selection of labels are clearly evident. The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive, helping to create a relaxed and authentic atmosphere. Mercury is much more than a beer bar: it's a place where a passion for beer intertwines with conviviality and the pleasure of being together. An absolutely positive experience, which I recommend to anyone who wants to drink well and spend a wonderful evening with friends. I will definitely be back.

05/11/2025: This evening we wanted a beer before dinner, and we ordered two beers, both very good, with a wide selection! With the two beers, we enjoyed some fries, nice and hot and crispy. Intrigued by the burgers served at the next table, we decided to have a burger and a focaccia, which were very well cooked and excellent quality. What can I say... what a great discovery, Doktor Maltz!!! We'll definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

19/09/2025: I've lived in Rescaldina for many years, but in recent weeks, Doktor Malz has become my weekly "refreshment spot." Wednesdays have become my regular stop at the bar: Franco is someone who has made history here, and maybe it's the atmosphere, maybe it's the friends I've met at the bar, maybe it's the food and beer that are exceptional—honest and authentic, no frills—but every now and then, an evening like this is truly refreshing. What can I say... just writing about it makes me wish it were Wednesday already!

11/10/2025: Excellent place for dinner. We've been there a couple of times and had some delicious burgers and sandwiches, with exquisite service from the owners and a very pleasant atmosphere. If you're in La Spezia, you won't regret it.

10/02/2026: The pancakes I tried tasted only of sugar (€6 for a pancake). The last two times I've been there, they've gotten my order wrong. The first time, they brought me a ginseng that was practically water, after making us wait an hour because they'd lost our order. The second time, two slices of cake, which would easily have bounced if thrown against a wall (also €6 each), even though I'd asked for them without toppings, were served with toppings. Despite everything, the apple and cinnamon cappuccino was very good, and the atmosphere is pleasant.

27/01/2026: Mid is a sure thing. There's no other place that offers the same quality. It's always been the absolute go-to place for pancakes: never a single one is wrong or burned, they're delicious every single time. The staff is super friendly, and the location always exudes a sense of tranquility. I'm happy to return whenever I can. A guarantee.

11/12/2025: I'm sharing my experience because I rarely feel like I have to stand with one hand in front and the other behind me in a café. Puff pastry with apples costing a modest €3.50 each because it's labeled "dry pastries." The price, of course, is given on the wrapped tray. Total for a liter of milk THAT'S EXPIRING and four ordinary pieces of puff pastry with apples... €16. I was wrong not to ask, not to check... BE CAREFUL.
