19/09/2025: I've lived in Rescaldina for many years, but in recent weeks, Doktor Malz has become my weekly "refreshment spot." Wednesdays have become my regular stop at the bar: Franco is someone who has made history here, and maybe it's the atmosphere, maybe it's the friends I've met at the bar, maybe it's the food and beer that are exceptional—honest and authentic, no frills—but every now and then, an evening like this is truly refreshing. What can I say... just writing about it makes me wish it were Wednesday already!

12/10/2025: One star for the service, because unfortunately, you can't give zero. Two of us arrived and, of course, we ordered together: my sandwich, without salad, arrived with salad, which I obviously removed myself because that's what they would have done in the kitchen anyway. My husband's sandwich arrived a whopping 40 minutes later. And nothing... we had come for dinner together, but we ate "in installments," adjusting our meals. A real shame, because the welcome had been impeccable. The kitchen organization definitely needs an overhaul.

06/11/2025: I had the Stranger Peanuts burger with a side of sweet potato fries, a plate of homemade chicken nuggets, and two beers (one craft, one regular). The burger was really good and satisfying, very filling. I was still craving more, so I ordered the homemade nuggets... basically a plate of cutlets! I struggled to finish it because it was so filling (appropriate for the price: €9). I found everything very good, even the craft beer. The staff was friendly, courteous, and approachable. The place is small and, in my opinion, a bit spartan, although it's enlivened by TV series-inspired furnishings and decorations (Stranger Things, especially). Overall, however, it's welcoming and friendly. The prices are reasonable (the appetizers are perhaps a little pricey, but that's because they're plentiful and meant to be shared). I had a good time and will definitely return to try the other burgers on the menu.

01/11/2025: Excellent alternative to industrial fast food. Chiara and Irina are very friendly. The food is prepared with care and passion. The burgers are delicious, as are the fries and homemade tiramisu. Prices are fair. Better with a fork, but the quality is equally good. We'll definitely be back.

Everything is beautifully presented, and the service is attentive and professional. A perfect spot for a relaxed yet sophisticated dinner.

23/11/2025: Central Campania, kids' family menu...pretty good, but not entirely...the sandwich was too soft, everything fell apart. Otherwise, overall, good. The nuggets, however, weren't up to par with the rest of the menu; they were very small and probably cooked in oil that wasn't very clean. They had black spots on the surface... The gelato tasted good, but it was too icy. I hope they improve this aspect. Overall, the service was okay.

22/09/2025: This is the 3rd year that I have visited Torre Annunziata and I was recommended Torre Birraia by my host. Giului and his staff are always so welcoming and friendly. The menu is fantastic and encompasses traditional Italian cuisine as well as some fantastic burgers. The choice of beverages are extensive and caters for all. I would certainly recommend this to anyone staying in Torre Annunziata. Thank you Giului and your staff. See you same time next year!
