03/05/2025: A very pleasant surprise, excellent dishes and service well above average
02/05/2025: On May 1st we booked a restaurant at midday and went to Chioggia: a nightmare! Arriving at 12.45, after an endless queue we were unable to find a parking space. In the end we had to cancel the reservation in the center but at 2pm we were in the car wandering aimlessly (and parking) on the outskirts of Chioggia near the beach.
The reviews of the Garibaldi restaurant were good so we called them even though we were aware of the opening hours and almost hopeless.
They welcomed us last minute and without a reservation, even though they were already fully booked, and did their best to make up for our bad impression of the city's logistics.
Excellent food, impeccable service and great courtesy from the owner.
Highly recommended for those who want to enjoy excellent fish in a friendly but also sophisticated environment.
Then we went to see the sea and thanks to them we spent a pleasant May 1st with the family.

Il pesce si sente che è fresco e non il classico surgelato.

04/05/2025: Posizione lungo il canale, tanti tavoli all aperto. Una serata piena di gente, frenetica ma con un po' di attesa ci hanno trovato un tavolo. Il cibo buono, vino anche sfuso, attesa accettabile servizio disponibile e attento. Le verdure avevano un aspetto avizzito e non molto attraente. Prezzo un po' sopra le righe per la qualità media del cibo

04/05/2025: This lunch did not satisfy us entirely as there was no cream in the carbonara pasta. It was broth with saffron and just an egg to say it was carbonara. We appreciated the other dishes. The guys in the room were courteous but you can see that they are still a little inexperienced. Water €4 and cover charge €3.50 seem a bit excessive to me
04/05/2025: After we were assigned a table, we were ignored for ages. The German/English menu differs significantly from the Italian one, which we were denied. We left.

31/05/2025: Locale ampio situato nel centro storico, in una calle traversa del corso principale, molto tranquillo. Buona scelta di piatti dominata ovviamente dal pesce, sempre fresco: primi ben fatti (gradito in particolare lo spaghetto al nero di seppia), buoni il baccalà e le seppie alla veneziana. Servizio rapido, ma un po' impersonale, ottimi prezzi. Consigliabile.

05/05/2025: Skyrocketing price, too high for the quality and quantity of food served.
21/04/2025: Had lunch outdoors, it wasn't very hot, but I was hoping for a quick lunch. We actually waited 1 and 1/4 hours for the fried food to arrive. Finally the long-awaited lunch arrived, but it was half of the dishes that arrived 1 hour earlier. In the end €150 for a fried food each and a measly appetizer divided into 4. Fried food halved, price no. Definitely to be avoided.

26/04/2025: Locale curato (pare, perché si mangia in penombra !) piatti curati ma se avete fame, non è il posto per voi. La cortesia delle cameriere innegabile ma non altrettanto quella del proprietario che ha un atteggiamento quasi infastidito e spocchioso . Un sorriso costa poco e almeno quando pago QUEL conto, potrebbe rallegrarsi .
Non ci tornerei .
22/04/2025: Ottimo ristorante di pesce nel centro di Chioggia. Il menu offre un’ampia scelta di piatti di pesce locale freschissimo. La cucina sa esaltare l’ottima materia prima. Buonissimi il gran bollito di Chioggia, il crudo di mare, la grigliata, come pure i dolci (consigliata la degustazione della piccola pasticceria). Il locale è elegante, i tavoli sono ben distanziati e il servizio è curato, professionale e gentile.

Prodotti di qualità del territorio. Prezzi nella norma.
Quello che va sottolineato é l’ambiente accogliente e la disponibilità e la gentilezza dei titolari sempre disponibili a consigli utili. Torneremo sicuramente.

03/05/2025: Food without praise and without infamy. 1 hour wait from the order, even for the girls' food: pasta with meat sauce and Margherita. In addition to this, we had 2 fried foods, salad, grilled vegetables (4 slices of courgette and 4 of aubergine), beer, spritz and 2 coffees....117€....exorbitant price to say the least!!

02/11/2023: Abbiamo preso due primi dopodiché ce ne siamo andati: spaghetti alle vongole e spaghetti allo scoglio. Delusione al 🔝. Molto sale, masticazione di sabbia e scaglie di valve, spaghetti bolliti …. Prezzo spropositato rispetto alla qualità offerta.
14/10/2023: Pranzo di coppia. Esposto cartello fuori menu con moeche. Attirati ci fermiamo. Poi si scopre che sono finite. Va be ci fermiamo. Piatti di qualità sufficiente dosi normali. Prezzi esosi.. 18 eur antipasti. Ma il servizio... Drammatico camerieri che si urlano una ragazza inesperta.. Ciliegina alla cassa neanche lo scontrino. Grave errore. Sconsigliatissimo
