The food was decent enough, but unfortunately the scampi in the gnocchi were more like frozen. What's completely unacceptable is that even when asked, there was no drinks menu available. The €4 cover charge was a bit steep.

Chioggia at its finest!
A canalside location just minutes from the convenient Giove parking lot, a warm and friendly welcome, and top-quality dishes, including the Moeche (soft shellfish), which are always delicious! Delicious baked eel and a generous, light fried dish, all washed down with a Ca dei Frati that's a sure thing. Recommended by a friend, it didn't disappoint at all, quite the opposite! If you stop by, definitely try it!
P.S. The interior is truly elegant and meticulously crafted.

We arrived for dinner after an afternoon of nibbling, so we ordered two first courses: a fish soup and saffron gnocchi with scampi and zucchini flowers. Sublime... Next time I want to try the second courses; the selection was very varied and appealing. Special mention for the professionalism and kindness of the managers.

As we passed the restaurant, we were drawn to the menu, which included grilled eel and seafood carbonara. We ate very well, the fresh fish and the service was excellent.
