19/08/2024: Reception not very friendly, service either. Dirty toilets. Ungenerous and unrefined cuisine. Pasta not fresh. Fairly high price for the poor quality. 77th for 1 lasagna, spaghetti with clams, 2 soft drinks and 1 bottle of water. As a bonus, good diarrhea and vomiting when leaving...

16/08/2024: Went here for dinner by chance. Well, the staff wasn't the friendliest and the food wasn't the most special, but there's still not much to complain about.

10/08/2024: Food is good. Maître d was polite. But once there was a misunderstanding about "split" as the waiter cannot answer my follow up question (which is fine, I have a lot of patience and I just asked for my food to be all together), I detected a change of tune... over everyone. Card was thrown on the table after payment. No eye-contact or whatever was done after. An obvious mood change. I just drove from Berlin, Switzerland, France, Spain... everyone treated me with respect but this. I tolerate a lot of miscommunication as I only practiced spanish and can't obviously know how to speak all languages in europe. But the mood change, was like none other. Thumbs down and do not go.

01/08/2024: We arrived towards evening to be able to have a good aperitif at the foot of the Barefoot Bridge. We order a couple of aperol spritzes, unfortunately they were undrinkable and I know this for a fact doing the same job. I kindly point this out to the waiter, a young reddish boy, and here comes the clue: he allows himself to take the glass and raise it in front of his face, asking me "but can't you see the color?" Excuse me?? How rude. I remained composed and politely asked him to do it again, and he reiterated "yes but look at the color!" Scandalous. I didn't want to ruin my evening, and after a dirty look on my part he brought us back the same spritzes, obviously not remade, with a paltry addition of Aperol. Terrible experience, saved in extremism by Giada's kindness, I hope she can teach her colleague good manners and how to treat customers. If not, my boy you have the wrong job!

10/08/2024: Ieri sera sono stato per una cena veloce.. un hamburger basico 12 €, patate 6€ e due birrette piccole per un totale di 35€.. Spero sia stato un errore 17 euro per 2 bionde piccole😱

08/08/2024: Sono andata in questo locale con amici di svariate età , il cibo era molto buono, il servizio lento e scadente , non parliamo del titolare maleducato che ci ha risposto in malo modo un paio di volte , quando abbiamo fatto notare che ciò che avevamo ordinato non era quello che ci era stato servito ( parlo delle bevande). Far pagare le salse mi sembra anche una cosa eccessiva … per non parlare del coperto … esagerato … non ci tornerò più

09/08/2024: I didn't eat or drink anything. We arrived in Burano by ferry and I urgently needed to go to the toilet. Since you have to pay money (€1.50) for a toilet everywhere in Venice in Murano and Burano, I realized relatively quickly that I had to do the same in this restaurant. I asked if I bought something if I could go to the toilet and if I could go to the toilet first because I really had to. The lady said no, only when you've had something to drink, then you can go to the toilet and counted the drinks for me as well. I think it's generally very rude in cities and especially when you really need to go to the toilet to force someone to buy something first.

08/07/2024: Non è certo consigliabile fermarsi al primo bar che si trova appena scesi dal traghetto. Eravamo assetate e cercavano qualcosa di fresco e non pensavano certo di pagare 2 coca cola da asporto 9 euro. E non è perché siamo a Burano visto che poco più avanti il costo della stessa bevanda è decisamente più abbordabe

12/08/2024: We entered this restaurant because a blonde waitress was on the street and entreated us to come in, we thought it was welcoming. We sat down, had a drink. We waited for her to come and give us the menus but after 20 minutes we had to call her. There were not so many customers. She showed the menu and my friend chose, I was not ready so she took it for a no and didn't wait for me. She came back and nearly wrenched the menus from us, not even looking at us or listening to our protests. Then another one arrived with the order of my friend. I guess I might have had something later. We were dismayed and my friend decided we should leave though I was ill at ease because the dish had been served. The problem is that she didn't take the time to speak, we're foreigners, she must be used to this in Venice but she didn't respect us at all. And I add that I'm French and my English is good enough, so this isn't even a problem of language. Or maybe she doesn't speak English at all in such a touristic place???? Her behaviour is a shame for her job. Fortunately, we went to Osteria ae spezie, they were very nice and it was tasty. Don't go there!!!

25/06/2024: Reading the bad reviews, I can't say I had the same experience. The coffee and croissant were delicious, service was fine, I tried to order in italian (that i learned over a 1 hour flight) and the staff didn't have any bad reactions. The price of coffee was fine by me, I don't think it's unfair to give cheaper prices to locals. I think it's a matter of perspective.

05/06/2024: The worst coffee experience I had in my life and also very expensive. I ordered a coffee with cream and they brought me a touch of coffee and my wife an undrinkable whipped coffee. Please don't go to that place. It's a waste

08/08/2024: It was a random walk-in in our case and honestly, rather get food from the Coop nearby and eat it in a park instead of going to this place. Canned mushrooms on a very meh pizza is all I can say.

31/07/2024: Happened along this restaurant on a Tuesday evening in Venice sat outside watching the world go by The service was good but not over bearing - we had 2 beers, some water, 2 appetisers and 2 Mail meals (one steak one raviolli) for €92 which we thought was good for the setting and quality of the food

31/08/2024: The staff were really friendly, he joked that I'm quite shy for someone from the UK which was sweet. I have to admit the food prices were quite high but if you ask for tap water (and trust me you will need it) it should cost you a few euros less.

03/09/2024: This is THE worst place ever, the price did not match the food quality, it was taste less and super expensive for so small portions. Our food was 18€ but they took twice, so we ended up using 36€! Absolutely disgusting service and behavior, if I could give negative stars I would. It’s a scam! STAY AWAY!

28/08/2024: I stopped to get half a liter of water, which I pay 2.50 euros for, and I ask where the toilets are. They tell me they don't have them. Ok, the law says (if I remember correctly) that if consumption is not foreseen on site, they are not mandatory, but in my opinion it would be correct for them to be there.

26/08/2024: Yikes. I almost always read reviews for places when traveling before I stop, but it was late, a lot of stuff was closed, and I was super thirsty from very hot temperatures when passing by. How bad could it be? Bad. The answer is very bad. The “tiramisu” was stale and tasted like how a cooler smells. One small piece (that I didn’t finish bc gross) and 2 cokes was 19.80 Euro. I’m guessing after reading reviews now it’s bc we sat down for 5 minutes. Totally takes advantage of tourists.

25/08/2024: Big disappointment... pistachio cannelloni with noticeable lumps - powder, sugar... not sure what... unfortunately the tiramisu was dry, chewy and not fresh, the ice cream desserts tasted normal... the price of the coffee - oh horror, 4.5 euro ... absurdly expensive and completely not worth it ...
