06/06/2025: Locale storico di padova. Ma: qualità penosa e prezzi troppo alti. Verdure cotte e insalata di pesce imbarazzanti. Mollicci e insapori. Pane bianco sordido. Cambiate.

13/05/2025: Ci siamo fermati a cena in questa osteria una domenica sera di fine aprile senza grandi aspettative e l’esperienza in effetti è stata piuttosto modesta. Il locale è molto grande e arredato in stile tipico, il menù è ampio (forse troppo) con possibilità di scegliere tra cucina e pizza. I piatti assaggiati si sono rivelati assolutamente basici nella presentazione e non certo indimenticabili nella sostanza e nei sapori. Servizio sufficiente anche se un po' svogliato. Conto nella media ma in rapporto alla qualità del cibo potrebbe quasi essere ritenuto un po' alto. Locale basico senza pretese che può andar bene al limite per un pasto in pausa pranzo.

19/11/2025: After I entered and politely asked to use the bathroom, the lady rudely told me I needed something to drink. I immediately returned from the bathroom, having not used it, and told the bartender that the bathroom was in unusable condition and that I hadn't used it. She was annoyed, and asked, "Did it take you so long to realize the bathroom was dirty?" and started complaining, so I left without making any demands. I should avoid places like this with such rude employees.

26/10/2025: Really awful, burnt coffee that smells like a sink drain, open-air squat toilet with people watching you do your business. Disgraceful.

30/11/2025: The woman who was cleaning the bathroom later called herself the manager of the place told me I cannot cut the line while what I did was meeting my friend who was in the line while I kept our place outside, when I explained this to her she kept yelling at me, called me uneducated, told me in Italy it doesn’t work like this while I’m studying in Italy already for 3 years. Later when I asked for my phone that was in charge she goes “of course you are charging your phone…” what is wrong with charging my phone excuse me? I don’t recommend anyone to go to this place If you don’t want to get assaulted and mocked with.

24/10/2025: Overrated, convenient cafe for its excellent location in the heart of tourist Verona... steps from the souvenir shop and steps from Juliet's.... ONLY THE LOCATION IS WORTH IT. Terrible service...! And if two people go and only one person drinks... since my husband drinks coffee every step of the way and I don't... they wouldn't let us both use the bathroom. It was also an UNSIGHTFUL place... even to the point of taking the time to REPORT IT for its lack of hygiene and terrible location. I JOIN THE BAD REVIEWS... since they know tourists are passing through, they don't care about attracting them as customers... but I'm not a tourist anymore... so I RECOMMEND OLIVA across from the arena... excellent service, cleanliness, accessible bathroom, and the best view...

19/07/2025: Una vera delusione per chi ama il crudo come me e sicuramente abituato a portate di ottimo livello . Presentare un piattino con 2 gamberi e 1 scampo con 3 carpaccini di ricciola spada e ombrina al prezzo di 28€ è un vero e proprio furto . Pagare un conto di 75 € a testa per un piatto di spaghetti al nero di seppia e uno spaghetto ai lupini di laguna è assolutamente una presa in giro . Ah dimenticavo per finire 2 palline di sorbetto e una porzione di tiramisù. 150€ spesi veramente male . Sconsiglio vivamente. Cibo: 1/5 | Servizio: 1/5 | Ambiente: 1/5

07/07/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante un sabato sera con un buon numero di amici, ma l’esperienza è stata tutt’altro che positiva. Appena arrivati, non ci è stato fornito alcun listino prezzi, lasciandoci completamente all’oscuro su cosa potessimo ordinare e sui costi. Il titolare ha deciso in gran parte lui, considerando solo in parte le nostre richieste: avevamo chiesto molto cotto o poco crudo, ma è arrivato metà crudo e metà cotto. Abbiamo potuto scegliere poco perché c’era gran poca scelta nelle sue proposte e cercava di imporre le sue decisioni. Gli antipasti erano semplici e poco saporiti, niente di speciale. Le cappelonghe erano pessime, tanto che nessuno le ha mangiate. L’unico primo che ci ha proposto era uno spaghettino, che nessuno ha preso, e lo stesso è successo con il secondo, una grigliata di pesce. Anche in questo caso avevamo chiesto determinate cose, ma il titolare ha fatto di testa sua. La grigliata era deludente: il branzino insapore e pieno di grasso, mentre la sogliola non aveva gusto. Il conto è stato un altro shock: 110 euro a testa, senza aver ricevuto alcuno scontrino (e, a detta loro, già “scontato”). Per aver mangiato solo antipasti e una grigliata scadente, ci è sembrato un vero e proprio furto. Penso che il titolare sia molto molto furbo, aveva già deciso il prezzo quando siamo arrivati… la professionalità non sa minimamente cosa sia… Esperienza da dimenticare. Non torneremo mai più.

04/10/2025: Service very friendly and nice choice of products. But too expensive. Double or triple price - tourist trap. Would buy in a supermarket. We had two sandwiches, nothing special, bun was quite dry, expected a better quality.

17/08/2025: Rude and inhuman staff for personalized service. I strongly advise against it. A bathroom pass costing at least €5 is unacceptable!

04/11/2025: Good sandwich. Normal location. The price is high. Also, the lady at the cash register doesn't have elegant manners. I'd take a second look at the whole thing. Too bad.

19/10/2025: Terrible experience! For two terrible coffees, two pastries, and a small bottle of mineral water, we paid €11.10. Disorganized, the elderly owner rudely treats the staff in front of customers: an embarrassing situation! I've decided to share my opinion, even though it won't help much because it's one of the few bars near the Basilica of St. Anthony, and the owners will continue to take advantage of unsuspecting customers.

10/11/2025: We went a couple of times to order Aperol and some snacks to take away, and everything was great. Very friendly staff and fast service. Highly recommended.

18/11/2025: A coffee cost 6 euros. In five days in Venice, they never went above 3 euros, and I was getting them for 1.9 or 2 euros. Not recommended. I never write reviews, but they questioned whether we were ordering enough because they weren't making much profit. Besides, they weren't friendly.

18/11/2025: The worst coffe shop ever!! The taste of the cannolli was greasy. The price of the cappuccino outside says 3,50. They charge 6,00 inside + 2 euros of service. They were rude when we asked about the price.

05/04/2025: I'm putting one star because the system doesn't allow you not to put even one, otherwise the most correct review would be a 0. There are three of us and we order two coffees. The lady is obviously resentful that I didn't take anything, and when she brings us coffees she doesn't even respond to our "thank you". I ask to use the bathroom and the lady rudely informs me that I would have to pay 50 cents because I didn't use anything. I point out that in any case there was a consumption of the group, and I inform you that I also work in catering and have never heard of anything like this. Nothing to do, I couldn't use the toilet. The two coffees were paid €3.60 and were advanced because they were terrible. A failure on every front.

Espresso / extra class - almond biscuits or something similar / can be seen in the photo - just good - service lady nice and friendly - came here on the recommendation of local citizens - thank you to the 2 Alpini gentlemen - many thanks to the restaurant - everything is fine - 💁🇦🇹🙋 greet you - oops - using the toilet was no problem either - super clean ☀️🤝 . With the best will in the world, we can't understand the negative reviews - but: an 🇦🇹 Austrian proverb says: ** as you shout (call) into the forest - that's how the echo comes back - rules of etiquette have probably been forgotten.
