28/08/2024: Just delicious food. The beef steak tagliata was amazing, beautifully seasoned with an explosion of flavor. My first wine from Montepulciano was super delicious, San Salvaggio. Potatoes with delicious rosemary. You can simply taste the authenticity from the region. Great staff and service! Only recommended. Grazie Ragazzi

22/08/2024: Pranzato all'esterno con stupenda vista su piazza grande, menù completo ma non esagerato, ottima qualità delle portate , disponibile e professionale il personale ..buonissimi i Pici egli affettati di Cinta Senese. Prezzi molto onesti .

01/12/2024: Centro storico di Chiusi, è l’ora di pranzo di una fredda domenica di inizio dicembre. Non abbiamo prenotato, ma i proprietari (marito e moglie) si danno da fare per trovare un tavolo per due. Scelta ottima, a giudicare da quello che abbiamo provato (poche cose ma buone e preparate con cura): cacio e pere, pici all’aglione, zuppa di zucca e farro, e spinaci ripassati in padella insaporiti dall’aglione della Valdichiana. Porzioni giuste per appetiti normali, servizio gentile, prezzi in linea con la qualità dei piatti. Torneremo con più tempo a disposizione per provare altre proposte del menù.

15/12/2024: Optimal! The very charismatic innkeeper warns us as soon as we enter that they don't make pasta. But they make 20 simple dishes. Simple, quality dishes, raw materials processed very well! Compliments. I will gladly return

20/12/2024: Stopped here for a wine tasting and it did not disappoint. Absolutely beautiful grounds. The vineyards are magnificent and all of the staff is so welcoming. They greet you with a glass of wine and the hospitality goes over and beyond. The wine is special, this family owned winery creates some very good Chiantis, Brunellos, and white wines as well as some good olive oil and balsamic vinegar. They also have a warehouse in the US so it’s fast and easy to get some of their great wines delivered quickly.

20/08/2024: We have just returned from an incredible holiday in Tuscany, and part of the success is due to this magnificent rural hotel, with a special charm and friendly treatment. We were in the little house (14) with one room and a sofa bed. It has everything (except microwave and oven). The pool and dream surroundings. We will repeat 100%.

30/08/2024: Excellent, simple but delicious dishes, very good cold meats and cheeses, take the meat dish with shallots without hesitation and the flan with sweet wine. Coffee finally, delicious! Family welcome, go there without hesitation. We came twice in a row!

30/11/2024: Stratospheric! It was like eating the dishes my grandmother cooked again (I'm Tuscan). Truly high quality ingredients (TASTE THE CINTA HAM) cooked to perfection and very kind staff. It had never happened to me before, I usually like to wander around, but given how good it was we came back two evenings straight away. Highly recommended!

24/11/2024: Charming village, small but very nice inn, good food and service and courtesy of the staff! Tagliolini with truffle and dish of the day: sautéed ossobuco and cardini! …artichokes… only in oil…. It's not a period... true... Too bad!!!

14/12/2024: Especially the pizza was very nice. Actually, it was a period when I couldn't eat much because I was pregnant, but the pizza was so good it didn't bother me. Only our understanding of soup is different from the Italian's, it was more like puree, I didn't like it.

24/11/2024: A great place with even better service and delicious food. When in Siena, it's really worth eating there.

12/12/2024: We got lucky and was able to make a reservation for the same day. I’ve tried many truffle pasta dishes in Italy, and this was probably the best one by far. It was simple yet not overpowering. Bruschettine was pretty good as well. Their service is quick, and they have a 10% service fee for reference.

10/12/2024: Ancient tavern with the possibility of tasting typical local products of excellent quality. Very competent and trained staff, but also jovial and engaging with guests. Impeccable service and quick waiting times make this restaurant the right place for dinners with friends. The historic underground cellar is the pearl of this place...

17/08/2024: Very nice terrace outside with background music and great ambience near castle wall, atmosphere was fantastic. Food was quite overpriced for what we got, I have ordered beef aged for 60 days, it was chewy and so called “grilled vegetables on the side” were consisting of one sliced super tiny carrot zucchini. (Can see from the photo). For this price I would recommend to increase amount of vegetables, or then do not mention them as side dish please. For starter we took toast with meat, bread was very hard to chew. With the main meal, waitress offered to bring bread and it was not fresh either, felt like it was baked several days ago. In general pleasant experience, but we would not go again as this price tag for the food does not match the actual quality/taste.

06/11/2024: Aside from the super-modern and spotlessly clean furnishings, the vastness and abundance of the gourmandises is like a sea magnum.....at the counter there are 6 splendid girls always smiling and making an excellent cappuccino with lots of foam that looks like hot snow! The sandwiches and stuffed pizzas are also excellent.

27/08/2024: Locale caratteristico di cucina Toscana. Abbiamo pranzato nel piccolo giardino all’esterno gustando piatti gustosi e ben curati. Porzioni più che abbondanti. Servizio attento. Se proprio devo trovare un difetto: la pasta un po’ troppo al dente. Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo.
