06/01/2026: Very close to the main square, elegant and very quiet.
We wanted a good Florentine steak and I think we couldn't have chosen a better place! It weighed 1.5kg for two and we didn't even notice, it was so good!
Attentive, helpful, and fast service.
The price was reasonable for the quality.
Recommended!
04/01/2026: A great place with top-notch food. The staff is very kind and welcoming. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the entire restaurant is furnished with beautiful antique furniture. I highly recommend it.

26/11/2025: Found this restaurant by chance, what an amazing place. Atmosphere was sensational and the food was amazing the taste was to die for 👏. The Moroccan chef Kabira came out to talk to us and make sure everything was to our satisfaction and our waiter Hector made our dining experience super pleasant and memorable. Would highly recommend to dine here, whether for a causal lunch or a romantic evening.

07/01/2026: A lunch for two in a trattoria in the center of Volterra, chosen by chance while strolling from one museum to another. The place is charming and welcoming, in the typical rustic style of the village's ancient buildings and trattorias. We chose two exceptional first courses: potato gnocchi with Chianina ragù and herb pici with crumbled crouton, followed by a terrine of vegetable soup and a terrine of stewed wild boar with olives. Both were delicious, although for the wild boar, I strongly recommended that the chef use local black olives, either salted or sun-dried, rather than the usual chemically colored pitted olives in brine.
Truly a tasteful journey through the flavors of Volterra's cuisine in a warm and harmonious setting that I highly recommend trying if you're passing through Volterra. The only drawback is that the prices are certainly a little above average, and the portions are smaller than you might expect from an osteria.

15/01/2026: The chestnut gnocchi were excellent, although perhaps they would have been better with butter and sage instead of ragù. The bread was delicious. Friendly service.

28/12/2025: I don't usually write reviews, but this is to prevent others from wasting money on a business that doesn't deserve to exist. I've never had such a bad meal in a restaurant in my life. The chef and owner should do some soul-searching.
02/11/2025: We went for lunch today, there were six of us and a five-year-old. I give one star because it's the best. It was an embarrassing experience.
We sat down and ordered four appetizers, a penne pasta for the child, and six first courses.
45 minutes for a platter for four and 50 minutes for the child's pasta.
A small platter for four people, and they forgot the cheeses. After another 40 minutes, the first courses hadn't arrived, and I went to report it.
I was treated rudely by the owner, who raised her voice in front of everyone, embarrassing me. In short, she was rude.
A second later, the pici arrived, which were barely edible and cold.
We went to the cashier, paid, and spent €194. As we leave, we complain among ourselves, and the cook makes a "quaquaqua" noise while sneering. After the crap he'd served, he should have put down his apron and moved on to other jobs, just like the owners, who weren't able to handle the situation.
Please, you guys, avoid it while you're still on time.
