11/02/2025: Magnificent location to say the least. It consists of an interior but also a very well-kept exterior. The restaurant is large and also suitable for large tables. The table arrangement keeps privacy intact and the meal enjoyable without having to hear neighboring tables talking. The staff is highly trained and friendly, meets every need and is always available. He works precisely, impeccably from every point of view. Speaking instead of food, there are far too many words that could describe it, but the ones that I find most correct are: research, quality and experience. In fact, the dishes cannot be found in any other restaurant in Italy. They present themselves well to the eye and are the result of truly incredible technical and raw material research. Meats that touch perfection, risottos that are addictive, very particular cured meats and cheeses that take your breath away. The owner's passion in the search for fine and rare meats is immediately evident when dream cuts of meat appear before you. Just as the work, dedication and knowledge of his wife, as well as chef, are clear when the dish arrives on the table. Don't underestimate the wines, recommended by the very friendly meter, which enhance every flavour, and pair meticulously with what you eat. What can I say to conclude? My experience was fantastic from start to finish. I highly recommend everyone to try this place and NOT listen to those who say you pay too much. No, you pay for the quality of what you eat, and for the raw materials which are of such a high level that cannot be found elsewhere. The price ranges are very wide and you can eat even for little if you want. I attach the photo of what I ate. (Unfortunately, there are no photos of the wine and cheeses which didn't even have time to arrive at the table and were immediately devoured)

06/01/2025: Sehr gutes Essen, gute Auswahl. Preis-/Leistung ist super. Wir hatten sowohl Pasta als auch Pizza, da wir zweimal dort gegessen haben. Absolute Empfehlung - etwas mehr für die Pasta. Reservierung in der Hauptsaison ist sicherlich empfehlenswert, wir hatten Glück einen Platz zu bekommen. In der Weinbar L‘Altrovino kann man auch das Essen von dort bekommen, das ist ein tolles Konzept - beste Weine mit sehr gutem Essen.

17/11/2024: Osteria with entrance directly overlooking the port, very characteristic! We ate outside in the internal street, very pleasant. Excellent dishes from starters to desserts; really everything excellent! Correct price for the dishes consumed, friendly and punctual service! We will definitely be back!

03/11/2024: Bridge of the Saints what do we do? Ah ok there's the boat, the only spectacular one!? Salivoli - Portoferraio. Osteria Ferraja is a guarantee of delicious dishes, from cod to leeks and stewed baby octopus, continuing with stockfish and landing on tuna done in a superlative way. What can I say 8 people happy to stay here..... Congratulations

27/01/2025: With this one twice the other time for lunch, yesterday for dinner, We had two portions of cacciucco they were out of this world, so much stuff. Nice place, nice waiters, 10/10 evening!!!

19/10/2024: Very nice owners and very friendly staff. The food is different from other restaurants as the dishes are more creative and unique. I have never had a pasta with orange flavor before. I'm very satisfied. The bathroom is also clean.

18/01/2025: Really nice and authentic place. Everything we took was very good. There is a huge fireplace in the middle that adds up to the atmosphere. I’d definitely not recommend it for vegetarians tho.

02/01/2025: We ate at this place a while ago. Nothing to say about the quality of the food, it's excellent. But the service is non-existent, terrible is an understatement. More than an hour of waiting to take the order without even a piece of bread, at least bring appetizers so people wait more willingly. The place is small inside and there is a veranda outside. In the cold the waiters insisted on keeping the door open. I understand that it is convenient for them to take the dishes out onto the veranda but people had to stay dressed and there were also elderly people. Change the waiters or hire more staff, or at least a more experienced one who knows how to organize the work, it doesn't take much. This way you lose customers, at least us for sure

15/12/2024: Osteria Mangiafoco is very popular among locals. There are always a lot of people here. People come for lunch and dinner with families and large companies. Therefore, you need to book a table in advance. For lunch we ordered: two portions of lobster pasta. Dry white wine. Dessert with cottage cheese. Good. The last dessert, whipped cream with black cherries, proved less effective. The menu features almost everything that floats in the sea. Quick preparation and service. Generous and delicious portions. 24/11/2024: Unbeatable seafood paccheri.... After those no restaurant is more up to par. Very nice and helpful welcome. Impeccable service, the choice of glass was anticipated with the tasting of 3 local wines. Very honest price, less than we expected!!! We will definitely return!

01/11/2024: Sono tornata col mio compagno perché già conoscevo il ristorante, spero vivamente che abbiano cambiato cuoco, perché una volta si mangiava bene... e li invimolto molto delusi, cibo con tanto di un capello all inclusive, mangiato triste senza arte né parte... un più alla cameriera, composta e solare un meno assoluto al caposala o proprietario...stanco e demotivato... consiglio fate qualche passo un po più in là...... (sconsiglio)
