22/10/2025: It is a small place which is like a bar and sandwich/small food place. We had their sandwiches and some drinks. The service was fast and the sandwiches were very good. I had the vegetarian caprese sandwich and it was quite good.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and the kind of hospitality that instantly makes you feel at home. The food was incredible all homemade, traditional Tuscan recipes that were clearly prepared with love and care. Every dish was bursting with authentic flavor, from the fresh pasta to the slow-cooked sauces and rustic desserts. It felt like being invited into a local family’s kitchen. What made the experience even more special was the atmosphere cozy, welcoming, and full of character. You can really feel the passion behind everything they do. If you’re in Florence and want to experience genuine local food and the warmth of a true Italian family, don’t miss this place. It was one of the highlights of our trip!

03/01/2026: Highly recommended for lunch near the Strozzi Palace and the Uffizi Gallery. Excellent pasta, good service, and a comfortable atmosphere. Home-style, family-run food. The tagliatelle with pesto was wonderful, and the gnocchi with tomato sauce was also very good. We didn't take pictures of the main courses, but we thoroughly enjoyed them. Prices are typical for the area; not cheap, but not expensive either. Perhaps the best value for money we found in our four days in Florence. We were there a few days ago and didn't want to miss the opportunity to write a review. Thank you.

20/01/2026: The place looks awful, and that's part of the charm. Lots of Italians when I was there, which is always a good sign. I had two really delicious sandwiches. The man behind the counter was very friendly when I tried my best Italian, but I also heard him patiently explain everything in English. I think I'll go back tomorrow.

13/01/2026: Fantastic meal for lunch, quiet secluded with WiFi, welcoming and we enjoyed a nice bottle of Santa Cristina Merlot, salad, burrata with truffles and sun-dried tomatoes, and shared a risotto with hazelnut and turnip sauce and white sauce. Delicious! Would love to return

05/02/2026: I love this spot! The bar is divided in 3 different sections and has a lovely upstairs sitting area. There is also outdoor sitting. The vibe you get as you enter is cozy and trendy. There's no table service so be kind and patient. Apart from drinks, they also have snacks and sweet treats.

15/01/2026: A historic, recently renovated pizzeria in the heart of Florence. They make excellent thin pizzas and delicious pasta dishes and salads. The desserts are also very good. The waiters are attentive, friendly, and fast. Simone and Gemma, a young, enthusiastic couple, are the talented owners who deserve all the success they're enjoying.

03/01/2026: The pizza here was absolutely delicious. The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with just the right amount of chew. The sauce was rich and flavorful without being overpowering, and the cheese was melted to perfection. Every bite tasted fresh and satisfying. You can tell real care goes into making this pizza—I’d definitely come back for more and recommend it to anyone who loves great pizza. 🍕🍕🍕✨

11/02/2026: Stopping in at La Piccola Botte is the exact experience when you hear people say, “you have to stop in at authentic Italian Florentine restraunt”. This is what they are referring to. Hand drawn menu, authentic decor, cozy seating, fresh ingredients, and every dish prepared artfully and with love. The service we received was nothing short of incredible. Made us feel like we were walking into our grandmother’s kitchen. Ottimo! 10/10 recommend.

01/03/2026: Marco made us 2 fantastic sandwiches. I recommend getting the focaccia over the regular bread regardless of the sandwich you choose. The pepperoni sauce is so good! Top quality ingredients. Excellent service. Normal prices. (Special prices for students). It's to buy and take away - not to eat there. I definitely recommend.
