30/08/2024: We came here based on the Google reviews. The Lasagna and Tiramisu were delicious and cheap compared to other dining options. Service also excellent and friendly. The seats inside are not super cozy, but the food makes you forget this.

26/08/2024: Great local gem close to the Pitti Palace. The sandwiches were absolutely delicious, particularly the "Pitti". The only thing better than the sandwiches was the homemade Tiramisu. Truly happiness on a plate that I did not want to finish. The service was also very friendly. Highly recommend this place!

25/09/2024: I recently dined at Con Vinci, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. What truly set this restaurant apart, though, was the outstanding service. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. They were knowledgeable about the menu and happy to offer recommendations.

13/09/2024: We reached the restaurant on foot, parking nearby. Few tables inside, a few more seats outside. Positive experience, excellent I would say. We stopped by "accidentally". The place closed 10 minutes later, we asked if we still had time and were greeted with a smile on our faces. Basic menu but one that satisfies carnivores, vegetarians, vegans or intolerants. The wine list is unique: once the color has been chosen, the owner offers a tasting among three alternatives; .what we liked most accompanied us during the meal. We chose from the red wines "from here" or local ones within 45 km... for beer lovers, there are various alternatives. Starter: Crostone with mortadella and livers, good. First course, lasagna. I was hesitant but the doubts disappeared immediately. The time passed quickly also thanks to the chats with the other guests and with the owner and the collaborator, a small and familiar environment. Meal concluded with coffee and a Genoa amaro, but I don't want to reveal too much. I saved the restaurant in my favourites, I will go back again! Memorable experience.

01/12/2024: Great craft brewery serving their own and other beer. I had the Black Tower IPA, Green Lobster IPA, and a honey beer called Melissa. Atmosphere is exactly what I'd hoped for... friendly, with great service and some sports on the TV if you like. Only saw chips for food, but several people were having them with their beers. Also, found a Central Standard Brewing sticker from Wichita, KS right on the wall near the bar!

30/11/2024: Nice atmosphere & bartender. Not huge but decent # of craft beers on tap + in bottles. A bit sad that the Archea brewery doesn't make a new experimental beer from time to time (like 1/year) but it's how it is.

12/12/2024: I ate divinely. Extraordinary tartare, sublime Brunello fillet. It's my first review ever, but I couldn't help but highlight the truly excellent quality of the food. Congratulations and I really recommend trying it to anyone who wants to enjoy eating!

09/12/2024: We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of friends and I must say that we were positively impressed. Excellent quality raw materials, preparations according to tradition. We had Certaldo onion soup (excellent), chestnut flour tagliatelle with cheese and truffle fondue, gnudi with parmesan cream, Florentine tripe and Chianti tuna (it's pork and the tuna has nothing to do with it) and for dessert the cantucci in various flavours. Overall, everything was really good. The innkeeper is a very kind gentleman who clearly loves his job. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back

10/11/2024: Had an amazing lunch here featuring creative dishes and high-quality ingredients with so many enticing choices, it was hard to choose! Massimo and Cecilia are perfect hosts who guided us in our choices and explained the ingredients and took great care of us during our meal. We really enjoyed the new extra-virgin olive oil based menu with a chance to try three area olive oils and then follow with pasta, meat, and vegetable courses, all accompanied by Massimo ‘s choices of wines. We are dying to try some of Cecilia’s other creations and will definitely be back soon.

03/12/2024: You can tell when food is made with love and pride. Little Italian grandpas in white t-shirts and paper hats run this kitchen and come out to say hi and check in on your experience. Presentation is basic, but unnecessary when everything is this good.

07/07/2024: We passed by here recommended by people from Scandicci, but we had to think again. Unfortunately, the step from serving wine and snacks to a restaurant was not adequate. Tuscan crostini made with lots of capers and very few livers, with an inedible sweetish flavour. The Lampredotto alla Cacciatora is a not so happy reinterpretation, not to mention the mostly calloused French steak, all with a tomato sauce that is certainly not homemade. It is clear that they use ready-made and non-branded products in jars, visible at the counter. The lack of cleanliness reigns supreme. Despite the desire for rusticity, it may be good for very young people who love a 'hit and run' snack, but not for those who love true Tuscan cuisine and know what it is about. The price paid is high for a lunch described as 'Food' and therefore could easily be replaced by any stall on the street. There is absolutely nothing Tuscan here!

18/12/2024: came alone for dinner, excellent and welcoming service as well as the rooms themselves, beautiful, simple and intimate. regarding the menu I only took a platter of mixed cured meats and really excellent crostini, the house wine was also really good. solo dinner excellent to return with friends! special thanks to the waitress marika(?) I think that's her name, really good

27/08/2024: Locale fantastico sito nel meraviglioso Borgo di Badia a Passignano vicino Tavarnelle Val di Pesa in mezzo alle colline del Chianti tra Firenze e Siena. Qui potete assaporare al 100% la cucina toscana DOCG, tanta è la qualità di ogni singolo prodotto e per come è combinata nei piatti presenti nel menù. Il tutto accompagnata da una carta dei vini molto importante, veramente di qualità. Noi vi abbiamo pranzato per Ferragosto pertanto il locale era pienissimo, frequentato da gente locale e turisti, molti stranieri. I prezzi dei piatti presenti nella carta sono ‘importanti’, ma vi confesso che sono più che giustificati, per la loro qualità, quantità e per come vengono cucinati e proposti. Dato il caldo soffocante non avevamo moltissima fame, ma visto il menù per alcune pietanze abbiamo cercato di non privarci di nulla e mangiare anche alcune a mezzo. Abbiamo preso: (2) La nostra cipolla ripiena al pecorino di Pienza e Tartufo; (2) Taglierini con grattugiata di Tartufo fresco; (1) Filetto di manzo al tartufo nero; (2) Patate di Colfiorito al forno; (1) Crema di mascarpone con frutti di bosco e le nostre lingue di gatto; (1) Bottiglia di acqua naturale; (1) Bottiglia di vino rosso Carobbio (Sangiovese) 2016; (2) Caffè Espresso. Conto totale di 211 euro per 2 persone che ritengo più che giusto per quanto mangiato, sia per la qualità del cibo, che per la sua quantità oltre al servizio offerto, veramente di livello, cordiale e nei tempi. Nota di merito e non banale: Il personale arriva al tavolo per chiedere di portare via i piatti solamente quando tutti i commensali hanno finito di mangiare…. Cosa che alla quale non ero più abituato, ma che è basilare per un buon servizio. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente, ve lo consiglio anche per la pizza che abbiamo assaggiato tempo addietro. Complimenti alla cucina ed allo staff di sala.
