The cuisine, perfect and specifically designed to accompany the beers, offers dishes that celebrate the territory, made with fresh, quality products. The atmosphere is welcoming and familiar, also thanks to Sergio, who with his enthusiasm knows how to describe every beer and dish with passion. 10/12/2024: Historic place, and you can see it from the antiques, clean and tidy. Impeccable service, kindness and attention to the customer, never intrusive but always present. There were two of us but the portions were for four! Everything was exceptional, from the starter to the dessert I couldn't find anything that wasn't delicious, it was really worth traveling a few kilometers to have lunch here. We spent €30 each, a more than fair price for what we ate. We will be back to try the other dishes!

03/11/2024: Possibly the best burger I had in my life. Comes with a side of fries and a smile of the waiters. We can highly recommend the atmosphere, food and service at a very reasonable price.

03/01/2025: Very particular environment, in the historic and central part of Alghero. Good professionalism in the service, but for those who already know the food and wine wonders of Sardinia, many words are unnecessary. The only flaw: there is no card/list and it is not possible to know the cost of the drink/wine you choose, a shame especially for foreign tourists. In any case, an experience worth trying!

26/10/2024: Cette petite rue magnifique nous a donné envie de nous arrêter prendre une petit verre. Nous sommes tombés sur MON BAR BISTROT, c'était une belle surprise 🤩 Un patron " Dominique" trés commerçant qui sait prendre soin de ses clients. Il fait goûter différents vins pour nous permettre de choisir, donne des explications sur ses produits. Une planche de fromages et charcuteries avec de très bon produits et des associations qui relèvent les goûts. Une découverte incroyable. Merci pour tout.

28/12/2024: I called yesterday morning to order a birthday cake for the evening. The guy I spoke to on the phone, Matteo, was very kind, helping me with my choice. When I went to pick up, Matteo was very friendly and so were all the staff. Despite the workload they were quick to serve me. The prices are good and the cake was great. Highly recommended

19/01/2025: By going to eat in this restaurant you take a dive into the past of a few decades. The food is cooked and presented as it was done in the 90s, including cream in the fish first courses! Furthermore, a menu is not provided so, in addition to not knowing how much you will spend, it is practically impossible to remember the dishes that are listed by the waiters. In the end the bill is adequate for the raw material but the kitchen definitely needs to be renewed and opened up to the new millennium. Very attentive and friendly service.

At Sale e Pepe you can find a careful selection of cured meats and cheeses that you can take home, or eat comfortably on site while sipping a good glass of wine. Besides cutting boards, I love gourmet sandwiches that can be assembled with the ingredients available on the counter or simply relying on the advice of the master butcher :) In short, Sale e Pepe is the perfect place for a quality lunch break!
