03/05/2026: I was pleasantly impressed by the place, which features a large olive oil press in the dining room and other traditional dishes. The food is homemade and excellent, the service is fast, and Sandro's friendliness is priceless. I'll definitely be back.

Excellent quality, from the ingredients to the plating, you can taste the craftsmanship and attention to detail. The service is attentive, friendly, and always present without being intrusive.
A special mention for the chef: top-notch technique and a truly wonderful person; you can taste the passion he puts into what he does.

14/05/2026: On holiday for several days in Gallipoli, this is a great little bar to go to for our spritz and lemon tonic. Incredible sea view from the terrace, and a really nice interior. The waiter is great and very friendly, prices are reasonable, I highly recommend it.

16/05/2026: We received a very warm welcome. Even though our English was rudimentary and our Italian nonexistent, the staff took an incredible amount of time and patience to understand us and fulfill our wishes.
The sunset during dinner... priceless.
The food itself was incredibly delicious; we had tuna, pasta carbonara, and pasta with pesto alla genovese (or something like that)... We were looked after in a very unobtrusive yet genuinely kind manner, and nothing was lacking. A huge compliment, and we will definitely come back. 🫶🏻

23/06/2026: My B&B offered breakfast here and it was a treat. The views from the windows are really a nice start for the day. Cappuccinos were really good and Cornettos very fresh and tasty. Of course, Caffè Leccese is always a refreshing choice in the summer.
12/06/2026: We had two glasses of excellent Paololeo white wine from Salento, some delicious local appetizers, a sandwich filled with tuna, provola, and tomatoes, and an excellent Salento coffee with almond milk, all enjoyed while sitting at a table with a wonderful view!

13/05/2026: I have very mixed feelings about this establishment. We were initially greeted warmly by a young, smiling, and attentive waiter.
He then handed our order over to his colleague Silvia, and she didn't smile at all. She didn't even try to understand what we wanted and barely spoke, even though I always try to speak a few words of Italian.
And yet, there weren't many tourists around. Perhaps she chose the wrong profession. As for the food, there was a wide selection of ice cream, cakes, and savory items. The cannolo was a good size and tasty. The ice cream was also good. It's a shame that the unpleasant welcome from this waitress spoiled the experience. We come here to relax; let's not forget that.

10/05/2026: We had three gin and tonics...horrible...flat tonic, only the smell of gin! €21 is fine if they make them well, not if you give me flat water. Not recommended.

Pranzo ottimo : carrellata di antipasti di mare molto varia e ricca, crudo di ottima qualità, i primi degni della fama dello chef, Maurizio Felice si conferma il numero uno in cucina, dovunque lui vada innovazione e gusto li ritrovi in ogni piatto suggerito. Complimenti allo chef Maurizio e a tutto il suo staff.
Angolo Blu consigliatissimo.
