28/02/2026: A beautiful, spacious restaurant. The dishes are prepared with love and attention by the family who owns it. The cuisine is primarily traditional Apulian, but you can also enjoy fish and meat first and second courses. The atmosphere is typical of this region, and the welcome is truly family-like. A large courtyard allows you to dine while enjoying the cool evening air. Excellent prices. Highly recommended.

26/10/2025: A lovely outdoor setting. Excellent background music, great to listen to and chat with at the same time. Excellent, friendly staff. A more than decent menu. Excellent selection of wines and spirits. Fair prices.
18/09/2025: We were a party of 9 … a lot of people.. and we were lucky to find this restaurant, service was very fast and Margarita (waitress) was the best!!
We tried different drinks, Sprits like Aperol, Hugo and Campari. we tried with pasta orichietti, good enough, and a couple of sandwiches, one with octopus and another with egg plant, really good!!!
Place is just nexts to great views of the city

20/02/2026: We stopped in for a lunchtime snack and coffee. Full of fresh, homemade pastries. So good. Got offered a lovely strawberry pastry cream tart slice on top of a few other pieces of cake and some focaccia. So yummy and I had to roll down the hill after because I was very full. Lovely service and gorgeous view.
26/01/2026: Came for the cheesecake, stayed for the view of this wonderful round City! This Ricotta style cheesecake is a MODEL and ode to what the best of its kind should taste like. The dark unsweet chocolate chips inside were so unexpected but meant to be! Too bad didn't snap a picture but read below for more tips of this town.
Parking was a breeze and easy enough if you park just a little bit before reaching the top of the city! The view for parking was even a gem!

19/06/2025: Do indulge in this little dissimulated jewel, placed in the historical district of just as much of an underrated city, Brindisi.
Retrogusto lives up to the highest standards of Italian charme and hospitality.
A tucked away corner popping up unexpectedly from the cobblestone streets connecting important sites of Brindisi's old town (you just can't miss the nearby archeological museum Francesco Ribezzo, outstanding yet virtually unkown), this place will surprise you with its quaint atmosphere, welcoming vibe and courteous professionalism.
The staff is very kind, competent and warm, making you feel at home all along, while preparing the top cocktails in the process!
Make it a must stop in Brindisi 💗

14/02/2026: I've rarely reviewed a five-star restaurant. Here you'll find excellent meat, fantastic staff, and an authentic atmosphere. I stumbled upon it by chance on my first night of summer vacation in Puglia, and I must say I was very lucky. The young woman serving us later offered us drinks at the counter and some of their traditional sweets. Thank you again for the warm welcome.
28/11/2025: A gem in Carovigno. Hospitable service, delicious meats from their own butcher shop. Enjoyed incredibly delicious food and drinks among the locals at a very reasonable price. If you're looking for the true Italian Puglia experience, you should definitely eat here!

11/11/2025: Very good pizza, very small parking lot! Several aspects could be improved. Saturdays are definitely too crowded, partly due to takeout.
26/10/2025: We had a table at 9:30 PM. We ordered at 10:15 PM. After that, the fried food arrived first, after twenty minutes, and then we ordered drinks, as they hadn't arrived yet. The pizzas arrived at 11:30 PM. There was no staff, slow service, and the dining room was uncovered, so we left the pizzeria at midnight. We won't be coming back.

29/09/2025: We made it our mission to try as many gelateria shops in Ostuni as we could, and while they started to taste the same, this shop was an exception. Staff were super friendly, and the taste and texture of their gelato was excellent! Highly recommend, worth the walk up the steps to the top of Ostuni to enjoy their many sweet treats while enjoying the beautiful view!

24/11/2025: 1. There was nothing to eat, no hot chocolate, and I don't have any bitter ginseng, not even muffins.
2. The coffee was bad, it was watery.
3. The waitress snorted at us when we asked, "So what do you have?" because the table was dirty and there was no menu.
