Caffè Centrale In Francavilla fontana

18/08/2026: Because of its proximity to our accommodation, we ate here today. It was delicious, and thankfully, we were one of the first guests. It got busier and busier, which is great, of course. However, we noticed something. Since we work in this field ourselves, we sometimes see things a little differently. Mr. Giovanni seems to be handling everything (even though he doesn't speak English), from taking orders to paying the bill. This is quite difficult in a full restaurant. There were plenty of staff, but they had no job other than carrying food. As a result, we had to wait a very long time for further orders and the bill. In the meantime, other guests were turned away. Our table would have been free again long ago. This shouldn't be taken as criticism, but simply as an improvement on our part. Sometimes you have to delegate. 😉

12/08/2026: Great evening! Friendly service and, above all, excellent home-cooked food. Compliments to the owner.
