02/12/2024: We were a little disappointed due to the outstanding reviews. The ambience is unparalleled and the service is friendly. But the food only looked great on the menu. My fried potatoes with red cabbage were simple potato pancakes with raw grated red cabbage. This is not a high level of cooking and tasted a bit bland - like raw food. Still a nice evening, but you shouldn't go here if you appreciate very good food. Then it's better to trust the Michelin Guide.

05/11/2024: Amazing place! The food, the owner who took care of us and the atmosphere were amazing. They welcomed us really nicely and even put a candle on my desert as it was my birthday. We had tuna and octopus and both were beautiful. We also had an appetizer which was super nice and a delicious cheesecake. Highly recommend and book a table for sure as there are only few tables inside.

03/01/2025: A place reminiscent of typical American PABs with very nice license plates and accessories. The waiters are very smiley and in my opinion proud of what they do. I left very happy.😋

03/01/2025: I'm from Naples, traveling for work I found myself in front of this splendid place, intrigued I stopped for something to eat. Everything was delicious, excellent quality of the products and originality in everything, not to mention the staff, who were kind and professional, made me feel at home. I highly recommend and with an empty stomach 😁.

02/02/2025: 5 star service. Everyone puts a lot of effort into their work. The food is good and quality. You can choose different tasting plans where you can try a little bit of everything. The price is reasonable for a seafood restaurant. Location is cozy, plates and glasses are very nice. From the outside (from the street) however, it does not look like a restaurant, so don't let that confuse you.

27/01/2025: Locale Spazioso, pulto e raffinato con ottimo servizio al tavolo. Ho pranzato domenica scorsa e posso dire che ho sentito la freschezza e bontà degli ingredienti a base di pesce negli antipasti. Anche se troppo elaborati con quel sapore agrodolce stile nordico, che a mio avviso non fa parte della cucina italiana del pesce. Ho preso 2 primi chiamati melanina che consistevano nel proporre lo spaghetto fatto in casa con il nero di seppia (con seppioline e simili) e una burratina di contorno del piatto. Si sentiva la pasta ben cucinata e fresca, ma non mi è assolutamente piaciuto ed ho lasciato metà piatto. Ho sbagliato a chiedere quel piatto perchè altro sicuramente l'avrei gradito. Abbiamo ordinato il sorbetto di agrumi che conferma la professionalità del ristorante. Posso dire di aver fatto una buona esperienza e che ci tornerei ordinando altri primi tranne quello suddetto.

12/11/2024: I was there years ago and it was a real discovery. Not a simple sandwich... simply an experience of authentic flavors at an honest price. Friendly and helpful staff. I'm waiting for a gluten-free sandwich but I'll gladly go back for a platter.

04/01/2025: The staff were very friendly, they let us sit even though they were about to close the kitchen. The place is a bit dated, probably its strong point is the view but unfortunately it was evening and it was foggy so we didn't benefit from it. I must say that the strong point was the honesty of the bill: we took typical cheese, chicory with broad bean puree, spaghetti with clams, mixed roast, water and house wine, total: €24 each. The broad bean cream with chicory was excellent, the spaghetti was good even if a little too soaked in oil, the mixed grill was so and so: not very plentiful and they "hid" some dried up chips under the meat to make it bigger, the cooking wasn't bad even if we don't have a refined palate. Overall I recommend it also because they were very kind.

03/01/2025: Siamo stati a cena i primi giorni dell’anno, abbiamo scelto questo ristorante per la vista mozzafiato. Purtroppo siamo rimasti delusi per il servizio (pane vecchio, sul menù c’era una vasta scelta di piatti con tartufo peccato che non lo avessero….). Cucina poco curata e approssimativa sia nella preparazione che nella scelte della materia prima. Dal nostro tavolo si vedeva bene la cucina a vista e ciò che quindi avveniva all’interno……uno dei proprietari si è apprestato dentro aprendo coperchi ed assaggiando con la forchetta più volte…. Punto a favore le ragazze ai tavoli molto professionali, attente e con il sorriso.

30/09/2024: Definitely the best cafe in Polignano! Very friendly service (who remembers the tastes of individual customers), excellent cortnetti with delicious fillings, perfect coffee, great view from the garden. I love going back there. I recommend it to everyone!

03/11/2024: Peccato. Ha ottime recensioni ma ci ha deluso. Location da mensa aziendale. Pietanze con bellissime Descrizioni ma deludenti nel piatto. Un inutile sovrannumero di camerieri assolutamente gentili ma Troppo presenti. Inoltre ognuno che passava ti voleva Mescere il vino e non c’era modo di contrastare dato che ogni volta il cameriere era diverso. Avessimo lasciato fare occorrevano 3 bottiglie in 2. Prezzo: due antipasti, due primi , un altro antipasto preso come secondo ed un amaro…..190 eur con una bottiglia da 50. Relativamente troppo. Posto che non ricorderò o racconterò. Peccato.

03/01/2025: Portions are extremely small for this price (I had scambled eggs for 8 euros), the quality of the service is also very questionnable (although I have been satisfied with service almost everywhere in Italy). UPDATE: Originally I gave 3 stars to this place, but seeing the rude answer they provided (“you moved the table without asking permission” —> not true; “the cost is clear for everyone” —> the cost is clear, what I was challenging is the cost vs. value ratio; “we are disappointed by two negative reviews from the same table” —> yes, because we were both dissatisfied…), I changed it to 1 star which expresses much more of what I think about this place. Everyone should avoid Così Com’era.

Ottima la pasticceria una nota di merito anche a Giovanni il pasticcere. potete trovare un'infinità di dolci, gelato, torte artigianali su richiesta, come anche bottiglie particolari.. Ricchi anche gli aperitivi. Posto molto pulito e curato, accogliente. Naturalmente la professionalità dei titolari proviene da anni di esperienza nel settore.. Consigliato come posto...

27/10/2024: A point of reference in the Giovinazzese panorama! Characteristic place and excellent quality food. First choice meats supplied by an excellent butcher's shop. All managed by an exceptional staff but above all Gaetano, a kind, friendly and above all professional guy at all times! Always with a smile and ready to advise you! Keep it up!
