07/05/2025: This is the spot. Magic experience and food in a beautifully intimate setting. Ran by a couple Lui & Fabrizio, every detail thought of. Fabulous decor under the exposed stone ceiling.

05/05/2025: We were welcomed warmly by the owner. The atmosphere was very comfortable with an intimate setting. The spritz were delicious, as were the entrees of trout salad and grilled tuna. The tuna dish was one of the best I’ve ever enjoyed. Desserts were delightful. Vegan options were available. We are from the Mississippi Gulf Coast where grilled tuna and trout dishes are a mainstay and these were exceptional. The Chef visited our table and Hostess/Owner was very gracious. 02/06/2025: Excellent restaurant with sea view where we went yesterday to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It was a wonderful experience because to an impeccable and prompt service was added an exceptional quality of food, with dishes based on very fresh fish and well presented. I highly recommend it.

25/05/2025: Located just off the main square in Monopoli and a lovely place to sit on the back streets of the old town. Serving a selection of cured meats and cheeses with warm bread. The food presentation is excellent and the taste surpasses the visual beauty. Our favorite was the porchetta which we ordered more of as it was so delicious. They also have a good selection of wines and beers. The service is prompt and polite from really friendly staff. The cost was very reasonable for the quality of the food.

18/04/2025: I have been frequenting Birbacco for years and every visit is a special experience. The owner is a wonderful, kind and generous person, who makes every guest feel at home. The quality of the food is exceptional, both the meat and the pizza, with particular attention to healthy products, also ideal for those on a diet. The value for money is excellent, the service is fast and the staff is always courteous and attentive. It's my go-to for a safe, delicious dinner.

19/04/2025: Superb restaurant for the setting, the cuisine and the service. We would have liked to have had time to go back… High-end but well worth it. Be careful not to come in beach clothes!

22/02/2025: A FE-NO-ME-NA-LE tripe!!! The boys had the classic lampredotto sandwich, which my son-in-law, a Tuscan from Prato, really liked. Excellent choice of wines, many even outside the classic range. To return.

05/06/2025: The place is very nice and atmospheric (interior). We wanted to have a quick coffee. We couldn't order at the bar. We had to wait for a waiter who seated us at a table. The traffic was moderate (outside peak). It turned out that the wait for a coffee order lasted about 30 minutes - the execution was already fast. I understand that the fee is for a table (almost standard in Italy) but for this waiting time we felt a bit unpleasant. The coffee tasted ok. Ordinary. The croissant was similar - probably not a product of the place. The prices were acceptable. Overall I recommend it but you have to be patient.

05/05/2025: Loved this place for pancakes, they were 10/10 and the coffee was really good as well. The restaurant is beautiful and the service is fast and friendly while accommodating our requests to swap things on the menu with others.
