06/04/2026: Everything was fine, but the prices were "out of the ordinary." We're used to all kinds of restaurants. We can often teach a lesson to quite a few sommeliers in Italy who often only know their own region. When it comes to food, we've traveled to over 160 countries, and we've been coming to Piedmont for 30 years; we know the good places. Ten years ago, we naturally went to Marsupino. It was quite good, although we never understood why there was so much hype around a place that was, all things considered, decent but nothing to write home about. Today, I think this restaurant is no longer attractive at all, especially in terms of value for money. I didn't eat badly, but considering the price, Marsupino is completely outclassed by dozens of other, much more appealing places in every aspect: menus, prices, wine list, rooms. When I recommend places to friends, Marsupino isn't on the list. If you still decide to try it, don't order the cheeses. The plate, with no decoration or ingredients to enhance the cheeses, is worth €9 at most, and I'm being generous. The few wines on offer, like the 1855 Sauternes Grand Cru at €25 a glass, are interesting because they break away from the typical Italian wines, and it's daring in this region to offer something other than Passito or Ben Rye. But they serve it to you, telling you it's a sweet wine... what an absurdity to summarize such a nectar without explaining its characteristics even slightly! The staff should realize that if you order a €25 glass, it's because you have a little knowledge of the subject. But again, the employee who served us the glass knew absolutely nothing about it. When we wanted advice on the menu dishes, we were systematically offered the most expensive ones, even though the cheapest dishes were already too expensive... despite this criticism, we thought we would be able to reach a respectable level of satisfaction, but that was not the case.

21/02/2026: A casual restaurant, located near the Cherasco (Cuneo) highway exit and the road to Mondovì, making it easy to reach from all directions. The staff are friendly and very professional, and the dishes are delicious: the anchovies in green sauce, the veal with tuna sauce, the tajarin pasta, and the bunet (a kind of pasta) are amazing. The local wines are also excellent, and the quality/price ratio is excellent.

06/04/2026: We visited on Easter Monday, and despite the restaurant being packed, the service was attentive, courteous, and fast. We were satisfied with the Piedmontese cuisine, and more: a platter of excellent cured meats, a delicious veal with tuna sauce, and a light and satisfying Langhe salad with lamb's lettuce, walnuts, pears, and cheese. Everything was washed down with a nice glass of Arneis.

29/09/2025: Very convenient location, a 4-minute walk from Piazza Galimberti (Cuneo's main square). Very good food, including artisanal bread and piadina. Extremely clean, with clean and fragrant bathrooms. Highly recommended for workers, students, and visitors for a quick lunch. The best kebab in the Kingdom of Sardinia.
