22/12/2025: Beautiful location, with a retro charm, and pleasant common areas (I really appreciated the billiards!). The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the staff is very friendly. It's a shame we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor areas and restaurant due to a company meeting (though the room was excellent).

27/12/2025: The high-quality bread already showed the restaurant's attention to detail, but the complimentary delicate appetizers were a pleasant surprise! The salted cod appetizer with its sauce was delicious. The main course, the assorted poached beef, was served with a pot of broth, and the attentive waitress proactively asked if we needed small bowls and spoons to enjoy the broth. A small dessert platter was even provided after the meal. Overall, the dining experience and the friendly service deserve full marks. Highly recommended! Perfect dining experience, the food was perfect and the service was amazing!

20/12/2025: I was at Il Moncalvo restaurant today and would first like to emphasize that the dining experience was truly positive: the dishes were very good, carefully prepared, and of high quality, and the attentive and friendly service made us feel welcomed and professionally cared for. For this reason, I'd like to share, in a constructive spirit, an aspect that left me a little perplexed. The restaurant's service phone had "Faccetta Nera" as its ringtone, a song historically associated with offensive and derogatory content. Furthermore, the phone rang repeatedly in the dining room, which seemed quite noticeable and out of place, especially considering the presence of a Black person. I'm certain there was no negative intent, but I believe that greater attention to these details could help make the environment truly welcoming and respectful for everyone. I reiterate my compliments for the food and hospitality, hoping that this observation will be taken as a starting point to further improve an already excellent experience.

23/06/2025: It has recently changed management, we used to go there before and it was very good but the current assortment of the display case is unbeatable, plus the owner is very kind and professional. At the moment chosen only for breakfast but I won't resist much longer to try the aperitif. Congratulations... more than deserved!!!

28/11/2025: A historic restaurant in Tortona. Family and cousins ​​run the restaurant business. I recommend it, a dinner with friends a while back. GENERATIONS HAVE BEEN HERE, AND THEY CAME FROM VARIOUS PLACES, ESPECIALLY AFTER THE NIGHTCLUB, MAYERLING, HIPPODROME, ETC. EXCELLENT FOOD. .

06/01/2026: I had lunch at this restaurant and had a pleasant experience. The menu isn't very extensive, and as the dishes are served, you have to make do with what's still available. For dessert, however, I recommend the Krumiri accompanied by a delicious zabaglione—truly delicious.

12/01/2026: I came here this morning because I knew it was a nice place. I asked for a Moroccan and a piece of plain focaccia at the counter, and the bartender told me he "needs to reheat it because it's cold." I was surprised, but I didn't object. Shortly afterward, he brought me the focaccia, and as soon as I tasted it, I realized it was as dry as cardboard and cold inside. Now, I realize we're in Novi, where focaccia is supposed to be excellent, and these guys are handing me frozen focaccia that tastes bland and inedible. Are you kidding me???
