18/01/2024: Abbiamo trascorso due giorni a San Benedetto del Tronto e siamo venuti a pranzare una volta e cenare due volte presso questo ristorante ordinando sempre piatti diversi. Siamo stati accolti in maniera molto gentile e cordiale da Alessandra che ci ha sempre ben consigliato per quanto riguarda vino e pietanze. Il locale è ben arredato in stile provenzale, accogliente e pulito. Lo consigliamo caldamente a tutti coloro che amano la buona cucina e soprattutto il pesce fresco. I prezzi sono in linea con la qualità del cibo da noi ordinato.

20/12/2023: Il locale è carino e semplice. L'accoglienza e' buona e discreto il servizio. Abbiamo ordinato un antipasto a base di crudi nella media. A seguire una frittura di paranza ben realizzata. Il prezzo ci è sembrato eccessivo, assolutamente non in linea con quello che abbiamo consumato. Da rivalutare.

03/04/2024: Even though I know how much a bad review can hurt, being a restaurateur myself, I nevertheless feel compelled to write it! Having a father, no longer able to travel, originally from Ascoli Piceno, and a mother eager to revisit the places linked to the love of her youth, we visited Ascoli on the Saturday before Easter! In this context, an inspection of one of the most beautiful squares in Italy, as it was also said at the time of the legendary Festivalbar, could not be missed: Piazza del Popolo! A little windy but beautiful day, so much so that you couldn't help but enjoy a good aperitif sitting in the most representative and historic restaurant in the place! Unfortunately we had to note that, apart from the long wait, given the turnout which would have made it acceptable, the service was absolutely not appropriate! Ordered a spritz with anisette, excellent among other things, and a white non-alcoholic bitter expressly and clearly ordered and reiterated to the waiter: without ice and if possible at room temperature! As already mentioned, after a relatively long waiting time, we were served my spritz and a red non-alcoholic bitter drowned in ice! I immediately pointed out the error to the young waiter, not the same one who took our order, and reiterated its importance several times. not of the color but of the temperature and ice factor of the soft drink, punctually we are served a white soft drink, correct, but again lost in a glass full of ice! Having pointed out again to the same young man that the drink had been requested several times without ice and possibly room temperature, I apologize for the repetitions but I want to convey the idea that the temperature of the drink which was intended for my mother was important, the waiter very rudely he mumbled something between his teeth and, having taken the glass of ice with a bit of soft drink inside, he brings us back, in a very shameless and rude way, the same thing after having removed the ice and therefore very cold! An episode which, due to a lack of style of a waiter who does not consider listening to be part of his job and not knowing that he is thus ruining the good name of a symbol of the city, ruined for me the good feeling that this square induces!

25/10/2023: Le paste sono sempre ottime, ma… a volte si percepisce troppo una “lieve” tensione nell’aria. Sorridere costa un lievissimo sforzo muscolare e, senza dubbio, migliora l’umore di chi osserva e, probabilmente anche di chi sorride. Provare, poi, è gratis.

05/10/2023: Very good pastries but little kindness in the service it seemed like he was doing me a favor by serving me and asked to wait between serving a pastry and a cappuccino as if I had asked for too many things.

13/09/2023: This restaurant came highly recommended to us, as we travel to Marche a couple of times. We were finally able to secure a reservation for dinner and we’re looking forward to it. The evening was such a disappointment, from the service to the food and the wine. We arrived at 8 PM, and about five other reservations came in after us. The solo server attended to all the tables first, as we waited for 30 minutes for a greeting. We enjoy the wines of the region and we’re disappointed to find that were only two red wines on the menu. We ordered a salad and mussels and asked for these to come together. They did not arrive together so we ate the separate . For dinner we ordered the Bronzino fish and the grilled lobsters. Both entrées were disappointing. The worst part of it was the second entrée arrived 25 minutes later, which resulted in both of us eating dinner separately. The fish and the lobster were not seasoned well and bland. The service was absent which can really make or break a dining experience. We honestly do not know what all the hype was about. It was a bad dining experience from the service to the food.

22/09/2023: The food is very good, they have a wide choice of natural organic wines and not only that... the spectacular sea view, the top staff and you can even rent an umbrella!!!

12/09/2023: Abbiamo prenotato un hotel convenzionato con questo lido. L'ombrellone assegnato era vicino ad altri ombrelloni occupati....eppure c'erano molte file con ombrelloni liberi. Io, per motivi di salute, non posso espormi al sole. Per 3 giorni mi sono arrangiata finendo sotto gli ombrelloni confinanti, naturalmente occupati per fortuna da altri clienti dell'hotel molto gentili e comprensivi. L'ultimo giorno i 4/5 degli ombrelloni erano liberi e quindi ho chiesto al gestore se potessi cambiare. Mi hanno assegnato un ombrellone in ultima fila, dove, vista la giornata calda e senza un filo di vento, sarei stata male. Allora ho chiesto, "anche a pagamento" un ombrellone più vicino al mare e con la possibilità di sfruttare l'omba senza disturbare nessuno. Mi hanno dato un ombrellone più due lettini in quinta o sesta postazione dal mare per la modica cifra di 30 euro. Parliamo di un lunedì di settembre. Brutta cosa!

25/09/2023: Mia figlia ci aveva chiesto, per la sua torta della prima comunione,una decorazione particolare, diversa dai soliti standard di questo tipo di torte. Ci siamo affidati alla bravura ed all'estro del mastro pasticciere,che ha creato un capolavoro per gli occhi ed il palato. Come da ormai consolidata tradizione, anche questa volta la "Mimosa" ha mostrato di essere al top per qualità, servizio e cortesia.Semplicemente la pasticceria numero UNO, senza se e senza ma....Grandi!!!😃😃😃😃😃👍👍👍👍
