05/08/2024: Excellence. Convinced by the very good reviews and looking for a place to have lunch near the wonderful Frasassi caves, we booked. A well-assorted group of children, babies and adults who, despite having arrived quite early, the staff was already ready to welcome with the utmost professionalism. After decades of service between the dining room and kitchen, I immediately recognize the level of the structure, small details reveal the great professionalism of the staff at the table, available and friendly for every request, especially regarding choices from the menu. The specialties offered are many and all extremely inviting, in particular the game, in the end we decide on both the courses and the wine, choosing the grape variety above all, the cellar has been selected impeccably by the staff. Well, having served the children immediately and satisfied their hunger, we enter little by little into the excellence of a cuisine, refined and precise, after a tasty opening, the courses arrive impeccable in every sense, dishes pleasing to the eye and well cared for, perfectly balanced taste, with timing well calibrated to our needs, definitely a culinary experience more than a simple lunch. Delighted by the welcome, we chatted for a bit and ended up enjoying a fantastic dessert that was completely out of the ordinary. In short, we are not a group that normally frequents excellence, we get along well almost everywhere, but we definitely appreciated this move into haute cuisine, enjoying the whole package from the friendliness and promptness of the dining room staff, to the fantastic culinary experience offered to us by the imaginative and professional cuisine. We will certainly return as I also found the quality/price ratio to be decidedly perfect. I close by referring to the structure, in itself with its own style, elegant rustic that at times recalls a 70s cabin, well looked after, welcoming and decidedly clean, with large impeccable windows, it seemed like the glass wasn't there 😅

12/08/2024: Excellente petite osteria. Entrees et plats étaient très bons. Le risotto aux fruits de mer était top. La salade russe aussi. Tout est fait maison et frais. A faire !

09/08/2024: I returned today after thirty years, and confirmed all the wonderful memories I had of this place. Exceptional food, very nice location and lots of kindness. The first courses with porcini mushrooms and truffles are exceptional but the rabbit in porchetta is unbeatable!! Compliments!!

23/08/2024: My girlfriend and I were in Recanati in April and we randomly stopped in this little bar for an aperitif. A very positive stop, the bar offers a mixed platter with typical Marche products to taste together with a decent variety of wines. the staff are very kind, they make you feel a relaxed and youthful atmosphere

21/08/2024: Very very nice bar in the central square of Recanati. We took a sandwich and a piadina to take away and were served rather quickly. In my opinion the sandwich (countryside) is super, the piadina is normal (it will be). It has tables and sofas on the square. Very kind and welcoming staff, so much so that we returned afterwards for a coffee. Fair prices considering the location.

24/08/2024: Place with fish menu. Helpful and pleasant staff. I recommend booking days in advance because it is always in high demand. we had dinner, super abundant dishes, fresh fish and adequate prices. In the morning it is the only one that is open at 6.30 on the Da Vinci seafront if you want to have breakfast after taking a walk. Open all year.

21/08/2024: Location a little far from the sea but in a pleasant place. The managers were friendly and nice people but unfortunately totally disorganised. First of all, it should be noted that it is a totally unsuitable place for those with disabilities as the rooms are very small and can be reached from the outside via a staircase; to go down to the swimming pool there are steep and dangerous stone steps, we were unable to use the latter due to my difficulty in getting there but also for my wife who on three days, for two it was unusable due to works and is completely without assistance. The breakfast was practically non-existent with the slices of dessert left over from dinner the day before, no croissants, some yoghurt and slices of bread with jam and honey, but the worst thing, after having previously warned several times about the problems with lactose, in addition to not there was an allergen table and no sign on the food, we had to go and buy lactose-free milk; same problem at dinner which, after having assured us that we had taken measures, we found ourselves with the same problems and excuses for having forgotten. A shame because the place has good potential and the managers are nice, but these are too important shortcomings for an accommodation facility in 2024, a little more attention would be enough.

21/08/2024: The Osteria Cinque Colli in Montefiore dell'Aso proved to be a lucky choice during the 27th Maialata in Piazza, a renowned and always very popular food and wine event in August. After a long wait to taste the specialties of the event, we decided to have dinner in this charming tavern located in the heart of the historic centre, taking advantage of the outdoor seating available. The venue stands out for its suggestive atmosphere, perfectly integrated into the historical context of Montefiore dell'Aso. The service was impeccable: the staff is attentive, courteous and ready to satisfy every need, helping to make the experience even more pleasant. Our gastronomic journey began with a meat tartare enriched with flakes of fresh truffle, an excellent dish in terms of quality and presentation. Subsequently, we savored a mixed fried dish which included perfectly prepared Ascoli olives, crunchy and tasty, and cremini which, with their hint of anise, added a touch of elegance to the dish. The first course, the Monterubbianese fried tagliatelle with truffles, was an authentic revelation: a characteristic specialty with an intense flavour, which won over all the guests. For the second courses, the steak proved to be succulent and cooked just right, while the wild boar stew was expertly cooked, with well-balanced flavours. The capocollo in porchetta, accompanied by a delicate mashed potato, completed our dinner excellently. Everything was accompanied by an excellent Rosso Piceno "Picus", which enhanced each course with its strong and harmonious notes, perfectly framing this culinary experience. In conclusion, the Osteria Cinque Colli is a place that stands out for its hospitality and the quality of the local cuisine offered. The quality-price ratio is absolutely normal, and we will undoubtedly return to visit this tavern. Well done to all the staff for making our evening truly special.

18/08/2024: Nice experience in this tavern which inside reflects the characteristics of the medieval village of which it is part. We had lunch outside enjoying the beautiful view of the valley. The waitresses were good and courteous, which should be the norm in restaurants but which today is unfortunately not so obvious. The fried food and cold cuts are good. The vincisgrassi were excellent, the pappardelle with wild boar ragout was good, the pasta was cooked perfectly although I would have liked a stronger flavour. The cheek on a bed of soft polenta is also very good. The red wines tasted were also good. I was then pleased to see my 3 and a half year old daughter brushing her cutlets with chips. Well breaded and well cooked cutlets, NOT industrial. Well done.

28/08/2024: Historic typical trattoria on the port of Fano. The quality of the fish is always excellent...simple dishes according to tradition, don't miss the sea snails if you find them! ... the winter broth is absolutely worth tasting. To conclude with the Moretta.....if you deserved it :-) no photos, because dishes are eaten with your eyes 👀

31/08/2024: Small trattoria in the heart of the city of Macerata, in the historic center. Better to book because they have few tables. The food here is really good. It was recommended to us by locals. We wanted to eat the famous typical dish Vincisgrassi, a delight. We also tried the gnocchi with duck sauce which were excellent. The two waiters serving the tables were very nice and we exchanged a few words with them. Really welcoming. We had a very good time. Highly recommended!

23/04/2024: Tutti i martedì a pranzo Giovanni mi prepara un primo fresco con prodotti di stagione. Oggi un delizioso risotto con fave e asparagi. L'ambiente è familiare e accogliente, il cibo preparato con amore, ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo. Una pausa che ricrea!!!!
