It is a nice diner. There were various sandwiches, burgers and fried snacks to choose from. We had piadina sandwiches with prosciutto. They were fresh and tasty. There were also a variety of desserts such as cakes and tarts. We had the pear and chocolate tarts and they were tasty! You can also buy some souvenirs such as jam and chocolate there. 👍🏻

03/05/2026: We had lunch on Sunday in this restaurant, impeccable service, quality dishes, family atmosphere, if you are in Macerata and you don't know where to eat in this restaurant you can go for sure, recommended
21/04/2026: We arrived in Macerata late last night and came upon this restaurant today by chance. It was such a wonderful experience. The staff were helpful and polite. The service was prompt and friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. The owner (I think) came down between courses and chatted with us. It was great to meet him. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant. We had a marvellous experience.

Cafe De La Paix Recanati

14/02/2026: An ideal spot for an afternoon snack. Also perfect for a quick coffee at the bar or sharing a pastry at one of the tables inside.
03/01/2026: A very central bar in Recanati's main square. We stopped here for lunch because the surrounding bars were unfortunately all closed (on Friday lunchtime at 2 pm... oh well!). We didn't regret it: despite the crowds, the waitress sat us at the counter to the right of the entrance, where two other people were already having lunch. We each had a Campagnolo sandwich (brought to us hot: very good and well-balanced, in our opinion). Excellent wine selection. What made us go WOW was the calm and ever-friendly smile of the waitress/barista/all-rounder: despite the large influx of people who kept coming in, even just for a coffee at the counter, she always managed to maintain patience and a smile with experience and affability, without ever giving the impression of being rushed or rushed. Congratulations!!! Very fair prices for the location.
