31/07/2026: Stopped for lunch and a nice surprise just off the beach. The seafood zuppetta and turbot fillet accompanied by a glass of cerasuolo were a nice change of pace for the day. Excellent service. Highly recommended.

21/04/2026: A wonderful place to spend a pleasant evening with friends... The live music transforms the place when it arrives... everything is perfect, the service, the food and the atmosphere. The only small flaw is the bathrooms which are not the best... otherwise it would have gotten 5 stars.

26/07/2026: An explosion of flavors 🤤 I had dinner at this restaurant and was impressed by the high quality. I highly recommend the appetizer tasting, it was amazing. The skewers, cooked to perfection, the fresh fish was truly excellent. The staff was extremely friendly, except for one waitress who initially seemed a little sour but then recovered in the corner. The atmosphere was very nice. Not noisy, you can talk without shouting. I highly recommend it, and I'll be back to try the other delicacies!

10/05/2026: All the dishes were excellent, exquisite to say the least. The appetizers were delicious, the meat exceptional. But what struck me most was the kindness, friendliness, and cordiality of the owner. The girls in the dining room were truly excellent. Congratulations to everyone, you are a true asset and a source of pride for Ascoli Piceno.

10/08/2026: About a month ago, my wife and I rented "La Locanda degli Amici" for our fourth wedding anniversary. For three days, we were fortunate enough to live and host our family and friends from all over the world in a little corner of paradise. I want to thank all the staff for their warm hospitality! We had a wonderful time!!!

09/08/2026: On our way back to Veneto from Salento, we stopped for a night in the area, and the friends' inn is just a few minutes from the B&B where we stayed. A very beautiful and well-maintained place with ample parking, and the owner and waiters are young, friendly, and knowledgeable. We had a delicious fried appetizer, very good and plentiful for two, some arrosticini for the child (who loved it), and then we had meat main courses. The tagliata was very good, and the fillet was even better! Excellent quality meat, cooked precisely rare as requested. We also enjoyed the desserts. If we have the opportunity again, we'll gladly return.

The location is undoubtedly the first major highlight: eating with such a view, in such a refined yet relaxing atmosphere, would make your day. Perfect if you're looking for a memorable lunch. The menu is an excellent balance of flavors, with dishes well thought out and even better executed, where the quality of the ingredients shines through. Special mention also goes to the wine list, which truly deserves top marks: a deep, unconventional selection, ideal for showcasing the dishes. But what struck us, and what I particularly want to highlight, is the dining room management: understated service, elegantly discreet, and never intrusive. They give you your own space and time, without ever making you feel neglected—a rare quality these days. Prices are absolutely in line with the offerings and location. We'll definitely be back.

13/06/2026: The restaurant is truly welcoming, with unique cuisine and, above all, attentive to everyone's dietary needs. I'm allergic to gluten, lactose, milk protein, sorbitol, and fructose, yet I've never had the slightest problem here: I've always been able to order dishes suited to my needs with complete peace of mind. The staff is extremely attentive to cross-contamination. The chef is extremely scrupulous in ensuring that every customer eats well and safely, and he is supported by a warm, knowledgeable, and always ready to accommodate your needs. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Each dish was a pleasant surprise, meticulously crafted in both presentation and flavor. The fried food was light and crispy, the meat tender and perfectly cooked, and the desserts were fresh and delicious, making for a wonderful end to the meal. The chef's warm welcome was also greatly appreciated. The service was impeccable: the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being intrusive. Another plus is the value for money: considering the quality of the ingredients, the attention to detail, the service, and such a charming location, the price is absolutely fair and perfectly in line with the experience offered.

16/08/2026: The staff were friendly, courteous, helpful, polite, and helpful. Davide was the best! The bathroom was clean, and with the renovation, the place looked brand new, as if it had just been bought. Excellent location, with a sea view.

09/08/2026: A lovely place for Sunday lunch with the family. The seafood risotto and fish soup were delicious as was the local white wine. The service was particularly good. Our waitress was so attentive and keen to make sure we had a good experience. The seafood salad was seafood in a mayonnaise sauce which was a bit confusing but otherwise excellent!

15/07/2026: The art retreat week in Chiaraluce was simply wonderful. The place, the hosts, the house, the meals, dogs and cats and views - all was so heartwarming. Chiaraluce is the place where to relax your mind and body, to enjoy life and to be happy! I would be glad to return there.

05/08/2026: Let's start by saying that I've been trying to eat at this restaurant for at least three years, but between being full and closed, I've never managed it. So finding a table... filled me with expectations!!! The atmosphere remains cold... perhaps it tries to give the impression of being sophisticated... but it didn't convey anything to me! There were two of us, and we ordered a tasting of cold appetizers (€18) for a plate with 7 compartments of fish samples. I won't say it was bad... no, but predictable. I would have expected something more special from the simple fish salad, two marinated anchovies? A salmon fillet with diced melon, a fish puree, and a salty cracker!!!!! The mussels in a stew (second appetizer) were very generous for a portion, but they had no flavor, they didn't taste of onion, lemon, or rosemary... bland! The gnocchi with arugula pesto, with corn on the cob, were very good... It's a shame the arugula remains bitter and makes the dish a bit sour!! The grilled fish was very good: sea bream with potatoes, cherry tomatoes, and Taggiasca olives. A place I won't be returning to.
