I will never return to this place Not recommended I am replying to the owner From the outside it is a modest place, in a residential area but not of value, nor embellished nor with a lake view or anything else, I expected the usual bar pub, and from the menu that you proposed to us in which the hamburgers ranged from 10.90 to 12.50 euros with side dish, the pizzas from 7.50 to 14 euros, a slice of beef 23 euros the prices confirmed the expectations, but when outside the menu I am told that it is possible to have something else, in this case we asked for a salad and a chicken breast, it seems to me that even on Saturdays they are prices outside the market, and in any case you should have correctly indicated the price to the consumer before the table service, not even in Como do I pay similar figures not even on Saturdays. And a few meters from you behind the church, without naming names, a place similar to yours with restaurant service for the same dishes I paid 30 euros, it seems a more than fair price to me. 11/05/2025: Location for aperitifs in the center of Gallarate with outdoor tables. The choice of drinks is good, a few more beers wouldn't hurt but the choice is still wide and of good quality. Large and satisfying aperitif buffet. Ok service without too many frills.

01/06/2025: We had breakfast on the terrace. There were 7 of us. The service was quick. The homemade orange juice and the coffee were excellent. The pastries were also very good. The waitresses were very kind and the prices were reasonable.

30/05/2025: Beware of fraud! We made a reservation at the restaurant to have a good meal. The food was excellent and the taste was top-notch! We can't complain at all. Unfortunately, the surroundings weren't great. They tried to scam us. We asked if there was parking available for visitors/guests of the restaurant. There was, and we parked our car there. On the bill for the meal, we saw that €15 had been charged for parking. However, the parking lot sign stated in Italian that the parking space was reserved for guests (see photo I uploaded). After discussing this with the waiter, who then asked the manager, I also asked the other guests around us if they had to pay for parking. They all said no, because the parking space was reserved for guests. Only we were charged the €15. After back and forth and discussion, the €15 was removed from the bill, and we paid and left. Upstairs at the exit, the manager (his name is Silvio Battistoni) came towards us and cursed and insulted us. We tried calmly to explain that it was unfair why we had to pay for parking while all the other guests didn't. He simply said that everyone had to pay and that we should just ask the others. I told him that I had actually done that, and the answer was that they didn't have to pay. He got angry and didn't know what to say and just said that because we had a "supercar," we should pay the price. If we had the money for a "supercar," then we had to pay the €15. We tried to explain that it wasn't about the money, but that they were trying to rip us off. Why didn't everyone else have to pay and only we did because we had a "supercar" (his words)? He threw us out and slammed the door. Unfortunately, a very unpleasant experience. Because the food and the atmosphere were top-notch! It was really great. But having to try to cheat someone out of €15 while all the other guests don't have to pay is a real shame.

04/05/2025: Ci saremmo aspettati qualcosa di meglio, partendo dalla location ferma a trent’anni fa, servizio decisamente non perfetto e non al livello in cui si vogliono piazzare, cucina anonima, semplice, nulla che abbia quel qualcosa in più… unica nota positiva gli entreè e il dolce. A Varese ci sono altri ristoranti dove mangiare meglio.

08/06/2025: We were attracted here by the good reviews and the location of the place near Villa Panza. For lunch there is not much choice, there are 3 alternatives for a savoury brunch, 2 sweet. I had vegetable meatballs, passable with a side of courgettes. My husband had avocado toast with a side of potatoes. For dessert two pancakes with jam, very disappointing. The bill is a little expensive.

21/01/2025: Nel percorso verso la Multimedica di Castellanza, ci imbattiamo in questa pasticceria / caffetteria in una piazzola accanto ad un comodo parcheggio. Devo confessarvi che siamo stati attirati da un signore che usciva felice con un cabaret di paste e ci siamo lasciati contagiare provando a fare colazione. Devo dire: ottima! Ottimi i cappucci ed ottime le brioche. Parcheggio davanti. Cosa chiedere di più?
