18/08/2025: A lovely place in the center of Gallarate, in the pedestrian area, where you can enjoy excellent beer and appetizers. A bit small, but in the summer they also have outdoor seating.
The chalkboard menu features excellent burgers, but I was there for an aperitivo.
14/07/2025: I found it somewhat by chance, and was immediately struck by the interior decor and the friendly owners. The pub has a strong pirate theme, with dark, welcoming colors. The menu offers a good selection, especially alcoholic beverages, and the attentive and helpful service immediately put me at ease. Prices are reasonable for a downtown pub. The burgers are quite good, and the platters are generous and perfect for an aperitif or appetizer. I'll definitely be back.

15/11/2025: Aesthetically, it's nothing special, a warehouse with a sales area upstairs and, I assume, courses too... Wide selection, with promotions that are sometimes excellent, while others are similar to what you find elsewhere...

06/10/2025: I've been going to Barley for a while now, and I admit I went there for the variety of beer they offer... I later discovered it's a really interesting place. The guys are always very friendly and help you choose drinks to suit your tastes perfectly. The food isn't bad either, a place to spend a pleasant evening, alone or with friends!!! 🔝
22/09/2025: Excellent selection of craft beers, there's something for everyone! The staff is very friendly and helpful.
We really enjoyed the pulled pork croquettes, a real treat! I'd love to come back to try the burgers.

10/11/2025: A splendid restaurant overlooking Lake Lugano, serving Chinese, Japanese, and Italian cuisine. Buffet appetizers and the option of fresh fish and meat cooked to order.
31/10/2025: Poor food, nonexistent "seafood" pizza, watery because everything was frozen. Service, can you give it a zero? They came by twice to ask if we'd ordered even though we'd already ordered. They left the menu card, which a "waitress" later came by to bring with an arrogance I've never seen. Customers pass behind me to get food (there's a conveyor belt with food containers, even for self-service), and I have to be careful every time so I don't fall on my head.

03/11/2025: There were 4 of us at dinner, 3 of which were different, and they arrived at the table 10 minutes after we ordered. When we asked if they were reheated and ready, we were told there were 10 chefs in the kitchen, too bad the dishes got cold after a short while!!! The icing on the cake was that we ordered coffees right afterward, and the staff kindly asked if we could leave the table in the next 10 minutes!!!!
27/10/2025: A welcoming place with young staff who make you feel at home. Truly generous and high-quality dishes. Competitive prices and delicious menu. Don't go if you're on a diet 😂
Dogs are very welcome.
We'll be back.

01/11/2025: A place from my adolescence, I still go there every now and then when I can, the beers and food are DIVINE, for me one of the best pubs in Lombardy, I recommend it
23/10/2025: Quaint place. Very nice. Excellent beer. Too bad the sandwich is one of the worst I've ever had. It tasted like old bread reheated in the microwave...even the prosciutto was cooked inside. Minimal filling. Too bad.

08/11/2025: A small and cozy shop in Luino, where you can choose from their wine selection or ask for advice from the owner, a charming and polite (and professional) person. You can buy wines, as well as other products they sell, such as teas, chocolates, and artisanal sweets... and for Christmas, they have some delicious treats! There's also a small outdoor terrace. A visit is a must... and a glass of wine is essential!

23/10/2025: We have vegan croissants, gluten-free desserts, delicious things of all kinds... but what's the problem with buying lactose-free milk? I go to this bar practically every day... yesterday I went to ask for a lactose-free or vegan chocolate and no, it wasn't there... but I wonder, it's 2025... how many lactose intolerant people are there? You certainly don't risk throwing away a liter of milk, you buy it and when someone needs it comes "here it is, yes, we have it" and then if you make a soy cappuccino you can also make hot chocolate... but details, I hope to change this review to a 5-star one.

11/11/2025: In October, I happened to pass by the little town where this pastry shop is located. It's unacceptable that a bar in the middle of nowhere in a small town in the Varese moors has prices comparable to those of Piazza di Spagna in Rome. I paid €6 for a cappuccino and muffin. Madness!
The cappuccino was good, but the muffin wasn't; it was damn dry, with no cream or chocolate inside, and it was tiny.
I really don't recommend it, considering the prices...
OH, I FORGOT! EVEN THOUGH IT'S EXPENSIVE, THEY DON'T OFFER TABLE SERVICE. YOU HAVE TO LINE UP AT THE COUNTER AND CARRY YOUR OWN TRAY TO THE TABLE. PLEASE!?!?!
05/11/2025: The chestnut glazed croissants are delicious...I bought eight and brought them to Morocco. They were a success...will you make them in December too? Please!
