18/04/2026: I had the opportunity to visit this location last night for work and friends, making a last-minute reservation.
I really enjoyed it. The dishes were excellent and beautifully presented (considering we're in the industry), and the staff was truly friendly and helpful.
The place was very tidy and clean, with excellent hospitality and service.
I definitely recommend this restaurant and will be back soon!

06/05/2026: Beautiful and delicious experience... warm, typically Roman atmosphere, excellent dishes, close to those eaten in Rome... friendly, friendly but professional staff, well done
05/05/2026: Really not very good. Pasta too much al dented in a lake of tomato sauce. Possibly the same sauce used for the meat course. This was huge and the oxtail tough, it needed at least another hour of cooking. The lamb was definitely sheep - very old animals.

08/03/2026: Good pastries, but the service is poor and the space is disorganized. I waited 15 minutes for a cappuccino, and even though it was busy, the place didn't warrant that long a wait (out of four people behind the counter, only one was actively working).

Because of its small size, you'll have to wait in line for quite a while, but if you have the extra time, it's worth it.

21/04/2026: Rossi is one of Milan's best chefs. The cuisine is exquisite, and the must-try dishes (fried tripe, veal with tuna sauce, and tagliatelle Alfredo) are a must-try on your first visit. Behind the enjoyment lie ingenious, almost improvised dishes, crafted with the instinct of someone who knows how to use great ingredients, yet seemingly simple ingredients, to create top-notch textures, temperatures, and pairings. A special mention goes to the service, as the welcome is excellent and the staff are an extra treat.

But the staff are not friendly at all!
From the hosts at the door to the waiters i didn’t like their attitude.
We had to make a reservation and add the credit card but right after arrival we had to wait 20min to get our table.
So what’s the reason of booking in advance if we need to wait to get our table be ready.
For this amount of price I guess at least we need to get a good service.

02/05/2026: I rarely leave reviews, but Osteria Fara is an outstanding restaurant. We loved it so much we went 2 nights in a row, and not surprisingly another family we recognized the first night came back the 2nd night just like us. The food is THAT GOOD.
First, the staff is so charming. Very friendly and they remember you. They offered complimentary prosecco and fresh focaccia fresh out of the oven that was to die for!
We’ve had the artichoke salad, tortellini with truffle, paccheri fara (such a unique flavor) swordfish scicilian style, grilled swordfish, and tiramisu.
The prices are so reasonable - esp compared to other restaurants next door. I highly recommend it.
28/04/2026: An underrated restaurant. On our last day in Milan, we arrived unexpectedly and left with a perfect experience. The aperitif, delicious bread rolls, and seafood pasta for two were better and more flavorful than what we had in Venice. This place deserves a much higher rating!
