21/08/2023: What a shame ! Arrived at the aesthetically pleasing Olde England restaurant escaping a thunder storm with my wife on our last night in the beautiful Cernobbio and made our way to the bar. After being abruptly told to leave the bar area and sit! (like a dog) by a very disdainful, unmannerly barman with his arm thrusted out towards a table, we took our seats and waited to be served. (We later realised he was the manager/owner) He then came over and took our order with such condesecension and a hugely inconvenienced attitude and look upon his face. After answering all of our questions about the selection of wines they might have with 'no' or scoffing at us, we uncomfortably ordered something we knew to eleviate the awkward and utterly disrespectful situation. We then proceeded to witness the same awful level of customer service with 2 more patrons before asking for our bill and leaving. Luckily we were served by another member of staff this time who put the initial staff member to shame with his appropriate conduct.

21/04/2025: Abbiamo festeggiato la Pasquetta con un pranzo di ottima qualità. Servizio impeccabile, vini di produzione propria che si fanno ricordare. Accoglienza familiare fatta di gentilezza e di un Resling renano, metodo martinotti, di pregio. Grazie

15/12/2024: Di solito ordiniamo la pizza qui con consegna a domicilio e ci siamo trovato bene le ultime volte così così e stasera penso proprio il peggio...pizze ordinate presto e arrivate con più 30 minuti di ritardo buone ma fredde e gommose come se fossero state fatte appunto mezz'ora prima e lasciate lì in attesa,patatine fritte orrende sembra quasi olio esausto .

19/05/2024: Locale piccolo molto accogliente e rilassante, personale gentilissimo, piatti molto buoni, seitan al limone e cous cous deliziosi.
