04/06/2024: Even on a rainy day the experience was very positive, as soon as you arrive the owner of everything welcomes you with cordiality and sympathy, in reality it's all a family environment, husband and wife, Excellent lunch, everything perfect from starter to dessert. Will be back to eat out, thanks again

11/05/2024: A place to enjoy food in a very simple and informal environment with more than reasonable costs. It is important to book and remember that the restaurant is only open for lunch.

03/07/2024: We did not like this place. Service was not good: unfriendly lady making sure she had the biggest difficulty in understanding my best attempt at speaking Italian (which worked perfectly anywhere else in Rome so far), and she wouldn't even try to make life easier trying a bit of English. Ordered a torta caprese: very bad and try, probably sitting there for days. Just pass by this place and go somewhere else.

02/07/2024: An incredibly cute bar. Sandwiches, cakes, beer, hot and cold drinks. Orange and carrot juice. We paid 12 euros for two cakes, a focaccia sandwich, an espresso and a soda. cheap

22/08/2023: High quality products with attention to ingredients. Fantastic both from a taste and quality point of view. I recommend the bread, all of it, but the sciapo, the bread with walnuts, is particularly fantastic. The pizza with walnuts, the one with corn. Wine biscuits and all the other desserts.

25/08/2024: All I have left is to thank the asteroid that made the dinosaurs extinct which turned into fossils which would then be converted into fuel used to refuel the buses that brought the cement used to build the hospital where the owner of this place. I've never had the chills of eating a croissant. Simply compliments.

16/07/2024: Place with a few tables in the EUR gardens area. We were there for lunch. The menu offers the possibility to choose from a wide range of freshly made sandwiches or a rice salad or couscous that can be assembled to your liking. There were 4 of us, we split 5 sandwiches and a basmati rice salad. Very good sandwiches! With a bottle of wine and a Spritz we paid a total of around 60 euros. Attentive and smiling service. Super recommended if you are in the EUR area

10/06/2024: Beautiful place a stone's throw from the Eur lake where you have the opportunity to eat outside. We took two very good sandwiches, but the Sicilian was truly a wonderful discovery, delicious!! Too bad about the supplì of the week (with basil pesto and dried tomatoes), the flavor was very good but it was a little behind in cooking (the mozzarella inside was still cold). Really excellent value for money given the location of the place. We will definitely be back to try the aperitif formula which intrigued us a lot.

09/08/2024: Me and my girlfriend when to a couple different places to eat whilst in Rome but came back to this because no food could beat it. They all claimed to have the best food but personally this was. The staff was friendly and bent over backwards to help us. He saw us using a power bank he lent us his charger was a highlight.

31/07/2024: Had a great late lunch/early dinner at Bar Sistina today (July 31). We had Aperol Spritz and a couple of beers for drinks . For food, we had bruschetta to start followed with mushroom pasta and eggplant parmesan. The bruschetta was amazing! The pasta and the eggplant were great as well. We joked with staff and had a great time! It was like going to your uncle's for dinner and being entertained by him and your cousins. Yes, it looks like a hole in the wall, but the inside looked great. We sat outside to take in the experience. Don't let the small seating area outside and exterior fool you, I felt at home in this place!

23/07/2024: A place that is good. For me, the part of the pasta in other restaurants was enjoyed more then we were left with this feeling of something else. The prices are reasonable and this is to be kept in mind

20/07/2024: Squili is a house. And like any home, you find in the fridge and drawers the favorite things that one would like to find. From Italian, European and American breakfast, lunch, superb ice cream in the afternoon as well as an aperitif or quality dinner. I have been going there with my wife and son for years now. Always friendly and welcoming. They can satisfy your every culinary desire. Authentic Amatriciana? It fits, and it's sensational too. Homemade ice cream? There is. Well made cocktail? There is. The research into the quality of raw materials makes them authentic, every day. Forever. A warranty. Admirable. Well done!!!

11/08/2024: We stumbled upon this place by chance, we read the other reviews and we went there, we already sat down from what the waitress asked, I had some doubts when asked what do you eat, we answered pizza and the waitress asks us but round? We answer yes, taking it for granted in a pizza restaurant with a wood oven that made round pizzerias, after 40 minutes we received our pizzas, it was 7.30pm when we arrived before us there was only an American couple with two children, and ok, let's ignore the wait, the best one arrives, we get some rectangular pizzas, let's ignore even the one full of toppings, a mixture of toppings that we can't even understand the flavours, we eat without any fuss, when I ask for the bill I point out to the waitress very politely that this would be the case to say that they make "pinse" and not round pizzas because I could very well decide to eat something else and the waitress replies but they are not pinse but Neapolitan pizza which has nothing Neapolitan at all she brings me the bill I go in to pay because I hear from the room the waitress who reported my feedback to the pizza chef I went in and I was answered and since '64 we have been making them like this no one has ever complained I speak as a pizza chef I reply to the pizza chef yours is a pinsa not a Neapolitan as you say pizza at my house Neapolitan and round with a cornice, let alone a Roman one, yours is a pinsa! And you managers can only work with foreigners who come down from the airport! Or change pizza chef and write restaurant pinseria because that's what you are.

17/08/2024: Excellent welcoming, exquisite owners, always excellent service, excellent menu, there are always new things to recommend, I definitely don't and won't help but return, as a former employee I will always come back 💕💕💕
