04/05/2024: Super good dinner. Characteristic and beautiful place. Savored a tasting plate for 2, with different specialties, all really good. The goulash exceptional. The dessert equally good. Deserving house wine... Antonella super professional, very kind and very nice... closed the dinner with Terrano bitters and a plum brandy... highly recommended place and staff...

23/03/2024: Super good, tasty and super stuffed sandwiches. Fried foods and carefully prepared dishes. Excellent state-of-the-art draft beers. Good atmosphere (as they say in Trieste). The place is always full and you wait a bit for the food because everything is freshly prepared, then the real cooked ham with the hand-cut bone is truly a gem. And the prices are great

02/03/2024: Unfortunately, one cannot live for long on income from past glory. Waiters who bump into you while serving, bland risotto, bad wine. Prices a little high for the environment and quality, another place ruined by Trieste tourism.

12/05/2024: Very good food. The raw appetizers were exquisite. Afterwards we had the marinara risotto for two which was not very filling.
The staff is a little slow. We solicited 3 different waiters towards the end for dessert and the bill.
Honest prices.

07/04/2024: We went on Easter Sunday for a large family lunch, there were 12 of us. The service was attentive, thoughtful, kind and patient.
Even though the place was full inside and out.
We ate very well. The dishes prepared and presented with care. The starters are very good. The mix of fish is excellent and light!
Excellent desserts.
The place is clean and tidy despite limited spaces. Clean facilities!!
A truly enjoyable lunch!

07/04/2024: I had booked a table for 1pm.
We arrived slightly early as it was raining.
We didn't get off to a great start...when we entered they snubbed us a bit, but once we were seated, everything changed. It feels like we've gone back in time. Courteous staff, good food, not a cheap place.
We took 2 typical local soups, 1 bottle of water, a rather small glass of wine and 2 coffees.
06/04/2024: We didn't eat here. It reminded me of the bar in Cézanne's famous painting. Fabulous atmosphere. Also houses a book shop.

Small, but very nice with some tables outside.
The coffee is of absolute excellence.
Excellent classic desserts with plenty of room for imagination....
The service was accurate.
Prices are high, but in line with other places of the same level.
29/03/2024: Sacher very good and the girl at the counter really kind; single portion "Sole" ricotta, lemon and salted caramel, particular and tasty.

08/05/2024: We have visited first time Osteria Ai Maestri Trieste, staff was very friendly, English and German speaking. Food was really lovely, pasta and rombo also. I can fully recomend. Looking forward for next visit:-).

Warm, only 16 seats. Very good typical cuisine, very kind.
Typical dishes done well and delicious.
