The staff is friendly and helpful, although during peak hours the wait can be slightly longer than expected. Sandwiches: Tasty and well-filled, with good quality ingredients. The bread was fragrant, although perhaps I would have preferred it to be slightly crispier. Fried foods: Excellent and crispy, not greasy, a sign of good frying. The portions are generous. Desserts: Delicious, especially [name of a particular dessert if there was one]. The only flaw: the choice was a bit limited. Beers: Excellent selection of craft and classic beers. The menu offers an interesting variety, with options for all tastes. It would be perfect if there were more suggestions for pairing with food. The prices are in line with the quality offered. Not cheap, but not excessive either. The quality-price ratio is fair, considering the freshness of the ingredients. A perfect place for a night out with friends, with a good balance between quality of food, choice of beers and atmosphere. A few small improvements could make it even better, but it is definitely a place where I would gladly return. ➡ Recommended for those looking for a pub with good food, a wide choice of beers and a welcoming atmosphere.

11/04/2025: Super welcoming, warm and familiar place. There are many choices on the menu, the portions are generous and the dishes tasty. Good range of beers available. The owner also has a very nice aperitif/winery/cocktail place nearby, that one was closed but upon request they still made us a noteworthy White Russian!!

13/12/2024: Very nice pub in one of the most characteristic alleys of Benevento. The selection of beers on offer is truly remarkable, the idea of ​​the monitor with relative ranking is nice. The proposed menu is also very good, with excellent quality raw materials used. The only comment I feel like expressing is the excessive slowness in preparation: before you can eat you have to wait quite a while, perhaps too long.

24/03/2025: A super appreciated place in Benevento and it's easy to understand why. The welcome is really sunny, the kindness of all the staff is exemplary. The food and the beers are top, from the cutting board to the bruschetta. It will be the first of many times, without a doubt.

06/12/2024: Every time I return to the city a stop at Gnostro is a must!!! .. The atmosphere is always warm and inviting and the staff is friendly and attentive, making every visit a real pleasure.. their search for details is truly that something extra that differentiates it from all the usual anonymous and identical places .. never stop Gnostro!!!!!

The atmosphere you breathe, the music you listen to, the food you eat... everything takes you back to a wonderful time... an experience to try! Excellent value for money. 11/05/2025: We were returning from a long trip and were looking for a place to get take-away sandwiches, we were near Benevento and the navigator recommended this place to us. We called and ordered 2 Harry Potter sandwiches. Once we got there the girl gave us the envelope and showed us the bill, which in our opinion seemed a little expensive for two takeaway sandwiches, however, a bit hungry and tired from the long journey, we didn't object and, a little perplexed, we paid. Once in the car, and having taken our 2 sandwiches, we notice the presence of a third box, containing another Harry Potter sandwich. At that point we understand the reason for that high bill, and after eating the two exaggeratedly good sandwiches, we couldn't leave it there, so we competed to decide which of the two should eat it. We devoured it in a very short time and now I can't tell you if the girl was aware of our hunger or there was a misunderstanding during the order. In any case, it went well for us and if there had been a fourth at least we wouldn't have argued. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

11/05/2025: Quiet dinner for two people. Harry Potter style fairytale setting. The table assigned to us was a little cramped. Good quality food even if the plate was very small and could not contain the sandwich's condiment. The service offered was a little too hasty. Wide choice of sandwiches and beers both on tap and in bottles. Prices a little above average. Overall good to try again. (Sandwiches also gluten-free)

22/03/2025: I come from Tuscany and I was completely shocked by the "Carbocrema Beerbante" for me it was an absolute revelation, try it if you can. It is a bucatini omelette with egg, pecorino cream and guanciale. EXTRAORDINARY. A bit of everything actually was, the guys, all very young and happy to be there even though they were at work, made me feel at home. In general in Tuscany we are not used to such large portions and fairly honest prices, I also had a plate of BBQ Ribs, and I'll post the photo that speaks for itself. More than a plate! It's a boat! The service was also very fast and the guys despite being easy-going were really very attentive to every need, thank you so much! I'm attaching photos because they deserve it.
