After amazing and heavy dinner I was looking for exceptional drinks!I came her and asked guys at the bar to make me a nice drink, the drink came beyond my expectations. Absolutely delicious. 06/08/2024: Anna is amazing. She makes you feel right at home and we'll cared for. She knew a lot of her customers by name and talked to them as well as the little kids that came into the shop. The food was great and she explained the menu well for those of use that needed a translator. Great experience for sure. There are many pasta options and more.

05/08/2024: Excellent food, spectacular service, and beautiful restaurant. The staff treated us like family, the food was fresh and delicious, and the restaurant was nice and cool. Would absolutely recommend making a stop here if you are in Naples. Just a few minutes away from the train station, it’s also very convenient. Loved it!!!

26/08/2024: I'm sorry for the delay on this review but this review deserves my full sit-down attention I celebrated a very special birthday here just over a week ago and for someone who has been in the hospitality life for a very long time I can truly say with confidence this is the most wonderful and charming night I have ever had at a restaurant. A family run restaurant which has been in operation for over 100 years is now in the wonderful hands of the 4 charming brothers of the family. Each one of them came over to introduce themselves at different points throughout the night and when encouraged by us they proudly walked us through their family history and how they all became who they are today, everyone have their own special skills within the business, wine connoisseur, head chef, guest relations, business man, the godfther of the farm and so on Fresh ingredients from their family farm/gardens and their local fishing boats delivered straight to your plate there is no better way to enjoy great food. We opted for the full experience so we went for the tasting menu which did not disappoint!! Each dish being walked through and explained with such passion and pride it honestly just brought pure joy to my heart and clearly the experience I had been urning my whole life, every attention to our table was delivered with a genuine smile and such care, everyone who works here are clearly very proud of who/where they work. ( Big shout out to the Nieces ❤️) Good luck with Uni 🤞 Each dish beautifully presented and busting with flavour, just so much love went into every dish I do honestly wish we took more photos but we were so happily wrapped up in the experience and the family vibes we barely looked at our phones or thought to take pictures. ( This is what you call a perfect night and how a dining experience should be ) Pre drinks on the terrace was idealic and the view over the Amalfi coast is definitely my favorite romantic way to start of any night. We ended up staying 3 hours past closing and cancelled our other reservation somewhere else for late drinks, once you found what felt like home why go anywhere else. They even gave us a lift back into town once they closed down, if I didn't have a ferry first thing in the morning I would have gone out with the rest of the team ( you are all such wonderful humans 💜) The full experience of the family mixed with the service was truly spectacular and I really wish I was apart of this family ❣️ Especially after hearing how they celebrate their Christmas! I wish nothing but truly great things for the entire family and I'll definitely be booking another Amalfi trip soon just so I can hangout with the family again. Good luck with the farm, the restaurant and the hotel save me a room because I'm coming back! Oh and the Negroni is truly to die for! Much love Chloe & Ollie 💕

05/08/2024: A bit of a wait looking at the kitchen visible from the street. Very good, very multilingual service. Extraordinary wine list (150+ references!) and alcohols (great single malts and rums). And excellent cuisine. A little cramped but charming. Very good address.

17/08/2024: Wonderful day!! Luigi was so funny and made the experience extra special! We started with mozzarella and focaccia tasting the different olive oils. We then made our pizza dough…. Added toppings and then watched the pizza bake in the wood burning pizza oven, great day!

17/08/2024: we had a fantastic time. I know you will hesitate at the price, but it’s well worth it. Very memorable and fun. Follow their directions when it comes to toppings and cheese. :-) Great time.

10/08/2024: A place you cannot miss. You have to stop!!! It's for gourmets!!!! Wines, cheeses, charcuterie, sweets. Many products are from the earth. We ate very well. If you are a gourmet and want to let your finger go to choose cheeses, sausages, meats, skewers, desserts and..., you have everything at the entrance in a counter that is very fun!!!!

02/08/2024: My family and I stayed in a villa just 100 meters down the road from La Taverna for 7 nights. We ate at La Taverna Del Leone 4 times during our trip, as we liked it that much. We found it to be the best out of all meals we had in Italy and we dined in Naples, Positano, Capri, and Ravello. The service is unmatched and the food and wine are stellar.

26/07/2024: The extreme quality of their pizzas is surprising. The best we have had after 8 days in Italy and passing through Rome and Naples (no less). Baked with whole wheat flour, in a wood-fired oven and with a buffalo mozzarella base. Awesome. Incredible winery and attentive service Worth

03/08/2024: Superbe journée. 30e les transats et déjeuner sur place. Poulpe grillé délicieux, tiramisu également et pas cher (5e). Un spritz avec une vue imprenable sur la baie de maronti. Taxi boat pour aller et venir depuis san't angelo.
