10/06/2026: I'm back and I'd like to give it top marks not only for the raw fish, the grilled fish, and the grilled vegetables, but also for the new dishes I tried, such as the seafood cured meats and honeycomb with a scoop of ice cream. The welcome was warm, and the service was very professional and impeccable.
A combination of elegant and rustic dining areas, both on the ground floor and upstairs, all elegantly set. The impeccable and professional service, starting with the welcome, deserves special mention. The dinner featured seafood dishes, where the freshness and quality of the ingredients predominated. The mixed hot, cold, and raw seafood appetizers, including shellfish, oysters, and tartare, were beautifully presented and exquisite. The mezzé paccheri with fish and shrimp were excellent, the grilled platter with tender swordfish, prawns, and squid was sensational, and the swordfish rolls with scamorza cheese were delicious. We enjoyed a delicate Critone Librandi white wine and concluded the meal with a platter of delicious desserts. The price was in line with the location and the exquisite dishes.
26/05/2026: A lovely rediscovery, excellent fish dishes. Next time I'll go to the gliglieria, the spaghetti alla corte d'assise is a wonderful must.

10/08/2026: It's August, the height of summer. At ten to one, they tell me the outdoor seating is about to close... Shame on you, in Soverato and other summer hotspots they stay open until 4 or 5 in the morning... Plus, the waiters are all grumpier than the last.

17/07/2026: Amazing true local cuisine, eat what the Italians of Calabria eat. Rapini, fagioli, fish dishes, pastas, sandwichs, pizza and more. Most of the customers were locals on their lunch break. We will be back for sure.

04/07/2026: Traveling from Reggio Calabria to Locri, in the first days of July, and not finding any restaurant open for lunch, we happened upon "All' antica ricetta", a welcome with a big smile, a traditional place that makes you feel all the warmth of Calabria, dishes from truly ancient recipes, exquisite rabbit, spaghetti with seafood that leaves you speechless, very fresh vegetables, what can I say, highly recommended, thank you for your welcome🤗

You can enjoy gluten-free gelato with practically every flavor except those that obviously contain cookies: this is a privilege offered by Villa Arangea, as many others force you to choose from only a few flavors. Excellent location, right off the highway. Highly recommended for a taste of their deliciousness!
