09/11/2025: We were in Calabria for 24 hours, yet we ate at Osteria San Francesco twice. A friend recommended this restaurant to us, and I have to say it was one of the most beautiful and authentic experiences I'll ever remember in this region. The restaurant, run by two brothers, is small but very welcoming. The food is amazing, and Francesco is a truly friendly person. What I also really appreciated was the atmosphere in this restaurant: there are only a few seats, and the people at the various tables chat as if they've known each other forever. 19/10/2025: If you want to enjoy an excellent food and wine experience and be sure of a great meal, I highly recommend La Fabbrica. We've been going there for years, and it still manages to surprise us every time: expertly selected wines, rare cheeses, and dishes that combine tradition and creativity with an obsessive attention to quality. Alessandro, the owner, is a true ambassador of taste, always ready to recommend perfect pairings. Here, the ingredients truly take center stage, and having them in Vibo Valentia is a real blessing!

18/10/2025: Super delicious food and a really nice atmosphere – modern and industrial, yet still warm and inviting. The burgers and meat dishes were perfect, the wine was excellent, and the advice was top-notch. The fries and polenta sticks, in particular, are something different – ​​really good! You can tell the team puts in the effort. We'll definitely be back!

30/10/2025: The best value for money pizza in Tropea. The owner is very nice and the service is great. I can only recommend it. (The pizza is not Neapolitan style.)

01/11/2025: ...it's more than a hotel, it's also a museum where a computer scientist finds himself in his own world. I regret the lack of beach bungalows, which adds to the unique experience. The food is also excellent; I suggest improving the breakfast selection, even though it's still plentiful. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely return.

19/10/2025: Lunch. Good quality food and fresh fish. The swordfish was excellent; my favorite dish. The table service was good, but there's always room for improvement. The location was lovely, but what made everything even more enjoyable was the pianist's entertainment. Mr. Pupa Gabriele, the pianist, created a welcoming, pleasantly convivial, and elegant atmosphere.

19/09/2025: This was the best food experience I had during my two-week vacation in Pizzo! The food, the service & the atmosphere were more than perfect. I really enjoyed everything about this place. I can‘t wait to come back!!

19/09/2025: wonderful service, wonderful food and wonderful atmosphere, after 2 weeks in pizzo, i think this is probably the best restaurant here. ate here on the last evening of our vacation and the only negative thing i can think of is not coming to this restaurant earlier. the truffle pasta was so good i almost cried (no, really). thank you so much and until the next time.

09/11/2025: We ate with friends, everything was delicious and reasonably priced. The owners were friendly and very kind, I met the pastry chef Angelo and I must say he is very sweet. Overall, I highly recommend it.

08/11/2025: A really lovely restaurant! The owner is incredibly friendly and gives you a warm welcome. Delicious food at a fair price. The location isn't entirely accurate on Maps, which is why we didn't find it right away, but it's well worth the effort.

19/10/2025: “Incipit” is almost a hidden gem, tucked away from the busy High Street and tourist-heavy areas. This spot comes highly recommended by locals — and for good reason. It has a gorgeous outdoor terrace with views over the piazza, but the real wow factor comes when you choose to dine indoors… in the cave! Yes, a beautifully lit, cosy cave with an incredible atmosphere that makes the whole experience feel special. The service was exceptional — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The menu is fantastic, offering a perfect mix of local favourites and creative twists. We went all out and enjoyed the full experience: antipasto, primo, and secondo. The tuna tartare was outstanding, bursting with freshness and flavour. I had the Fileja al ’Nduja ragu, which was absolutely mind-blowing — and high on my Calabria culinary wish list. My partner chose the hazelnut risotto, which was equally exceptional. For mains, I had the pistachio-crusted seabass while my partner had the cod — both dishes beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. Highly recommended if you want an authentic, high-quality dining experience away from the tourist traps. Grazie mille per il fantastico servizio 🙏👌👏

30/10/2025: We tried some excellent pasta dishes, especially the langoustine and truffle pasta. The portions were a bit small. The service was good, and there was a decent wine list. It's a bit pricey for the area; the restaurant doesn't exactly have sea views. If you look at the price photos from a few months ago, some dishes have gone up by 20%.

31/08/2025: Lunch with friends: the place is welcoming, although it tends to be quite noisy when it reaches its maximum capacity. The staff was extremely kind and available to accommodate our requests. Good quality fish, the only reservation being the mixed seafood salad: compared to the other dishes, it was the least impressive. The seafood risotto was excellent, as was the linguine with clams.
