This is a historic bakery, and it shows in the quality of their products and the way they treat their customers. It was a great experience, and I'll definitely be back.

18/11/2025: A sure thing. The winning menu is more or less always the same, so if you find something you like, just come back and savor the cooking and flavors again. But the new and off-menu options will always amaze you. The wines are top-quality, and the owner recommends them.

01/11/2025: ...it's more than a hotel, it's also a museum where a computer scientist finds himself in his own world. I regret the lack of beach bungalows, which adds to the unique experience. The food is also excellent; I suggest improving the breakfast selection, even though it's still plentiful. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely return.

19/10/2025: Lunch. Good quality food and fresh fish. The swordfish was excellent; my favorite dish. The table service was good, but there's always room for improvement. The location was lovely, but what made everything even more enjoyable was the pianist's entertainment. Mr. Pupa Gabriele, the pianist, created a welcoming, pleasantly convivial, and elegant atmosphere.

21/10/2025: Relaxing and intimate atmosphere. Attentive but unobtrusive service. Dishes inspired by the chef's imagination, skillfully utilizing local ingredients, especially fish.

19/09/2025: We chose San Domenico for our last evening here and it could not have been a better choice. We had the vegetarian degustation menu and even as someone who usually eats meat, it was amazing through and through. Each course was crafted with immense love and detail which was noticable with eye and tongue. Service was perfect, food was perfect - I'm still amazed a day later! What I liked especially was the indirect lighting on the outdoor terrace. It was a beautiful setting for an evening filled with good food and wine. We will absolutely come back!

09/11/2025: We ate with friends, everything was delicious and reasonably priced. The owners were friendly and very kind, I met the pastry chef Angelo and I must say he is very sweet. Overall, I highly recommend it.

08/11/2025: A really lovely restaurant! The owner is incredibly friendly and gives you a warm welcome. Delicious food at a fair price. The location isn't entirely accurate on Maps, which is why we didn't find it right away, but it's well worth the effort.

28/11/2025: Super nice owner, very accomodating! The arancinis and pizza were unexpectedly blah. A Thursday evening at about 1830, out of season being late November. We got the last of the arancinis, and our pizzas were made to order. But none were anything special. Dissapointingly. But, maybe it was our timing.

12/12/2025: December 12th I went with my friend to the Roma bar, the waiter was very kind and the price was very low, the quality of the product is very reliable, we recommend the dark chocolate and coconut yogurt and the fruit is delicious

19/10/2025: “Incipit” is almost a hidden gem, tucked away from the busy High Street and tourist-heavy areas. This spot comes highly recommended by locals — and for good reason. It has a gorgeous outdoor terrace with views over the piazza, but the real wow factor comes when you choose to dine indoors… in the cave! Yes, a beautifully lit, cosy cave with an incredible atmosphere that makes the whole experience feel special. The service was exceptional — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The menu is fantastic, offering a perfect mix of local favourites and creative twists. We went all out and enjoyed the full experience: antipasto, primo, and secondo. The tuna tartare was outstanding, bursting with freshness and flavour. I had the Fileja al ’Nduja ragu, which was absolutely mind-blowing — and high on my Calabria culinary wish list. My partner chose the hazelnut risotto, which was equally exceptional. For mains, I had the pistachio-crusted seabass while my partner had the cod — both dishes beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. Highly recommended if you want an authentic, high-quality dining experience away from the tourist traps. Grazie mille per il fantastico servizio 🙏👌👏

22/08/2025: Villa Arangea is truly a special place! The owners are wonderful, kind, and helpful, and you can immediately see how much passion they put into their work. They make you feel at home, always with a smile and a rare level of care. The pastry shop is also exceptional: delicious desserts, fresh and meticulously crafted, each one better than the last. Every time, it's a surprise, and it's hard to choose because you want to try them all! A place I wholeheartedly recommend, because it combines quality, hospitality, and a great deal of human warmth.
