05/04/2024: Restaurant on the marina in front of Castel dell'Ovo, excellent location, we ate outdoors and it was very pleasant. The dishes we had were exceptional: Sorrento style gnocchi and spaghetti with mussels, clams, crumbled taralli and almonds. For dessert we had a big babbà which was huge and good. Excellent value for money

05/04/2024: Delicate recipes and quality ingredients equal tasteful dishes! Zi Teresa is a posh choice for your days in Napoli next to the picturesque small port near the Forteza. Food is traditional, trattoria style with fish. However is too pricy and should be clever about your options to reach your budget. We ordered fried squid and prawns, spaghetti with promodoro salsa, capresse salad and anchovies.. all at 85€ for 4 people. Negative : the e-menu is not handy as it is within their internet page embedded and your can not navigate easily.

06/04/2024: Let me start by saying that my review is on the Gluten Free proposal which they praise from their website as follows: "Since its inception, over thirty years ago, the Panella oven has become the spokesperson for food inclusiveness, anticipating the needs of the market with the its line of gluten-free products. Even today, the daily commitment translates into the offer of a vast selection of breads suitable for those with particular dietary restrictions." Well, that's absolutely not the case. If you're looking for a Gluten free aperitif, look elsewhere. Here you can find little or nothing and that little will also be disappointing and extremely expensive. A mini tray with 2 small pizzas, 2 rustici, sandwich and 2 micro sandwiches vacuum-packed, heated in the microwave. You don't have to be a great chef to understand what the result could be! An inedible thing paid to weight of gold, €15!With the drink you reach €25 for an experience absolutely not to be repeated.

01/04/2024: We spent €236 of which more than 40 on bitters. So €50 each for food. Honest quality of food but really, nothing special, like a village restaurant. Inflated name, I don't recommend it unless you want to enjoy a beautiful view. “Vintage” interior furnishings. Waiters also friendly but in a hurry.

29/03/2024: Nothing special except the beautiful view. The starters were good, but I can't comment on the starters. The service is fast, excellent welcome and kindness. The lounge is chaotic, if it's all full you leave there with a bad headache.

06/04/2024: Expensive but you know that it is a tourist place. The most famous and oldest caffe.. I loved the espresso martini even though it costed 35€ still worth it.

03/04/2024: Even though I know how much a bad review can hurt, being a restaurateur myself, I nevertheless feel compelled to write it! Having a father, no longer able to travel, originally from Ascoli Piceno, and a mother eager to revisit the places linked to the love of her youth, we visited Ascoli on the Saturday before Easter! In this context, an inspection of one of the most beautiful squares in Italy, as it was also said at the time of the legendary Festivalbar, could not be missed: Piazza del Popolo! A little windy but beautiful day, so much so that you couldn't help but enjoy a good aperitif sitting in the most representative and historic restaurant in the place! Unfortunately we had to note that, apart from the long wait, given the turnout which would have made it acceptable, the service was absolutely not appropriate! Ordered a spritz with anisette, excellent among other things, and a white non-alcoholic bitter expressly and clearly ordered and reiterated to the waiter: without ice and if possible at room temperature! As already mentioned, after a relatively long waiting time, we were served my spritz and a red non-alcoholic bitter drowned in ice! I immediately pointed out the error to the young waiter, not the same one who took our order, and reiterated its importance several times. not of the color but of the temperature and ice factor of the soft drink, punctually we are served a white soft drink, correct, but again lost in a glass full of ice! Having pointed out again to the same young man that the drink had been requested several times without ice and possibly room temperature, I apologize for the repetitions but I want to convey the idea that the temperature of the drink which was intended for my mother was important, the waiter very rudely he mumbled something between his teeth and, having taken the glass of ice with a bit of soft drink inside, he brings us back, in a very shameless and rude way, the same thing after having removed the ice and therefore very cold! An episode which, due to a lack of style of a waiter who does not consider listening to be part of his job and not knowing that he is thus ruining the good name of a symbol of the city, ruined for me the good feeling that this square induces!
