27/09/2025: Really disgusting 🤢 absolutely terrible service, let's not even talk about the food, they don't even eat like this in the canteen... we waited to have drinks at the table, we ordered the assassina, truly inedible, very spicy, our eyes popped out🥵 and then the pizzas, very cold... truly speechless, highly not recommended🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢

02/10/2025: The restaurant presents itself with great ambitions, but the reality failed to live up to expectations, due to a completely unsustainable quality-price ratio. The cuisine, rather than surprising, left an impression of being small and uninspiring, with offerings that are unjustified by such an ambitious menu. The service, polite and attentive, remains the best aspect, even if not impeccable. In the end, one is left with the feeling of having paid for the idea rather than the substance.

22/10/2025: I've always had a good experience at this pastry shop. I've been there several times and have always had excellent pastries. Today, however, I tried two of their brioches. I'm not one to complain to waiters because I know it's not their fault, but the brioches were either from the day before or had some kind of problem. They tasted like chewing gum in my mouth. Today, unfortunately, was a terrible experience.

09/09/2025: Very bad cafe. Ordered coffee americano and got a cup with very little coffee in the bottom and a jug of hot water. Everything tasted like dishwater. The cake was nice but completely tasteless.

09/10/2025: Come turista, sono sentito davvero umiliato in questo bar. La proprietaria ci ha cacciati via. Addormentarmi sulla sedia, ma poi la proprietaria è venuta dirci che non potevamo dormire davanti al locale. È forse perché le abbiamo fatto fare brutta figura? sgradevole. As a tourist, I felt truly humiliated in this bar. The female owner kicked us out. I thought I was just tired after a long day of traveling, so on a friend's recommendation, we came here to have a coffee and rest for a while. I didn't expect to fall asleep on the chair, but then the owner came and told us we couldn't sleep in front of the shop. Was it because we embarrassed her? Did she feel ashamed? I never expected such an unpleasant attitude from a bar owner. We were customers, we paid for our drinks—so what if we accidentally fell asleep? What a ridiculous owner. As a tourist, I felt truly humiliated in this bar. The female owner kicked us out. 03/09/2025: Small but very pleasant Ocal. A good breakfast at a very reasonable price. Very good service, and especially the cappuccino and croissant were delicious. Highly recommended.

15/09/2025: Our favorite cafe in La Spezia. Delicious pastries and cappuccinos served by friendly people in a really cool spot.

24/08/2025: Fantastic pastry shop with very reasonable prices. I recommend the cream cannoli for €1.50.

22/10/2025: We had made reservations for 8:30 PM in the afternoon. At 8:20 PM, we were greeted by a very kind young lady who asked if we had made reservations. I said yes. She checked the reservations and said she couldn't find one, but it wasn't a problem because there were free tables. Meanwhile, she invited us into the dining room, which, in fact, was more than half full. We ordered seafood salad, risotto with cream of scampi, pasta for the child, and we decided on the second course later. We had water and a quart of white wine to drink. After 10 minutes I call the girl who welcomed us and I see her "running" between the tables to bring the dishes. I ask her again for water which arrives immediately afterwards with a very full glass of white wine and I tell her look we had ordered a quartino... the answer is we don't have 1/4 carafes we'll bring it like this.... in the meantime I see them setting up a table next to ours... after about 25 minutes from the order the seafood salad arrives and the pasta that we had asked to be brought out first doesn't even appear... in the meantime another couple arrives at the table we had set up next to them, they sit down and take their order... in the meantime I understand that something in the room is going wrong, 3 people argue heatedly with the person managing the room who gets up and leaves... the thing makes me suspicious... after about 40/45 minutes the pasta for our son finally arrives, we think it's done on purpose to bring out the first courses together with ours "it would have been a beautiful story but nothing" I urge the girl, she is very mortified and apologizing, he tells me that he will go to the kitchen to hurry up the exit. In the meantime, at the table next to ours, I see a risotto with scampi cream arriving and I think "now it will arrive for us too" but it won't be like that" in the end the risotto arrived at 10.15pm, almost 2 hours after ordering, we were still hungry but given the delay and the poor management of the kitchen we decide to leave and go eat something elsewhere. Reading other reviews, I note that the problem is very frequent so probably there is no desire to improve.

29/10/2025: In the past few years, my husband and I have often gone to this café/pastry shop for breakfast and have always enjoyed it. One recent Sunday morning, while we were in the area, I was craving hot chocolate with cream, so we went there. It was a TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT... First of all, there's no price displayed on the pastry counter, so after choosing two jam-filled Occhi di Bufala biscuits, we realized we'd paid 2.50 each. If only they'd been good! They were hard and dry, like toast. I had to throw them away, despite my hunger. Not to mention the hot chocolate, it tasted like they'd heated the water and hastily melted a teaspoon of cocoa... it had no flavor, and wasn't nearly as thick and creamy as a hot chocolate should be. I make it at home with a ciobar, and it turns out great; it just takes a little effort. After leaving that awful breakfast I paid for so much on the table and ruining my day, I have no choice but to leave this message to the owners: Raising prices while simultaneously (drastically) lowering quality only drives away customers. Is it worth it? In fact, I will never set foot in there again.

13/10/2025: A favorite pastry shop in Anzio. Whenever I'm in Anzio, it's my go-to for breakfast. Last night, my family and I also tried their delicious, freshly made filled bombe. Wonderful! Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location in the center of Anzio, right in the square. Highly recommended.

16/10/2025: Deeply disappointed by the fake promotions displayed on the wall. Lately, things have gotten worse and prices have gone up. 1/2 chicken on sale for 9.00, then a drink is 3.50 and...cover charge...1.50... Total 14 euros 💶. ABSURD! (15.50 for a whole chicken). The funniest thing is the cover charge. Do they call eating out of a cardboard box with your hands on an A2 sheet of paper a cover charge?

13/10/2025: It's called a chicken leg sold for half a chicken, you basically sold me half a chick... the usual chains start like a bomb but then only the fuse remains.... I congratulate you, you know how you steal money.

02/11/2025: The food has no price labelling and the restaurant overcharge for tourist. 3.5€ for Pitaschio croissant and 5€ for Mazitozzo. Wouldn’t recommend it taste okay. Better buy from neigbour cafe with cheaper price and better service, atmosphere and quality

14/10/2025: We had booked a photography session, and our photographer pulled us into this tiny cafe for breakfast. We were pretty apprehensive when we saw the ratings but didn’t want to be rude so we went in. It was full of locals grabbing breakfast on their way to work, which was a relief! I don’t know why they have such low ratings! Espresso was excellent! One of the best I have ever had. The pistachio croissant was delicious, but the raisin pastry was to die for. I would love to go back just for that! The place is pretty cheap too!

19/10/2025: If you see this very popular bar, it's due exclusively to its strategic location, under the conference center, next to Viale Ceccarini and located in the gallery... certainly not for quality or merit, the coffee is good and a Pascucci nothing to complain about, the pastries are remiss, there are much better. But their worst point is here I turn to the Pascucci chain... it's the staff, I've been several times but it's always the same problem: total rudeness, always argumentative and nervous girls... they choose to work in a place that's always full and where there's always a rush but they fail to understand it, not all of them obviously but there are a couple who, oh my god, destroy a place with such rudeness. I think that now if I find myself there and I'd like a drink there, to avoid feeling treated this way I'll take a walk and find something else. Remember that otherwise you were in that position you would have closed a long time ago. Table service I was told "we don't even think about doing service outside, if you want they'll come and get it". The counter is bare of food and poorly presented. Tables are full of used glasses and cups. A word of advice: close it, you'll make a better impression. There's more acid here than in car batteries.

14/07/2025: I've been coming here every now and then for many years, and unfortunately, I have to say I was very disappointed this last time with the iced matcha latte. Those who drink it often might find it bland compared to the usual flavor of any matcha drink, which isn't present in generous quantities here, as can also be seen from the color, which helps justify its price even less. I think it's a shame for a place like this to stumble over basic things when you see the care that went into everything else. I was polite, but I feel like I was being taken for a ride.

08/06/2025: To forget! We ordered two roasts, a salad, and a bottle of water for €38, paid by debit card. The receipt was €20. The price list for a roast was €12. We pointed out that the bill wasn't right, but the owner insisted, saying it was correct. Shame on you.

21/09/2025: Excellent place in the center of Chioggia with delicious dishes and excellent staff and service. I recommend it.

14/10/2025: I discovered it thanks to the breakfast deal with my accommodation. It was absolutely excellent: quality products, a wide selection, and friendly staff. In addition to the breakfast voucher, I purchased other products to try, all excellent.

29/08/2025: The welcome at Chalet Morel is simply warm and attentive, and the place is incredibly cozy, whether in summer or winter! Even if we almost want to keep this little gem a secret, we can only recommend it 200%. A real favorite!

19/08/2025: Fantastic location. We stayed for Ferragosto 2025 and found the professionalism and courtesy of the staff to be excellent. Emanuela and Vittorio are not to be missed.
