03/09/2025: We want to add that two different friend groups recommended this restaurant.
The food was extremely fresh, with a very good portion size. Mind you; the pasta sizes you see in the photos below is half a portion.
The starters were great, very fresh and tasty. Everything was timed perfectly, with the chance for our daughter to eat first but also for us to enjoy the started with her. The wine selection is vast and very good prices.
Everything is local, from the fish, the wines and the bread. We will come back for sure!!

08/09/2025: The restaurant is in a wonderful, tranquil setting. The lighting at night is equally impressive. Romance is certainly possible! :)
The service was excellent; our waiter was excellent, very friendly, and humorous. You could tell he did his job with love, heart, and humor. Communication was very good in English, and we were able to speak a few words in Italian.
The food was exceptional; the unique tiramisu was unparalleled and indescribably delicious (both in appearance and taste)!
Good value for money!
Highly recommended all around and a truly wonderful experience!

18/08/2025: Very good value for money. Friendly service, nice outdoor area. Good pizza, good mixed fish platter, good and plentiful. I highly recommend it.
18/08/2025: The food was very average (except for the very good homemade tiramisu). Efficient service (the very young waiters give it their all). The place is quiet and nice with a play area for children (swing etc.) which is quite exceptional!

29/07/2025: Antica Arilica is a guarantee! We can't miss this seafood restaurant when we're on Lake Garda. The raw fish is spectacular, fresh, and high-quality. Spaghetti with clams and bottarga is incredibly flavorful, not to mention the baked turbot... what can I say, you won't regret it.
15/07/2025: I came to this restaurant without eating raw fish, and it's become my favorite food. Super fresh fish, perfect service. Chef Davide is a treat for the stomach, and his mother is a treat for the heart. It's like being with family. Discovered the restaurant on Sunday, and on Tuesday we were back, and we'll be back again and again and again.

14/08/2025: The menu is simple and varied, perfect for those looking for fresh, simply prepared fish and seafood. The service was excellent; we came with two young children, and the welcome was truly friendly and attentive to our requests.

19/08/2025: We had dinner for two with our little dog. He was welcomed with respect from the start. The staff let us choose a seat and brought him a bowl of water. Excellent food, super staff! Highly recommended!
14/08/2025: The menu says: mixed fried seafood with calamari, rubbery shrimp, low-quality frozen shrimp, other items that didn't arrive, and tzatziki sauce that turned into parsley mayonnaise. I spent €66 for two terrible fried foods, a glass of wine, and a bottle of water. If I were allergic to eggs and had eaten the yogurt sauce with conviction, I would have ended up in the hospital. Is this how you treat tourists?
A terrible experience, and the waiter/manager was unprepared and uneducated.

21/08/2025: We went to the restaurant, ate outside while it was raining, but we were sheltered by the awning, and it was pleasant. The fish dinner was delicious, with grilled and fried fish. The waiter was very kind and attentive to our requests.
19/08/2025: Currently the best restaurant in Peschiera del Garda for me. The service is delightful, the staff incredibly friendly and helpful. All the pasta is fresh, and the fusilli (very similar to Sicilian busiate) with clams were amazing. The lavaret was also excellent!

05/09/2025: The service was fake-friendly and restless, even though it really wasn't busy. We waited 45 minutes for the main course, which was okay at best. A thick loaf of bread is served – you can ask for salt and oil. They charge €5 for this, which is common in Italy. If you ask for more details, they ask if this is your "first time in Italy." No – that didn't happen in Florence, Bolzano, Pisa, Livorno, or Lucca.
Strongly avoid this place.
05/09/2025: We had to wait almost an hour for our food, even though it was barely full. Food that wasn't worth the wait!
The service seemed unprofessional, arrogant, and dismissive.
And when we neutrally asked about a €5 surcharge (for stale bread and the waterfront view), we were asked if we "had even been to Italy."
We also had the impression that the waiters laugh at guests as soon as they left—and we witnessed it ourselves when they later made fun of other guests. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

16/05/2025: We had the misfortune of having dinner here. The lasagne was bland, watery and overcooked to the point of being mush, carbonara had turned into scrambled egg and the roast potatoes were soggy and cold. I expect everything was frozen and reheated in the microwave. I sent my lasagne back and staff then avoided our table for the rest of the meal, even when it was apparent that several dishes were untouched. They were indifferent when I mentioned the issues with the food. If I was the owner I would be extremely concerned that such poor standard of food is allowed to leave the kitchen as most of it was inedible.
17/04/2025: Ottimo per tutto! Cibo, Prezzi, Posizione! Ci torno sempre volentieri al Ristorante Pizzeria Vecchia Marina; Lo consiglio!
p.s. fanno anche un ulteriore sconto del 10% a chi alloggia all'attiguo Hotel Johnson ! (Ottimo Hotel che consiglio).

05/06/2025: Wish I'd have read the reviews before we visited this place. We were attracted to the lovely surroundings and were in need of a rest and a couple of drinks. Fortunately we didn't eat. When we paid at the end we were handed a receipt for 15euros which was more than the menu price however when I checked the credit card bill later they'd actually charged over £15 which must have been about 18 euros. The place is total rip off.
28/05/2025: Terribile!! NON CONSIGLIATO ASSOLUTAMENTE!
Personale menefreghista e non attento al bisogno del cliente.Io e un'amica abbiamo preso il fritto di Lago,ma mai visto cotto per intero dovendo farsi male con le lische senza averlo pulito! Sentendosi dire dal cameriere che dovevamo optare per un'altra cosa se non piaceva! "Finito (per dire)" il fritto non siamo state più considerate per un eventuale dolce/caffè o altro.
Cosa gravissima durante il pasto c'è stato un inconveniente di un insetto dentro un calice di vino pieno, il quale visto più volte dal solito cameriere, non è stato neanche chiesto se potevano cambiarlo o per lo meno non farcelo pagare dato che non è stato quasi consumato ne sostituito!! Prezzi esagerati e differenti dal menu scritto. Ultima cosa penosa è che l'insegna del ristorante in vista è "Pizzeria da Frank " anziché "Pizzeria Bounty"! Molto probabilmente per non poter scrivere recensioni di esperienze pessime come la nostra. Questo non è saper fare quel tipo di lavoro! Potessi dare -10 lo farei.
