14/11/2025: High-quality venue with superb service and atmosphere. Abir the main server was outstanding, his attentiveness and in-depth knowledge of the served local food made the experience exceptional.

15/02/2026: We recently went on holiday to Taormina and wanted to hike up Mount Etna. On the way, we stopped in Zafferano Etna, where a woman recommended that we don't eat in Taormina, but instead in a beautiful place called Forza d'Agro. It's about 30 minutes from Taormina, nestled in the mountains with stunning views of the sea and Calabria. Incidentally, scenes from the film "Il Padrino" were filmed there! We had a wonderful meal at this trattoria, of course with fish, and the value for money was excellent! Highly recommended!

30/01/2026: I've been to dinner several times, accompanying guests from the boat I worked on... the restaurant is worth it in every way... the view, the welcome, the professional, attentive, and friendly service... the carefully prepared dishes of an innovative cuisine that still maintains Aeolian and Sicilian traditions... the well-stocked wine cellar. You can also start the evening by booking an aperitif while admiring a spectacular sunset. The guests were enthusiastic and satisfied. We warmly thank all the staff who made our evenings relaxing and, above all, cheerful, always capable of providing a smile. PS: Book in advance... it's a very popular place.

08/09/2025: I ate excellent raw ham, although the portion was certainly not large. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The only flaw is that the restaurant isn't air-conditioned.

16/11/2025: Delicious food and great service. This quaint restaurant with terrace overlooking Taormina’s public gardens and located off the beaten track and away from the tourist traps. Highly recommend it to anyone who is not looking for the usual dishes found in most the restaurants. Well presented and fresh local food. 10 out of 10. Well done!

06/01/2026: Our favourite restaurant in Taormina! We came here on our first evening of our honeymoon and enjoyed it so much we came back on our last. The restaurant interior is lovely, but we enjoyed sitting in the courtyard on both occasions. Food was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, explaining dishes and helping us to find the right wine pairings. The manager in particular was super friendly. All round incredible place and a must visit.

07/01/2026: Excellent restaurant: delicious food and a spectacular location, with a breathtaking view of all of Taormina and Mount Etna right across the street. During the summer, a splendid upstairs terrace is also available. Highly recommended, especially for the kindness of the staff. We chose a raw fish appetizer to share, two first courses (a risotto and tagliolini), and, to finish, a dessert. Everything was delicious, and we had a truly wonderful time. Thank you, Alfio!

03/01/2026: Expectations are inevitably high in a restaurant of this caliber. And it must be said right away: they weren't disappointed, even if there was a slight sense of "it could have been better." The setting is refined, elegant but not stuffy, with a warm, well-lit dining room and a nighttime view that pleasantly complements the dinner. The service is one of the strong points: extremely kind, attentive, never intrusive, and capable of making you feel welcomed from start to finish. The fried seafood is well-executed, using quality ingredients, dry and light. However, for a €25 dish, the portion is objectively modest: two people can eat, yes, but with the feeling that something is missing. More than the quality, here it's the quantity that doesn't live up to the asking price. The risotto with shrimp tails and cheese is perfect, balanced, and well-creamed. Good, without a doubt. But at this level—and especially at €25—you expect that wow factor, that bite that lingers in your memory. In this case, it doesn't explode; it remains a good dish without becoming memorable. The real surprise was the soup: intense, deep, enveloping: truly, very good, one of those dishes that justify the cuisine and leave a lasting impression. Overall, a good experience, pleasant and refined, with room to become excellent. A restaurant that has everything to convince, but which could be more daring with some dishes to fully justify the bill.

25/02/2026: ⛔️AVOID THIS RESTAURANT I ordered the Crudo Royal (€30 - Scampi, Fish Carpaccio, Red Prawn, Tuna, Oyster) tonight. Please take a look at the picture to see what I actually received, aside from the quality. Waiting time: 45 minutes (in an empty restaurant!?) Plate check: loads of tiny scampi, tuna, red prawns (without tongs to crack them open), and some kind of white stuff. NO FISH CARPACCIO!!! NO OYSTER!!! On top of that, everything, EVERYTHING, was frozen, thawed (hence the long wait), and then marinated in oil. The poor, pale seafood was cold and slimy. He said it was oil... it was thawed stuff! Incredibly disgusting. I could only wash it down with white wine. I should have sent the plate straight back to the kitchen; this is completely unacceptable!!! Before paying, I wanted to know where the oyster was. I only just noticed the missing fish capaccio. The chef made excuses... nothing was delivered this evening, but he compensated. Compensated with what?! I ordered the most expensive appetizer, and he didn't want me to change my mind, so he decided to simply alter the dish for me. I wasn't asked beforehand, nor was I informed. That's incredibly disrespectful and dishonest. Communication is everything. Regarding the slimy leftovers, he claimed they were marinated. It's a disgrace that such a person is a chef in a restaurant; shame on you!!! I paid the €40 without further discussion, but he more than deserves this bad review. The waitress was only physically present. She never came by to ask if everything was alright, if I wanted another glass of wine. Nothing. A completely bizarre experience. If your health is important to you, please spend your money elsewhere!

25/02/2026: We stopped here on a whim and had a very good meal (mussels, spaghetti carbonara, penne alla Norma). The dishes were not only perfectly prepared but also beautifully presented. We didn't have to wait long. A true professional with a passion for their work is at work here. The server was probably still in training, but very attentive and friendly. However, the clientele was quite small, consisting of only two couples.

19/03/2026: I discovered this restaurant/pizzeria in Messina by chance during a business trip. I dined there for two days, purposely ordering pizza on both occasions because I wanted to try new pizzas, with combinations of ingredients and flavors I'd never seen before. Two examples to give you an idea: raisins rehydrated with Malvasia wine and lemon mayonnaise dollops. I promised myself I'd return on my next trip to try the restaurant's dishes. The service is also noteworthy, with staff always available and ready to accommodate any customer needs or requests, with wait times truly reduced to a minimum. The prices are slightly higher than usual, but absolutely justified by the excellent quality of the products and service. Highly recommended.

28/11/2025: Beautiful setting and super romantic. Food was delicious and staff were lovely. Portions are small so marked down for that in terms of value for money. Marked down on service as was charged an additional €30 for a bottle of wine we did not order. Did not notice until we got back to the hotel as we were in a rush to pay because it started to rain and we were outside! With that being said I would go again, without the kids and make sure I check the bill properly next time! The outdoor terrace is truly stunning.

23/10/2025: This restaurant may as well be one of the best places I’ve ever had dinner. We found it online and decided to check it out spontaneously, and just wow. The garden is beautiful, with several citrus trees. Super romantic atmosphere. All the staff has specific roles, so the sommelier only does take wine orders, the waitresses only bring food and take away empty plates or refill empty glasses and there are separate people for taking food orders or bringing out the bill. Although it might feel a bit slow (reading some of the other comments), there definitely is a system in place that works well. And then the food… eating a variety of vegetarian food has been difficult in Sicily. Not at this restaurant; they have an amazing selection of high quality vegetarian food. Probably the best vegetarian food we’ve ever had. We started with a delicious burrata and tomatoes, then lemon linguini, fried artichoke and shared two desserts. We did not have any wine, just two bottles of water and I was surprised with how low the bill was for the amazing quality of food. Feels like dining in a Michelin setting, but for a super reasonable price. Thank you to the staff for this amazing experience!

10/02/2026: Casale degli Aranci was love at first sight. We knew from the very first moment that it would be the perfect place to celebrate our wedding, and it exceeded every expectation! The location is stunning, surrounded by greenery and cared for with meticulous attention to detail. Every corner exudes elegance and harmony. The food was excellent: we ate deliciously and received countless compliments from our guests for the quality and sophistication of the dishes. A special thank you goes to Antonio, always friendly, helpful, and attentive from the first meeting, and impeccable on the wedding day as well. A heartfelt thank you also goes to all the staff, professional, thoughtful, and welcoming to us and all our guests. We experienced a fairytale wedding, one that I continue to relive with emotion and that I will always joyfully recount. The warmth, care, and magic we felt will remain forever in our hearts. 25/11/2025: It is an historical restaurant that has existed for decades now. It's very big and has a large parking area. You can eat pizza as much as gastronomy. There is a very nice wine selection and delicious desserts. I was a teenager in the '90s and I ate pizza in this restaurant, for the first time. Now, the restaurant has become better than ever. I have just one important recommendation for you: for the weekend, do not forget to book your table. The restaurant is full. If you are alone or with your partner or with your full family, this restaurant is a great place for your dinner. Enjoy it and Be happy
