30/10/2024: You sit a little apart in a very nice atmosphere. The restaurant is run with passion and the food is worth the price! We have rarely eaten so well. Don't be afraid to come here with children, the chef is also ready to prepare pasta with tomato sauce for the little ones 😊 Absolutely recommended in all respects!

25/09/2024: Esposa y yo hemos visitado La Caravella muchas veces a lo largo de los años, Dominic y su equipo siempre nos han cuidado mucho y nos trataron como familia. Durante esta visita pasamos cuatro días disfrutando del paisaje y almuerzos tranquilos. Las tumbonas de playa están muy bien espaciadas y tiene una sombrilla bien anclada para proporcionar sombra si se desea. Su equipo nos recogería en nuestro hotel Taormina y nos transportaría a la playa donde nos recibirían y nos mostrarían nuestros lugares para el día. Camine unos pasos hacia atrás hasta el restaurante cubierto donde el menú es bastante grande y variado, a un precio razonable y la comida siempre deliciosa. El servicio es siempre amable, eficiente y atento. Al final del día el transporte de Dominic nos lleva de vuelta a nuestro hotel. Gracias a Dominic y a todo el equipo por otra maravillosa visita de varios días!

13/09/2024: Gran experiencia en la playa. La Caracalla nos recogió con su lanzadera y nos llevó al club de playa. Incluido en nuestro precio era el servicio de transporte, 2 sillas y una sombrilla. La playa estaba limpia y el mar claro. Tuvimos un almuerzo fabuloso en el restaurante y el propietario nos organizó un viaje en barco por la zona. Muy recomendable.

26/01/2025: A magnificent place! You might think at first that it is a tourist trap but, not at all. We found many locals there, the dishes are varied and excellent. The pizza is delicious, as well as the pasta. Attentive service. The setting is sumptuous both inside in the old stones and outside with the roof garden where you will eat under the trees and the little lights. Magnificent indeed! A good address in Toarmine...you can go there with your eyes closed!

05/01/2025: Wonderful restaurant, and in the summer, as I did, I booked on the beautiful terrace with a breathtaking view of the entire gulf.. I took a long time to write this review, but it deserves so much that I didn't write it.. Anyway, in addition to the beautiful location, what can I say about the exquisite and attentive staff .. For example, being celiac, I need extra attention and without a doubt there was... Very attentive to Gluten free, they have pasta and bread and even desserts.. All really excellent

11/02/2025: I had always enjoyed it in the past, but tonight I took 2 takeaway pizzas, a norm and a margherita...total disappointment...frozen aubergines hard and still frozen, rubbery dough, no flavor and arrived already cold after 10 minutes by car....the worst pizza I've ever eaten! €23 down the drain..

04/02/2025: Not exactly in the center of Messina, but definitely worth discovering, L'Orso is a pizzeria that surprises with its originality. The menu offers particular and creative pizzas, with different types of dough and extraordinary care in presentation: each pizza is a small work of art. The quality-price ratio is excellent, with normal prices considering the quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail. The restaurant also offers an excellent selection of beers, perfect to accompany the dishes. The spaces are large, allowing for a comfortable dinner, and the staff is qualified and attentive. To conclude, the restaurant offers a wide choice of desserts, although the salted caramel panna cotta could be improved. In summary, L'Orso is a pizzeria worth trying for those who love unusual pizzas, quality ingredients and a spacious and welcoming environment. Absolutely recommended!

04/01/2025: Historic pizzeria restaurant, large environment with plenty of seating. We always stop for dinner when we're in the area. And we did the same thing last night too. We like to eat mussels Tarantina style and then linguine seasoned with their sauce. Highly recommended 😋😋

12/11/2024: Whilst a very similar menu to all the other restaurants nearby we quite liked this place. Its hard to find quality restaurants in Giardina Naxos as most places have more of a a cafe like feel. I had a veal chop and partner fillet steak with porcini sauce. Whilst perfectly acceptable and tasty it did lack a little bit of finesse , guess I'm used to quality city restaurants, its nice to eat more rustically now and again and this fits the bill perfectly !

18/09/2024: Sehr gut besuchtes Lokal in italienisch/sizilianischen Stil. Freundlicher Service, und sehr gutes Essen. Die Portionen sind absolut ok. Die Involtini di melanzane (Auberginen-Röllchen) sind ein Kracher. Für den roten Hauswein gibts von mir leichten Abzug, aber das ist mein subjektiver Eindruck. Die Bestuhlung ist eng, entsprechend hoch ist der Lärmpegel, aber hey… wir sind hier im tiefen Süden. Alles in allen war wir sehr zufrieden

05/01/2025: Nos alojamos en la exquisita ciudad de Taormina, y deambulamos por allí. El chef es excelente, y la comida fue realmente memorable. ¡La pieza de resistencia fue el mejor cannoli siciliano que hemos probado! Fue una revelación y estableció un estándar al que nunca se podrá volver a acercar.

01/01/2025: Excelente restaurante en el centro de Taormina. La comida deliciosa, tanto los entrantes (probamos el pulpo que estaba delicioso). La pasta, el pescado y las carnes espectaculares. Los postres deliciosos. El servicio excelente y el ambiente tranquilo. Muy recomendable.

05/11/2024: Consigliatomi da amici, ci siamo recati presso questo ristorante dove dell'accoglienza al conto tutto è stato in linea delle nostre aspettative. Super accoglienza, super ospitalità piatti ottimi e abbondanti in un terrazzo direttamente sulla spiaggia con vista su taormina. Straconsigliato.

15/01/2025: A pleasant discovery, as soon as you enter it seems like you're going back in time. Crumbly cannoli with a unique flavour, always fresh almond paste and the nougat is truly the best for me. A stone's throw from the easily accessible port. Truly positive experience.

06/11/2024: Este fue un verdadero hallazgo (gracias Tripadvisor). Está escondido en una escalera de callejón muy estrecha, frente a la tienda Louis Vuitton - es tan estrecho que te lo perderías si no lo estuvieras buscando. Pero no parecen necesitar un miembro del personal que atraiga a la gente a diferencia de muchos de los otros restaurantes de la ciudad. El personal era muy amable y la comida en el restaurante de la azotea era excelente. Recomendado.

20/10/2024: Nos recomendaron este restaurante por nuestro hotel. Me alegro de haber venido. Es de gestión familiar, y por un callejón muy estrecho de la calle comercial principal. Definitivamente es un restaurante boca a boca. ¡Si lo sabes, lo sabes! Está arriba y hay algunos asientos afuera. Aunque nos sentamos dentro, ya que hacía bastante viento. El personal era encantador y explicó todas las especiales. La comida era irreal. Estábamos tan llenos, pero compartimos un pistacho tiramisú. Estoy muy contento de haberlo hecho. ¡Uno de los mejores postres que he comido! Si estás visitando Taormina, caza este lugar. Realmente no te arrepentirás.
