02/01/2025: The Venus restaurant in Orta San Giulio is a true gem. We usually recommend it to all our guests who stop at our B&B Magichouse in Novara, and have Orta San Giulio among their next stops. On December 31st we had the opportunity to have dinner in the early evening. The risotto was creamy and tasty, prepared to perfection. The second course was equally delicious, with fresh ingredients and a truly perfect combination of flavours.
The service was attentive and courteous.
Highly recommended!
31/12/2024: I'm reviewing the bar service because I haven't tried the restaurant. I ordered a hot chocolate which was definitely too liquid (for a Piedmontese it's embarrassing...). They do not have separate accounts and do not serve a glass of water at the table but only the bottle. If it wasn't for the exceptional location it would be an average bar with nothing special.

The staff were also very kind and courteous.
I will definitely be back!
25/11/2024: Even in the middle of winter, even if you dine inside, without enjoying the wonderful view of the lake, you can enjoy the charm of this restaurant. Excellent fish cuisine and more, pleasant service from the friendly owner, warm and relaxing environment.

13/08/2024: One of the best experiences we’ve ever had in a restaurant. A cozy place, extremely attentive staff and dishes that were all out of the world. From the outstanding selection of starters that were all beautifully presented through the first and main course , and ending with wonderful desert selection. One can see the amount of work and talent put into every little detail. A place to enjoy and cherish with a nice bottle of wine in the middle of this beautiful village Perfect experience for all senses.
