24/08/2025: A wonderful time in this very welcoming restaurant in Dolceacqua! We enjoyed ourselves from start to finish... typical dishes of the region, surprising and original flavors, good olive oil, good wine, simple and effective desserts and above all a very good coffee made in San Remo which is worth the detour! A thousand thanks for the lovely welcome! 😍. And we remind you: no parmesan on the pasta alle vongole!!! 🤌🏻Ahahaha 😄 - Grazie!!! 👌🏻
24/08/2025: Incredible, local dishes that are filled with SO much flavor! I advise making a reservation (no matter the party size). The service was very friendly and quick along with the fact that the food was very tasty (olive oil was insane). I would strongly recommend eating here if you are in the area. We booked the day before and the only time available was during lunch. (Bear in mind: this was during the summer season.) I’d definitely go back here and recommend others the same! (Pictured below: local fish appetizer, vongole pasta, gnocchi pasta, & lemon sorbet gelato). Grazie mille to the staff 🫶🏼

The food is delicious.
The staff is very friendly and professional.

20/09/2025: Historic restaurant in San Romolo with two dining rooms and an outdoor area, one of which features vintage motorcycles. The food was good, we went specifically for the mushrooms since they were available... excellent service, attentive and kind, you can tell they do it with passion... medium-high prices.

We’ve spent 2 weeks driving all over Italy and this is the nicest restaurant we’ve eaten in - appropriately on our last night
Food was amazing, we got a free glass of Prosecco on arrival and a limoncello at the end - despite that the food was incredibly well priced
Even the toilets were lovely

13/09/2025: What a great find! The staff was super attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and all possible allergens. Delicious paella and fried calamari (gluten free batter). I would definitely recommend this place! Reasonable prices as well.

Everything is perfect: the welcome, the kindness, the speed of execution, the team is great like Ismail. And what can I say about the dishes. FABULOUS. Impeccable service, the lady who served us was very kind and friendly.
The first courses were amazing, as were the fried foods and desserts. We've never had better.
The price is very fair; elsewhere you'd pay the same for much lower quality.

21/09/2025: Very good except for me the tuna was stung and I thought that was the recipe except that after that I had poisoning within 30 minutes. Apparently I had a histamine reaction due to poor storage of the tuna ... in short it's the first time that this has happened to me and I was very sick 😷...

15/02/2025: Ogni anno (da ormai diverso tempo) quando sono in vacanza in queste zone, è ormai una tappa fissa la cena in questo ristorante. Mi sono sempre trovato 'molti bene' in rapporta alla qualità /'prezzo, piatti di pesce squisiti e molto abbondanti ma sopratutto anche di qualità. Personale premuroso e molto attento sopratutto 'gentile', consigliatissimo!!

03/09/2025: We made a reservation with the chef, who seemed very arrogant, listless, and unfriendly.
Two days later, when we went there for dinner, our impressions were confirmed. We enjoy eating out often (we went to restaurants eight times in those two weeks alone), and never before have we been treated so poorly by the service. The plates were thrown listlessly onto our table, and the words "please" and "thank you" were only spoken by us (okay, only at the beginning, then we adjusted to the surroundings).
We had two appetizers, a starter, and two main courses, none of which were salty and didn't have much in the way of spices. Only the beans were quite spicy, but that didn't match the rest of the plate at all. Every dish could be done better by a housewife! The listless staff and the subpar quality of the food prompted us to have a glass of wine, dessert, and espresso at another restaurant. We've never done that before, but we've never felt as mistreated and unwelcome, either at home or abroad, as we did at Emy's!
The location is great, by the way, and the terrace is really nice, but with this kind of staff, the ambiance isn't worth three stars.

11/10/2025: The eggplant ravioli and Pinot Grigio was perfect! Beautiful view of the water and rock formations. It was a nice walking stop on the way back to our accommodations in Bordighera from visiting the botanical gardens, Giardino Esotico Pallanca.
05/10/2025: Superb place, friendly waiters but after sending back a plate of almost empty ravioli (supposed to be filled with eggplant), we were charged for it, even though we had ordered another dish at the suggestion of the waitress. No restaurant worthy of the name would have dared to do this. The owner did not deign to come despite our request (10 minute wait). Avoid.
