22/05/2026: We found this place almost by chance to satisfy our craving for red meat, and it turned out to be a wonderful discovery.
We ordered the mixed grill with rib-eye steak for two to share (€55) and were truly impressed: the rib-eye steak, about 900g, was out of this world, cooked to perfection, with an excellent grilled flavor, and decidedly filling. The grill also included sausage, coppone, pancetta, and grilled polenta. Overall, a very generous portion, more than enough for a dinner for two.
As an appetizer, we also recommend the Tuscan chicken liver crostini, if you like that kind of food: really good.
The staff is also very welcoming and friendly, and the place is beautiful. We'll definitely be back!

The price was reasonable for the quality of the fish and the service.

The ambiance is beautiful, refined without being pretentious, and the open kitchen is open to the light and harmonious world of Chef Guido and his assistants. The hostess, with kindness and wisdom, guides guests through the best options.
The result is always a delight for body and soul!
23/12/2025: The chef decides what you eat, how much you eat, and even how much you pay. A little flexibility wouldn't hurt!

15/07/2026: If you're going to obnoxiously and rudely presume to speak English to an Italian-speaker even when they are speaking Italian to you, please at least be competent at it. The waitress kept insisting on speaking incomprehensible English at me. We are in Italy. The language here is Italian. Want to practice your English? Travel to Britain or Canada or wherever.
But if you absolutely won't be polite enough to respect people's language, then at least learn English well enough to be understood. I don't know what "joo wut fo-uhr o to-uh drikka" means. 🤣🤣🤦♂️
I'm not here to teach you English. Go to school for that.
26/06/2026: After visiting the splendid Estense Castle, we stopped at this restaurant located right at the exit. I admit: given its central location, I was afraid it would be a tourist trap, but it was a delightful surprise.
The restaurant is beautiful, well-kept, and has a fantastic outdoor terrace with a view. The atmosphere is truly pleasant, but the food deserves special mention: the food is truly delicious, and the prices are absolutely reasonable for the area. We tried the pasticcio ferrarese salato (an exceptional traditional dish) and a classic lasagna, both beautifully prepared and flavorful. An excellent stop for those seeking quality just steps from the monument.
A special mention goes to the welcome: Alessia was truly kind and professional, an added bonus for the restaurant.

31/12/2024: This is a fantastic British-style pub a stone's throw from Ferrara's main square.
Italy is a wine country, so to find 10 beers on tap was incredible! I think the beers are regularly changed too, it's not the same 10 every time.
A half-litre beer cost €6. Out of principle I never bothered to note smaller measures.
Obviously there is a full bar too and pub grub to boot.
14/08/2024: Birre sempre di qualità ed atmosfera informale.....ideale per bere con calma qualcosa appoggiandosi ai tavolini fuori dal locale o guardare eventi sportivi all'interno. Passateci.
