26/02/2025: This hotel is absolutely stunning. The service was very accommodating and helpful. The location is breathtaking. We stayed all over Italy and this was our favorite hotel thus far. The private beach was unreal. It’s pricey but it’s worth it every penny. We want to come back just to stay in this hotel again

08/02/2025: This is one of the best luxury properties in Sorrento. The rooms are unique and well appointed. The bathrooms are luxurious and I highly recommend a balcony. The location is incredible with historic center shopping and restaurants nearby. The restaurant, Terrace La Pergola, has stunning views and delicious food. This hotel provides an amazing experience all around!

18/02/2025: Disappointed and a missed opportunity. For the the price point one is paying at this resturant every bite and every morsel one puts in their mouth should be delectable and memorable Unfortunately the food was far from this desire. Presentation was good but flavor and taste was not consistent with the presentation. Overall nothing truly jumped out to make this meal a memorable experience. Amouse Bouche tasted fine but didn't blow my mind. Octopus was perfectly cooked but undersalted; sauce had a nice citrusy flavor. Lobster Saffron pasta was a big let down; flavor was just okay and almost no visible lobster which should be a crime for 35€. Sauce seemed very watery. Sea bass was very standard, cooked well but had no discernible flavor outside of lemon and nothing really special. Bread basket was good, really tasty bread. mocktail was quite nice, and so was wine. The dessert amouse bouche (orange, white chocolate) was a touch too sweet. Hazelnut pear tart was did not taste of hazelnut at all and once again a bit too sweet and unbalanced.

09/01/2025: We were treated to a wonderful meal in this spectacular historic building with tasteful contemporary artwork in the heart of Sorrento city center. Chef was kind enough to offer us a tour of the kitchen, where we met his son and daughter and took a picture with him. We sat in the cave and enjoyed wine and a perfect Manhattan, along with wonderful tastes from the land menu and sea menu. It was a perfect moment in time for us and the food was exceptional. Thank you, Chef, family and Il Buco team! Continued success and blessings in the New Year! 🙏🏼🍷💗⭐

08/08/2024: We chose Dafne for our last night in Sorrento. Of the four TripAdvisor top-rated restaurants we tried, this was by far and away the best. Impeccable service, amazing food/drink and an incredible view of Sorrento. I could go on for many words about how good this restaurant is, but suffice to say, if you’re looking for a wonderful restaurant in Sorrento then this is the place to go.

25/02/2025: My wife and I spent 5 nights in Sorrento in December of 2024. After our flight and train trip to Sorrento a stroke of serendipity brought us to this fabulous bar before we crashed for the night. The service was outstanding, the bar food was scrumptious. We managed to frequent the Horseshoe 3 out of the remaining 4 days/nights we were in Sorrento. The two friends that recently bought the bar in early 2024 are outstanding proprietors. My wife is an IPA drinker and they had an IPA that she enjoyed. The owners suggested a Poretti Rossa for me and it was one of the best beers I have ever had. The conversations that we had with one of the owners who was also bar tending was an added bonus for our time in Sorrento. Cannot say enough good things about the Horseshoe.

26/02/2025: By far our favourite spot in Sorrento! We had a terrible set up for breakfast in our hotel and ventured here almost everyday for brunch. The coffee is great, which we found oddly tough to come by in Sorrento. The breakfast and brunch snacks were all fantastic. The atmosphere really tops this place off though - the open air garden is surrounding by orange and lemon trees with a small water feature in the middle. The staff were friendly and very kind to us every time we visited. Try the yoghurt - it's wonderful.

19/01/2025: Locale stupendo in un bellissimo giardino molto grande e con tante luci. Atmosfera super ! Personale gentilissimo, ottimo servizio. Pizza ottima, come anche i primi, i secondi piatti ed i dolci. Provato una volta crea dipendenza e ci si deve tornare! Consigliato!

11/02/2025: Delicious dishes and good prices! I tried the gnocchi alla sorrentina and the pizzas and they were both really good. Very friendly staff :)

28/11/2024: I came to eat at this place because I knew the food was good, and there was nothing to say about the food: it was really excellent. However, I must point out a big flaw regarding the management of the service. More than a month ago, before the place temporarily closed, I had booked and, as per the rules, a deposit of €20 per person was required. After dinner, I asked the waiter if the deposit was already included in the bill, but I was told that it would be credited back to the card. A month and a half have passed since that moment, and despite numerous calls and messages sent via e-mail, I have never received a response nor a refund of the deposit. I find it unacceptable that a venue of this level gets lost in these "small things". The deposit is a service offered by the restaurant and it should be your responsibility to take care of the refund, certainly not the customer's having to continually ask. If you are not able to manage this type of service correctly, it would be better to avoid it, also because few other places in Sorrento require a deposit.

28/02/2025: The seat fee is 2 euros and the water fee is 3 euros. There is no need for that, but it makes me feel bad.

11/09/2024: Vinimos a este restaurante porque estábamos alojados en el hotel y superó nuestras expectativas. Recomiendo encarecidamente el risotto de limón y la berenjena Parm! Giovanni es un camarero increíble! Los platos eran únicos y cuidadosamente preparados. El ambiente es romántico, velas y música ligera. ¡Volveremos!

28/11/2024: Absolutamente fantástica comida. Vimos al pescador traer la última captura al restaurante, y después de pedir recomendaciones, estaba recién cocinado y en nuestra mesa no mucho después. Impresionante comida, vino de calidad, y una vista para morirse. Nuestros anfitriones se aseguraron de que todas nuestras necesidades fueran atendidas. El mejor pescado fresco que encuentres.
