15/12/2024: I only tried the restaurant as a wedding guest. I must say that the place is charming and the food is really good. The structure overlooks the sea and was built so that you can see the breathtaking view both from the restaurant rooms, which have an immense glass wall on one side, and from the terrace even if you are sitting at the table. The staff is professionally impeccable as is the service offered. The atmosphere is romantic and dreamlike in a very elegant and luxurious context. Practically for the duration of your stay you feel a bit like a prince and princess. I would love to go back to relive the magic, even just for an aperitif. If you're in the area, I recommend making a reservation for a sunset dinner.

09/01/2025: We were treated to a wonderful meal in this spectacular historic building with tasteful contemporary artwork in the heart of Sorrento city center. Chef was kind enough to offer us a tour of the kitchen, where we met his son and daughter and took a picture with him. We sat in the cave and enjoyed wine and a perfect Manhattan, along with wonderful tastes from the land menu and sea menu. It was a perfect moment in time for us and the food was exceptional. 08/08/2024: We chose Dafne for our last night in Sorrento. Of the four TripAdvisor top-rated restaurants we tried, this was by far and away the best. Impeccable service, amazing food/drink and an incredible view of Sorrento. I could go on for many words about how good this restaurant is, but suffice to say, if you’re looking for a wonderful restaurant in Sorrento then this is the place to go.

02/01/2025: It was our first night in Sorrento and we celebrated New Year’s Eve. The garden was beautiful and decorated with fairy lights. The food was below average for the high price per person we paid. Waiter was friendly and service good with love music and magician. It was a good celebration. Unfortunately on new year it was so much fireworks it got a smoke 💨 and impossible to see and breathe so we left. New years night costed us 300€ for 2 adults and 2 children. First they said soft drinks are included in the set menu but then they charged us. They insisted making beef 🥩 steak for the kids and we didn’t want it. After insisting they ate the beef and guess what next day both kids with diarrhoea. 🤢 they sold their old leftover meats to kids. Shameless this Italians will do anything to get money.

18/11/2024: Visitamos Café Latina en Sorrento en mi cumpleaños y la experiencia fue inolvidable. Desde el momento en que entramos esa tarde para reservar nuestra mesa, nos recibieron con cálidas sonrisas y nos aseguraron que no era ningún problema en absoluto. Volviendo esa noche, nos encantó la hermosa decoración: luces centelleantes y un follaje exuberante crearon un ambiente mágico y acogedor. Los cinco (tres generaciones) estuvimos sentados en una mesa perfecta y la banda en vivo se sumó a la atmósfera ya vibrante con música fantástica. La comida era excepcional, pero lo que más destacaba era la atención al detalle y el servicio sobresaliente. Nuestra servidora, Theresa, fue una de las mejores que hemos tenido - atento, amable e hizo que mi celebración de cumpleaños se sintiera increíblemente especial. Quedamos tan impresionados que ya hemos reservado una mesa para mi cumpleaños el próximo mes de julio. Muy recomendable para cualquiera que busque una noche llena de buena comida, ambiente y un servicio impecable!

25/12/2024: Nino and Mimo are THE BEST!!! We went in the off season and there wasn’t much to do, however they made the experience memorable. We still think about our times at The Horse Shoe Bar. Thank you for your hospitality and love!

28/11/2024: I came to eat at this place because I knew the food was good, and there was nothing to say about the food: it was really excellent. However, I must point out a big flaw regarding the management of the service. More than a month ago, before the place temporarily closed, I had booked and, as per the rules, a deposit of €20 per person was required. After dinner, I asked the waiter if the deposit was already included in the bill, but I was told that it would be credited back to the card. A month and a half have passed since that moment, and despite numerous calls and messages sent via e-mail, I have never received a response nor a refund of the deposit. I find it unacceptable that a venue of this level gets lost in these "small things". The deposit is a service offered by the restaurant and it should be your responsibility to take care of the refund, certainly not the customer's having to continually ask. If you are not able to manage this type of service correctly, it would be better to avoid it, also because few other places in Sorrento require a deposit.
