17/07/2025: Varied menu featuring local products, all of excellent quality. The staff and owner are extremely friendly and efficient. The rooms are rustic but well-finished. They also have a lovely veranda in the summer. We've been customers for a while now and will continue to return...
02/07/2025: an exceptional little restaurant. I have been there many times and eaten almost all the dishes. At the top I put the meat (sliced) both for the excellent quality of the raw material and for the skill in cooking it. everything very good even the desserts and ... the icing on the cake .. their liqueurs that are offered at the end of the meal, spectacular the meloncello for my taste. Highly recommended, in fact mandatory to visit if you are in L'Aquila and surroundings

19/07/2025: Sono stata in questo ristorante spettacolare con una bellissima vista, se al tramonto ancor di più. La sala interna ha un affresco sul soffitto molto suggestivo. I proprietari sono molto accoglienti, gentili ( qualità non scontata al giorno d'oggi) e super professionali... ti senti quasi a casa!!
I prodotti sono freschi, buonissimi e locali ( ad esempio le verdure sono le loro e la pasta viene fatta dal cuoco al momento).
Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo!!

26/05/2025: Locale sempre super affollato, pieno di gente, moltissimi americani. Si mangia bene, piatti davvero vari e ben cucinati. Servizio gentile e veloce. Conto ok.

I entered the deli at 1:50 PM and was scolded for closing at 2 PM.
Absurd.
Too bad, the food is actually very good.
20/07/2025: Friendly, experienced in selecting products, and strategically located. Recommended.
The shelves inside the supermarket need to be reorganized because it's very difficult to navigate and queue both at the deli, bread, and fresh meat counter and at the checkout.

06/04/2025: L’estate scorsa ho cenato alla poiana con amici. Atmosfera e panorama bellissimi locale rinnovato con luci giuste e il menù ottimo come sempre. Da ritornare sempre!
01/01/2025: Proprio non ce lo aspettavamo di trovare un ristorante così, in una posizione completamente fuori mano.
Locale bello e accogliente, servizio ineccepibile, piatti eccezionali nella proposta e nella realizzazione. Prezzo proporzionato all'offerta. Se siete nei dintorni di Barrea non potete perderlo, soprattutto se amate stile, eleganza e buon cibo.

25/09/2023: I hadnt expected much from a hotel restaurant, however VIN Ristorante carries itself with such quality that I had to write a separate review for the restaurant itself.
Every day is a changing menu. What that means is everyday you can eat there to experience something new. The staff were all so personable and lovely, and I would really recommend doing the wine pairing, this is because you are given a short introduction of the wines that are going with the food, and why it was chosen for its pairing.
I had expected a typical tuscan restaurant when I arrived, and I am pleasantly surprised by what I found otherwise.
13/08/2023: Le parole non possono descrivere adeguatamente l’esperienza a cui si va incontro. Scegliete il menu di degustazione alla cieca! Non ve ne pentirete! Avrete modo di assaggiare una gamma di ciò che lo chef propone in menu! La chef è bravissimo, sia sulla cucina “normale” che sul barbecue! Ancora devo capire quale dei piatti fosse il più buono!!! Avreste mai pensato di far “marinare” un pomodoro nella lavanda? Lui ci ha pensato…ed è una meraviglia!!!
