06/10/2025: The waiters were good, but in the end the bill wasn't accurate, and when I re-checked it at home, I was in for a nasty surprise. Unless, of course, 5 places, 1 bottle of water, and 1 can of orange soda come to 14 euros.
Check your bill before paying and get a retail receipt. I would have left a tip, but I noticed the waiter at the register took care of that.
01/10/2025: Everything is excellent, but it could be improved and more youth music evenings could be organized to attract more customers...

06/09/2025: With my trusty e-bike, I pedal toward Alba Adriatica, stopping briefly in Giulianova.
My destination is Pineta Beach, a remarkable beach resort with a restaurant, where I happily return to meet the owners, Lara and Marcello, who are kind, courteous, and professional, and have long been among my best friends.
I must also praise the efficiency of the entire staff.
Now I'm sitting at the table and I plan to fully enjoy this day, especially because for the frugal but special meal, I'm relying on the excellent chef Adriana, whom I already know as the "grandmother of traditions."
Today's specials are:
"Seafood Ceppe" and "Fried Anchovies."
And... enjoy your meal....

06/09/2025: We went to Barbanera for dinner today, September 6, 2025.
An experience to forget, left to our own devices. The grilled fish was embarrassing. I've never seen anything like it. 17 euros for a tiny piece of fish and a skewer of shrimp. It was incredibly sad!
The other diners also had broken squid, just four tiny pieces on their plates.
A mind-blowing price for that miserable dinner.
I honestly feel like I was being taken for a ride.
NEVER AGAIN!!!

07/08/2025: 2024. Very nice place, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Tasty and unique dishes. I especially recommend the arrosticini and fried cheese.
2025. A year later, the place has changed hands because they've changed management and they no longer serve arrosticini, but only regular pizza. We were disappointed because we came back specifically to experience last year's atmosphere.

I'm sorry, but it's not worth it; it's a steal for the food they served.

Simple, friendly, and humble atmosphere.
Good quality local cuisine on the menu.
Excellent mussels and pasta dishes, even off-menu options if requested in advance.
I highly recommend it.

Recommended by the owner of the B&B where I was staying, we discovered a gelateria that uses high-quality ingredients to create exceptional flavors.
Wide selection of flavors; we tried both fruit and cream...delicious!
The guy was very kind, with great skill in making gelato and creating beautiful cones. Prices start at €2.50 (a great price compared to other gelaterias) and excellent value.
I recommend it!

08/09/2025: I can't rate either the food or the drinks. We weren't even served. The waiter saw us, but preferred to keep fiddling with his phone. After 20 minutes, we'd had enough and left.

11/08/2025: We ordered two round pizzas, the classic ones, not the slice ones. The quality of the pizza is good, but not excellent; it's not the typical classic pizza you might think of. The place probably focuses more on other types of pizza, like pizza by the slice.
The real sticking point was the wait time: despite it being a Saturday night at 7:00 PM, we waited forty-five minutes for three Margherita pizzas, which I thought was a bit excessive.
Overall, it's a good place, and the long wait may have been an isolated incident.
20/06/2025: Terrible pizza. They're most likely frozen pizzas that they then add toppings to when you order.
