07/08/2026: I'd been looking for a place to enjoy a peaceful aperitivo for a while, and I don't think I'm exaggerating when I say Merlibeach is the only place I've found it. Quality, dim lighting, soft music at just the right volume, a magical atmosphere under the stars; all topped off by the incredibly kind staff, who warm the heart. I left the place with a sense of serenity I hadn't felt in a long time. Excellent, in my opinion. Highly recommended!

23/08/2026: A decidedly disappointing lunch. The worst part was the lack of care and cleanliness of the raw fish, which we found contaminated with insects/parasites and improperly cleaned intestines; a situation we consider absolutely unacceptable for a restaurant. To this, despite our early arrival, we had to wait over an hour between appetizers and first courses, and we also saw the table next to ours (who arrived later) eat much faster than us. Perhaps this was explained by the incident where the owner opened a beer and toasted with them at the table. However, this was all accompanied by inadequate explanations from the staff. As if that weren't enough, during service, the waitress accidentally spilled wine on the table. The waitress herself reported the incident to the owner while paying the bill, but even then, the situation was downplayed, without showing any particular attention or helpfulness towards the customer. Even more unpleasant was the owner's attitude, which seemed arrogant and presumptuous. Instead of seriously addressing our complaint about the presence of insects, he even went so far as to accuse us of having put the insects on our plates. An absurd and offensive accusation, which made an already negative experience even worse. We expected professionalism, attention to quality, attentive service, and above all, respect for the customer. Unfortunately, in all these respects, our experience was decidedly negative, and we will definitely not return. P.S.: I regret not taking photos right away to demonstrate the presence of various "insects/parasites" on the oysters and shrimp, because I initially believed it was truly a coincidence during the serving of the dishes.
