07/08/2025: We went for lunch and had a truly positive experience. All the dishes we ordered were well-prepared, with quality ingredients and simple yet refined flavors. Each dish arrived promptly, beautifully plated, and delicious.
But the restaurant's real strength, beyond the food, was the service. The family-run staff was exceptional: courteous, welcoming, and always attentive to making us feel at ease. It's rare to find such a sincere and spontaneous level of kindness and helpfulness, which contributes to an even more pleasant atmosphere.
A place where you eat well, feel welcomed with a smile, and immediately want to return.
03/08/2025: I returned to this restaurant after a few years and found the same atmosphere and good food I remembered. The kindness of the staff and the owner is exemplary. We ate very well, enjoyed impeccable service, and all at more than fair prices.

09/08/2025: I'm sorry, but we didn't have a great time... the ravioli had very little sauce, the cured meats in the appetizer still had their skins on, the lamb was tough, and the potatoes were tasteless... the wait times were insane! I'm still giving it three stars because the steaks were good and the waitress was very kind.

15/08/2025: Located in a very unusual location, over the years it has lost its class and the quality of its food. The paper tablecloths and napkins are practically transparent, the worst on the market. The menu, on an A4 sheet of paper, is highly questionable because it doesn't list allergens or the asterisks for frozen foods.
The waiters don't wear uniform shirts; they're all different. The kitchen is in the restaurant, the tables outside are far apart, and the dishes arrived uncovered by sweat, moths, etc.
There were six of us.
We were served thawed and re-sautéed chicory, and the industrial-style cheese and egg balls, heavily breaded like Ascoli olives.
The service was terrible: a plate of chicory arrives, 15 minutes after the other two chicory dishes, then a plate of potatoes, then the other two.
Next came two portions of lamb, then one sliced lamb with arugula, and then the three slices of lamb with porcini mushrooms. In reality, the side dish should come with the meat. The six of us diners were entitled to eat together.
In short, the intermittent dishes are not a sign of good organization between the service and the kitchen.
The place pretends to be something it's not, but the prices are exorbitant.
Not recommended.

09/06/2025: Ottima location con affaccio sulla piazza dell'obelisco, sicuramente uno dei punti più belli di Tagliacozzo. Cortesia del personale e cucina di buon livello con utilizzo di prodotti molto buoni. Una specialità le "fregnacce" una vera goduria. Ottimi gli antipasti e per gli amanti la "coratella". prezzi sicuramente nella norma. Da provare

16/07/2025: A restaurant offering traditional Abruzzo cuisine with Roman influences.
The first courses weren't as tasty as expected, but the arrosticini were excellent and cooked to perfection. The limit on the number of arrosticini per table is incomprehensible. The service was attentive and professional, although the wait for the arrosticini was quite long.
05/07/2025: Restaurant discovered by chance, we return every time we are in the area.
Nice environment and very kind staff.
The meat is very good but the first courses are also very good.

17/08/2025: The waiters were excellent, helpful and professional. A negative note was made for the pizza chef, whose Piazza Abbruzzese had a large crust and little toppings in the center. I reported this to the waiter, who promptly reported it to him, who indifferently ignored the complaint. Another negative note was made for the manager, who, considering the €3.00 service charge per person, would be €24 for a table of eight. Given the pizza and the €3.00 service charge, I'd rule it out.
11/08/2025: Without praise and without deception, the products are excellent, they make a good pinch, shame about the service, always too long, if you don't take advantage, you risk closing....

17/08/2025: I have been a customer for more than twenty years. Yesterday, August 16, 2025, we ate three first courses, a platter for two. I pointed out to the owner that they were disgusting and tasteless. He replied, "Unfortunately, there are many customers today." This is not the response of a restaurant owner. It is not acceptable. My response in return was, "The prices are always justified only by the price list and by poor service." Bye Gianluca, never again.
11/08/2025: I'm writing a review for the restaurant: the food is awful, the pizzas seem pre-cooked and are heavy and rubbery (it's like eating at a service station). The waiter put on a show all evening, drinking from customers' tables. Is everything okay?

10/08/2025: Not a good experience, dated room, bathroom shutter cord detached from the wall, smell of smoke and food in the corridors, breakfast poor to say the least with a sign at the back low but clearly visible from the breakfast room with scurrilous statements to say the least in response to closing the door.....
14/07/2025: I don't know where to begin with how disgusting this place is.
The restaurant is not clean; the tables are covered with plastic and a filthy tablecloth underneath, and then set the table with tablecloths with holes in them.
The food is poor, and I think it's even spoiled.
An unpleasant odor everywhere.
The rooms aren't up to standard.
The staff is dirty; one waiter even showed up wearing a filthy apron (and that's a compliment).
This establishment should be inspected by the local health authority.
The owner is always checking our noses, and he's always the one who gets annoyed if you pay by credit card.
And last but not least, we weren't even registered.
