We took a mixed appetizer from Camilla, a gnocchi with pistachios and a pasta and potatoes with provola. A mixed grill with side dishes and desserts. The price is in line with what we got, not cheap but fair. Advised.

17/12/2024: I have returned, for the umpteenth time, to this restaurant and I must confirm with great pleasure what I have already written previously. The very pleasant atmosphere of the place and the cordial welcome of the two owner brothers prepare you for a lunch that will certainly be remembered for the quality of the dishes (all from the gastronomic tradition of Central Abruzzo but with a skilful mix of innovations by Tina and Marcella who work in the kitchen under the watchful eye of Mamma Lucia (a living monument of catering in the city of Sulmona). If we then add the type of room service carried out by Marco and Giacomo with their collaborator Emilio, absolutely flawless due to the consolidated precision and courtesy, we understand why eating in the Ristorante da Gino is always a very pleasant experience and why the restaurant is a sure point of reference in the gastronomic panorama of the city of Sulmona.

06/12/2024: Family-run place where professionalism, competence, friendliness and friendliness in the service are included in the price and where the customer feels pampered. When I'm in Sulmona it's an obligatory "stop": it's always nice to go back!!! The cuisine is excellent, it's a shame it's closed in the evening for dinner. Better to book.

09/01/2025: Dopo quattro giorni passati in Abruzzo a degustare carne e formaggio ci mancava proprio assaggiare una bella pizza. Beh....ottima scelta per location, personale ma soprattutto pizza strepitosa e assolutamente digeribile soprattutto per una come me che poco va d' accordo con lievitati male e glutine vario. Veramente eccezionale....il forno a legna fa il resto. Sicuramente da riprovare. A presto Claudia da Roma

27/11/2024: The pizza is certainly very good with quality ingredients.. the flaws are: endless waiting more than 40 minutes with the place half empty, 15 people at most and the service non-existent... and the pizzas are really tiny but there is no question about the quality.. Obviously 4 stars because the pizza was good anyway good super honest prices

28/01/2025: I was passing through Sulmona with my family and I thought I had come to the right typical place. Unfortunately, however, we were not satisfied with the starter, as it costs 24 euros and is really skimpy; The parmigiana, on the other hand, is excellent, with good roasted meats and potatoes. For the first courses, however, we encountered problems: one of the owner brothers made a mistake in transcribing the order and therefore we had a completely different first course from the one requested; the other first one was ok. The pinsa was not good: the dough was acceptable, but the sauce was raw, the buffalo mozzarella wasn't buffalo mozzarella and the raw ham was cut too thick. The desserts are good, as are the beers on tap Therefore I would recommend the place only for some dishes; and also for the location as it is convenient being in the center.

15/01/2025: Wow, what a show!!! My family and I stopped by chance, and we were thrilled! The first courses are delicious, mouth-watering, excellent tagliolini with sausage, mushrooms and truffles, and the amazing carbonara, generous portions and above all excellent price 😉. The very kind lady.
