09/11/2024: We ate here (at least once) every day during our week-long stay in Pacentro (Abruzzo region). The warm welcome from the owners made us feel like family, and the food was the best we had on our trip to the Abruzzo. Over the course of many days, we enjoyed fantastic pasta(s), excellent pizza, and a very good steak with porcini mushrooms. The elegant/rustic atmosphere is also lovely. For someone visiting the area, it is definitely worth a special visit to dine here. Very reasonable prices for the quality and the experience. Reservations are a must for dinner, and pizza is only available on the dinner menu.

28/08/2024: You eat divinely, you pay the right price, in short everything you could want. When there are a lot of people the service is a little slower but it's really worth it. Some dishes are truly incredible, the scrambled egg with truffle, the sagnette with ricotta, bacon and pepper, or the simple aubergines as an appetizer or the mushrooms in the salad. All accompanied by excellent wines. And then the country is really beautiful!

24/08/2024: Posta's 7-course starter was really good, especially the cured meats and bruschetta. Delicious grilled scamorza and very tender kebabs. The desserts were a little disappointing, but the home made laurel liqueur was top!

10/08/2024: We had lunch with first courses and grilled lamb with side dishes, on a Saturday and not even on a holiday, they brought us all lukewarm food, already cooked, overcooked fettuccine, almost cold lamb and the side dishes arrived even after we had finished. Evidently reading the positive reviews that had thrilled us, the management must have changed or I have no idea what because the entire table of 6 people regretted the sandwiches that we didn't bring to have lunch there. I understand that it is the only restaurant within a 15km radius given that the hotel in Passo Lanciano is now a phantom wreck, but we too are being fooled!

18/08/2024: VERAMENTE UNA SORPRESA…In barba a tutte le recensioni negative.
Prenotato il 14 per avere posto il giorno dopo a FERRAGOSTO.
Il menù era fisso. E siamo stati accolti benissimo.
Antipasto di salumi e formaggi ( quello di capra fritto era MONDIALE)
Primo a scelta tra la savana o cannelloni (provati entrambi ed erano buonissimi)
Secondo tagliata e salsiccia con patate al forno ( cotte entrambe bene e tenere)
Frutta
Dolce tiramisù (veramente FOTONICO)
Acqua e Vino della casa (abbiamo scelto il rosato)
La cucina era casalinga, rispecchiando l’ambiente.
Ma abbiamo mangiato bene, anzi molto bene, insomma… il classico pranzo di Ferragosto come da tradizione abruzzese!

15/08/2024: Location scarsa di accoglienza. Pizza da impasto immangiabile molto simile a quello del pane ma scarsamente lavorato. Sembra l'impasto già pronto del supermercato. Cotta in teglia rotonda con olio sul fondo che la frigge, senza cornicione, con condimenti insapori.
Camerieri gentili ma non credo che i gestori siano italiani. Posso solo parlare della pizza. Mi auguro che altri cibi siano curati. Sconsiglio il posto.

Il cibo abbondante, di qualità e genuino . Lo consiglio vivamente
